Very professional and good service. Owner has been there for years and is funny. Take your mower, chainsaw, leaf blower etc. Here to get fixed you wont be disappointed.
My experience with Precision saw & mower was excellent. Donna was wonderful and Harry and team picked up fixed and delivered my mower much sooner than anticipated. I took a brand new mower and accidentally hit a rock.Thankyou Precision will recommend you to allPaul Jackskn
Brought in weed wacker twice to find little to no repairs were made to it. Only ran for about 15 minutes before stalling both times.
Very helpful staff. I was so impressed with the service done for my brothers snow blower that I just dropped off the mower for a tune up. I highly recommend this place.
Wasnt exactly the repairs experience I was hoping for after being without my equipment for so long and things not running correctly still.
Just outstanding, turn around time incredible, Tuesday pick up drop off Friday, really a great place, Mike and company great yo deal with . My snowblower repaired and tuned up great ! My only complaint after “ detailing “ my snowblower is they missed the “ tire shine “ what gives ? Highly recommended for any small engine repair !Thank you .Rog
The best, I wouldnt go anywhere else
Great service! Great sense of humor:)
I had a really bad experience with this business.I brought a cub cadet snow blower which was still under warranty to fix a transmission issue. They had the snowblower for almost a month, when I called they said it’s ready and told me it would be 68.00 I told the service person it was under warranty and I was told it would be covered at no charge to me.This was resolved after he put me on hold and talked to someone else in the shop.I picked up the machine and brought it home. When the first snow storm came I started the machine and found that NO repair was done to it. It was in the same condition it was prior to spending a month in their shop.I guess I should have asked them to start the snowblower and try it before I left.If you bring anything to this business I STRONGLY suggest you do just that
Always have what i need for my mower
Not sure if my expectations are unreasonable or not.I brought my chainsaw there to have it fully serviced on 06/12/2020. They said it would be 3 weeks before they could look at it and quote the job. I agreed, I understand service businesses are very busy as of late. On 07/14 after not hearing anything I called to check in, I was told i should hear shortly. 3 weeks later I was told that it needs a new bar and chain and it would be quicker for me to bring it to Taylor Rental on Post Road for it would take them at least a week to get the parts and Taylor usually stocks them. So I picked it up, paid $47 for whatever service and dropped off at Taylor rental, who needed to order the parts and it would take a week. Very odd experience and quite frankly poor customer service. Am I missing something?
Great local shop for all small engine repair and more. Excellent service.
Very helpful, nice people
The owner Mike is an awesome guy.My first time there and I am now a permanent customer.
Good service, excellent mechanics, Stihl dealership
Great place to shp
We had a riding tractor that two other repair shops said they fixed the problem of it not starting. Finally had Precision pick it up, give us an estimate of repair; “Honestly, it would cost too much and considering its age, 20+ yrs, you would be better off buying a new one”. They fixed our push mower and will save for another tractor, end of season sale. Honesty goes a long way. Have been back for other small repairs and highly recommend PRECISION SAW AND MOWER SERVICES.
They are very professional about what they do. They are extremely friendly and helpful. They have the ability to take care of your equipment needs and if they cant they will steer you in the right direction . Friendly and honest .They have a great business model. I would highly recommend them
Very helpful had what I needed. Looking forward to doing more business with them.
Great shop and great people. I wouldnt take my equipment anywhere else. Thanks Mike and Paul.
Best dealer around. They have very skilled small engine mechanics.Parts, Parts and more parts.Has always been a 1 stop shop for lawn care equipment.
The absolute best place to take all of your lawn repairs in RI. Theyre professional, accurate, and can fix all of your tractors, lawn mowers or any yard equipment. Hats off to the entire team. Especially Paul! Cant thank them enough for all their hard work!!!
If I could give -5 stars I would. This place takes forever to do work and for the prices they charge you are better off buying new equipment every other year. If you have a kid next door who is handy let him try to fix it first. They should change their name to Three Stooges repair shop.
Just bought a leaf blower at this location and the owner gave me a complete breakdown of the unit and even gassed it up so I could try it out. Being my first leaf blower purchase ever this was much appreciated. Definitely my outdoor service company going forward!
Mike and his team were extremely professional during our recent lawn mower and string trimmer purchase; ensuring we had full understanding of the operational features, and safety requirements of each piece. Mikes attention to detail made the buying experience much less stressful, and left us very appreciative of his abilities. He will have our business both when we need new power equipment, and when equipment service is required.Highly recommend.
Knowledgeable and professional employees make it the place to go.
Get customer service. Employees are very friendly and helpful. Put my leaf blower together and ran it to make sure it worked properly. Also gave me a little lesson on how it works.
I’m really sorry to do this, this may be one of the only one star reviews I’ve ever given.Just a forward to this: I did not pay out of pocket for the service I am about to describe. This is for warranty service on a tool that precision saw is an authorized repair facility for.I brought a drill in for repair under warranty, including having the original purchase receipt to prove in-warranty status. This was in ~April of 2017. I was told it could be a little while, but I didn’t expect that a little while would mean I would have picked it up in late January, 2018.While it was in for repair, I called 3 times, in July, August, and finally again about 2 or 3 weeks ago in January 2018. Only after that last call did the repair work begin. I did stop in about 6 months ago to pick up my battery and take it home, so it wouldn’t degrade during this extremely long repair time. What I found was an organization system that consisted of cardboard boxes and plastic buckets on the floor full of tools. One gets grabbed off the top and fixed, and the rest get buried under more. This surely was the cause of my excessively long wait.Judging by the dozens of pieces of power equipment that always sit outside here, their organization for the big stuff doesn’t seem to be any better.Anyways, I picked up my drill today, which I replaced long ago after expecting to never get my original one back. Would it surprise you that it was assembled incorrectly and likely never tested? The drill was running backwards, and very slow. Turns out they installed the battery contacts in it backwards, so it was running reverse polarity. If I didn’t catch it right away and just put up with it working opposite and slow, this would have surely blown the MOSFET power supply in it, in short order. For these reasons I certainly cannot recommend bringing your tools here for warranty repair, and think twice about bringing your more expensive power equipment here if this is the attention to detail these sorts of things get.Sorry Precision Saw and Mower. If you don’t have the time and attention to detail to be an authorized warranty repair center for this stuff, then don’t. At the very least, set expectations appropriately, and get repairs right the first time.
Honest, reliable, easy to work with. I’ve been using this shop for over 5 years. Highly recommend
Love That Place! Fun Filled Happy People. Definitely Will Go Back!
No matter how busy they are, Mike the owner, always takes time to answer questions about Power Equipment. Very nice guy, great place to do business
If you need Stihl parts, theyve got what you need. Super friendly guys even though I cruised in there at 2 minutes to closing. Glad to have a local shop that has what I need.

Its no secret. These men are fantastic. Go.
Mike at Precision mower is professional knowledgeable and tells you what the cost is going to be to repair your equipment I give it 5 Stars every time
Very nice and helpfull and knowledgeable about there products
Went there to get a tire fixed for my snowblower the day before a snow storm. I was in and out in 5 minutes. Very impressed!
Best place to go for lawn equipment Etc Smart Guys great owner and they have everything
I can do any of this work.for half the price with parts and everything I cant see why these places charge so much for some jobs that literally does not match the numbers they charge for.labor and your equipment stays there for weeks....my shop gets customers equipment in and out for the most part...dont understand how it takes 2 weeks for a.tuneup and 200$ later for storage and everything else...lol....its there fault they waited a week yo change the oil....lol...but thet are good for sharpening rider blades....Ive sent people from my shop there to have blades done...lol
Good severs
Awesome people awesome service top notch
Kerry great line of products very good repair work very customer-friendly
I had no problems with the staff or service there not only does Mike know everything but his hand picked staff is top notch... well most of them.
Brought in an older Stihl chainsaw for a rebuild, told them I wanted a saw that starts, runs well, and cuts like new. After nearly 2 months of calling about the saw I left them, they had me come pick it up. They basically charged me $225 for a carb rebuild and tune up, which I could have gotten over if they did it well. The saw still couldnt cut wood, and quit running shortly after bringing it home. I asked them to rebuild the piston and header if needed to restore compression, which they opted NOT to do, even though it really needed it and had a scored piston. They then proceeded to put cheap parts back in the saw which should NEVER be used in a pro Stihl saw. Ive gone there for a few years, but Im so disappointed I will never go back there for anything. Ended up eating the $225 I paid them and selling the saw for parts. They also overcharged me big time on a new Stihl tune up, and put cheap parts in that one too.
Took Cub Cadet w/carb problem. $80. Runs great.
Had what I needed on stock
Damn rip off. John Deere rider went in for a belt replacement and service. They charged me more than a service on my Harley Davidson. Its a freakin lawn mower not a Benz. When I went to pick it up they had a problem with the choke and it wouldnt run. Just serviced and tested I was told / charged asorbant fees for. Freakin crooks. I will never go there again.
I bring my Champion generator on june 14 and Only after more than 12 calls and one month tHey finally look into. ..... Someone name Steve told me will be to expensive to repair but Mike decide to go and get it done according to The powerplus Service plan from tractor supply ...... Now another month go by and tHey dont event order The parts. ....very bad service ......
Mike was awesome with helping thanks mike
I have bought a stihl weedwacker there, and have ordered numerous repair parts, as well as picking their brains for advice. I have been pleased on every occasion. Prices have been at or below the available price elsewhere, their advice and knowledge has been solid, and shipping has been quick when they needed to order a part not in stock. They know their stuff, and I like doing business where I know if I ask a question, Im likely to get a knowledgeable answer. Box stores like HD and Lowes dont provide this- usually you end up schooling the employee on their stock.
I purchased a Stihl electric trimmer from Mike. Explained the differences in models. Also, he helped fix my brother-in-laws remote control nitro baja truck. I trust his advice and always bring my equipment to Mike.
