Mary Cool was an excellent designer of all of my custom closets.She spent time to understand what I used my closets for and designed them to meet my needs. All the installers were great, but I especially liked Tristan, my last installer. He was efficient, neat and clean. He is also a delightful young man.

We ordered a closet unit and a desk unit from California Closets in April. C.C. have to our home 3 (4th was to be today but they were a “no show”) times over a period of 6 weeks and we are still awaiting a bookcase to be installed as part of the desk unit. Very piecemeal delivery. Incorrect measurements, incomplete shipments, and now incorrect material have all been issues. They are completely unresponsive to our current request to find out when the final installation will be made.

California Closets designed and installed new clothes and shoe storage for our Providence condo. The design and planning process was very easy. They have experienced designers and a modular system that allow for fast turnaround. The end result is has been fantastic to use thus far. The only point of criticism we have is that on installation day there was some confusion with the amount of needed materials and one of the installers needed to come back second day to finish the job. Otherwise, the experience was really good.

I got three price quotes and I thought the Container Store would be cheaper but California Closets were more affordable and better quality. I worked with Mary Cool. She walk into our closet and assessed how the closet should work for myself and my husbands needs which were completely different from each other. Our closet now feels double in size and installation went in without a hitch, very professional. Mary is absolutely wonderful to work with and now getting ready in the morning is quick and easy. My husband and I joke we should have done this sooner! Who knew that having a well organized closet could bring such JOY! Cant thank you enough Mary!

Despite previous good experience with CC in Hartford CT, working with the Warwick was a nightmare from essentially beginning to end, with few exceptions.Missed appointmentLying to customer about sales that were offered online then misrepresenting that the sale price is already included when it is nowhere in the listed price.Installer reeking of alcoholSame installer making mistakes that needed doors to be reorderedSaid reordered doors were reordered wrong.Multiple defects found in product that required repairs that installers ignored.All workers stated they have poor tools to do the work they need to doManagement very unwilling to do anything to rectify the above complaints. Made customer feel like customer was the problem.Basically, California Closets is a very high end product at high end prices. It should be high end service. On the rare occasion if something should go wrong, they should be able to fix the problem quickly and take care of the customer. Not only did just about everything go wrong, but I just about had to beg them to fix the problems. It took months for them to do so.I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy, but sadly there are not many alternatives in this high end closet market. They do not deserve your business.

From the start of planning my closets, to installation and completion, I cant say enough about the great job that California Closets did with installing my new closets. The quality of the materials is excellent as well.It was great working with the rep, Mary Cool. She always got back to me whenever I had a question. Even after 3 years, when I needed an adjustment, they responded and came out right away to take care of my problem. I love my closets and am so happy that I went with California Closets!

We had several closets done by these guys about 4 years ago and all was well. No problems. This year I decided I had too much hanging and not enough shelves in my closet so I contacted them to order a couple more shelves.I was told it would take a while because of the pandemic affecting things at the shop. So I waited. And waited. And waited some more. Finally I called them after 2 months had gone by.The woman I reached on the phone (sorry I dont remember her name) was mortified that I had waited so long. Somehow the order had fallen though the cracks.What I didnt expect is that she would volunteer to send the shelves for free because of the delay, which she did. And this time they came promptly, were very well and safely wrapped, and even came with a little pouch of pins to hold the shelves up.This was far above what I expected from them, and it was more than they had to do - I still would have paid for the shelves when I called but they did it for free, including shipping!I highly recommend this business, they understand that in customer service things sometimes get messed up, so its what you do after that that counts the most. I dont need any more closets done right now, but if I did Id call California Closets in Warwick in a heartbeat.

Love the look of new master closet. Only issue was during install that had wrong size connector pieces so had to wait another week to finish completely. Installers were friendly and did a great job.

Mary helped me create the vision to turn a former workspace into a dressing area, and also redesigned the closet in my daughters room. Both came out great - we couldnt be happier with the results! I already have ideas for more projects and cant wait to continue organizing my home with the help of CC!

We purchased a custom design of a small walk-in closet to maximize the available space. Mary came up with the perfect plan that easily doubled our usable space. We couldnt be happier.

Every step of the way from scoping through build was a great experience. Taylor and the Warwick team were a pleasure to work with. We had a vision, and CC brought it to life!

We got our California Closet a few years back. I have had to constantly re-glue the moldings and trim. The installers were imbeciles and the product looks cheap. I would recommend Raymour and Flanigan or a local carpenter even if the cost is more.

I had 2 very polite and efficient young men install two closets. They did a wonderful job.
