Wow! Sam was amazing. Family oriented, spouse came to visit the shop and she was helping with customers. Sam took his time to test drive my 16 year old jeep who needed a wheel alignment. They discovered a shake on the front driver side tire and he checked on his balancing machine which was off. He was honest and told me to take it back to discount tires because it was still under warranty. I will definitely be coming back.

This group of gentlemen are by far the best in the business. From the owner Sam to the Manager Willie to the Counter Person Mike and all the Mechanics. They are so genuinely kind and take the time to explain the issues with your car. They also work quickly to get you in and out of the shop and reasonable with their prices. I and my children only use THIS Midas, and in fact my daughter travels from Dallas to do so. Many of my friends utilize this shop as well because I love to brag on them so much, and they have all had the same wonderful experience! :)

Awesome place! Store manager Willie and mechanic Brok went out of their way to help us today. My wife completely busted a tire near Walmart on Rufe Snow drive. To make things worse 2 out of 5 lug nuts were unscrew-able so I couldnt just remove the wheel and take it to the shop. They took care of it and also replaced the lug nuts as a bonus. Amazing people! We lucked out today :)

This place nit picks everything. Only reason I stopped by was because everywhere else was busy. They wanted $300 to replace my new tires so I could pass my inspection, so I took it down the road to Hunters auto and passed my inspection for $25.

Great guys who have honest and reasonable prices. I needed a new battery and oil change. Their oil change was $30 less than anywhere else, and they dont charge battery installation charges (saving me about $60). Would highly recommend!

I had just found out that my rear passenger side tire had a nail in it and was causing my tire pressure to leak fast. I had been here on another occasion for my wifes tire that had a flat and remembered how great the customer service was here. They were able to squeeze me in last minute and get me back on the road in less then 30 minutes. On top of that it was no charge! I will be back in the future based off this experience. Was having issues with the electrical system in my Mercedes E320. Tracked it down to the voltage regulator (part of the alternator). Everyone needs reliable transportation, and Im no different. I bought a new alternator up the street and Midas installed it. It was quick and painless. Unlike many other shops, though, they installed it on a Saturday. But what really brings me here to do this review is my tire. I had a slow leak that I figured out was caused by a nail in the tread. I called Midas and was told that they could plug the nail hole while I waited. Super. How much? No charge. Very nice touch. I was several minutes away when I called, so I detoured to Midas. Sam was very professional and I was back on the road in 19 minutes. Ill be giving Midas Watauga my business whenever I can.

Sam and the crew here are awesome and keep my car running the way it should. I drove to Houston or Austin every day. I have not yet broken down along the road. Parts and tires are replaced promptly. I have not yet had a flat tire while driving. Or any breakdown. If they say you will soon need tires or a filter, we just go ahead and do it. I can’t afford not to. I am happy with the service and treatment I get here.

I just recently made an appointment for an oil change and state inspection and I am disappointed in the service that I received. Not only did I not receive my state inspection, but I felt like I was misled on the price of the oil change. I thought the price would be getting an oil change for 29.99 plus tax but was not made aware of the labor charge, which made this the most expensive oil change compared to Jiffy Lube and other local places.Furthermore, the technicians left oil stains along by driver side door, in which I have been able to get most but not all of it off.I will never return to this location and will make sure to tell others as well. Go support a local place that will treat you better

Wow! First of all, I understand this place is busy on the weekends but I scheduled an app for 8am on a Friday morning and surprisingly when I got there, they were packed. The tech walked out and asked our name & when we told him, he informed us the guy who scheduled us had no idea the schedule was already booked and that we would need to reschedule or wait 2 hours for their first opening available/no show. So we scheduled one for 10am and came all the way back for another guy to tell us theyre too busy that he doesnt see us on the schedule and to try coming back that night between 5-7. Hell no, will never come here again!

My stereo speaker system is not working properly after Car repairs done at this location. Brakes and oil change. For all the searching they do to find revenue I am sure they cause this problem. But they denied it.My speaker system was working fine until they work in my car. I don’t think I can recommend this midas shop. I will never be back.

I needed help with replacing my battery in my car. It is located under the fender so I could not do it myself. Without hesitation, Jeremy, the manager, told me that we could take care of you. There are so many car shops near me and I went to this place because they have a lot of decent reviews, so I must say I was very disappointed. First, when I got an oil change a couple of months ago the sticker that they put in my windshield said that my brakes were recommended, however nobody in the shop mentioned anything to me in person about needing them looked at. Last week when I went to get another oil change, Id heard a little bit of squeaking on my way to the shop so I asked them to look at them. The manager Willie came out and told me I need new front brakes and that it would be $219. Even though I really didnt want to, I told them to go ahead and do it b/c driving with bad brakes isnt something I want to chance. About 2 mins later I asked another associate is he can find out exactly how much time I could let go before I REALLY need a new brakes (we just had Xmas, I have student loans...it was an expensive December), and he went out into the garage and came back with sample brake pad thicknesses on a ring. He showed me one that was extremely thin and said that that is what mine looked like. I decided that I would ask my brother to change them for me instead of spending a ridiculous $219 on them (they justified that cost by saying theres a lifetime warranty and that next time I come back Ill only have to pay $130 in labor-for a 20 min-job, and that they resurface your rotors...which OReillys will do for $15...). My brother came by a few hours later to change the brake pads, and it turns out they did not need to be changed at all. The very thin sample brake pad that the guy told me was what mine looked was probably about half the size of what my brake pads ACTUALLY look like. I get that guys at these car shops want to sell you stuff, but to blatantly lie to customers face is disgusting and enough to prevent me from ever going back to their shop again. Not to mention that they didnt clean all the oil up that they spilled all under the hood of my car during my oil change, and seem to get very annoyed when I started questioning them. Ill be finding a more trustworthy place.

Amazing Change for the Better! We have been using this shop for over 25 years and it had really gone downhill. But the new managers - Larry and Jackie Moore - are exceptional and the place is what it used to be and more. To start - the Moores are kind, respectful and careful in their diagnostic and repair quotes, they perform exactly whats needed and dont try to upsell or guilt you into anything you dont need. Secondly - Our front end suspension repair was done in 50% of the time quoted, makes the truck feel brand new and included a FREE two-year roadside assistance policy for ANY REASON. This means a free tow, jump or tire repair anywhere in the US - for FREE! FOR TWO YEARS! Did I remember to say it was FREE?!There are current magazines in the shop, the inventory is neatly arranged and the whole experience has improved. This is a great change for the better! I will be highly recommending you to many others!

I have visited Midas in Watauga a few times. I have received excellent customer service each time. Sam, Sebastian, Willy and their team are very knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. They are always so nice. I was offered a nice cold water bottle while I waited for my car to get work done. My A/C was not working in my minivan. The Midas team fixed my A/C and it is working amazing! Thanks to them my kids and I are very comfortable during these really hot days in Texas. I have taken my minivan in for oil changes. Sam took the time to educate me on which oil would best preserve my high mileage vehicle. Im very happy I found a great place to take my vehicles. I would recommend the Midas Watauga to all my friends and family.
