Went in about thirty minutes to closing. I was greeted by staff Omar. I asked if he would help me, as the last time in this store was less than a one star rating experience. Right away he said that he would with a smile on his face. He let me know that he would get things going even with closing time soon. Omar worked with my phone until he had things working for me again. He took the time to tell me about other phones I might be interested in, in the near future. Omar changed my perception of the Waverly store with his customer service. I had said I would never step foot back in the store after my horrible experience with a gal when attempting to purchase my plan. So Waverly Branch, Omar needs to be thanked, (pay raise) as he gained a buying family back to your store. To any future customer, I would recommend asking for Omar when you walk in the door. You will receive amazing customer service!

I was helped by Jake Johnson, I believe he was owner of the branch. He was so very helpful! He was very knowledgeable about the phones and plans and even helped me set my fantasy football line up. I rate it a 5, but Jake is surly a 10 in my eyes.

Update: They finally have her phone working fully and have offered a credit for the full month that we did not have service. I have adjust my rating accordingly.Worst phone experience weve had in our lives. We bought a new phone for my wife a month and a half ago and it still does not work. We have made many trips to fix and they never come through. I only give a 2nd star because all of the help have been nice to us. I will be going in tomorrow and will be coming out witha phone that can make and receive calls or I will be walking out with no phone and all of my money back across the street to Verizon!

The helpful & polite customer service rep (Aaron Berg) was quick to point out that we had a plan that was $30 more per month than a plan offering better benefits. The new plan started 10 months ago. Glad he switched us now. Not happy to gift US Cellular $300. Beware of the teacher discount.

Im not very tech savvy so when I need to upgrade my phone they are able to tell me which one would work best for what I need. The manager is really great to work with as well as choy. They also have tablets you can add to your service which is nice too.

We were grandfathered into a previously offered plan. They highlighted a couple upsides to a new plan and did not explain any possible down sides. We asked questions but didnt ask if they (US Cellular or Next Generation Wireless) were deplorable enough to block wifi hotspotting all phones on our plan. Both are shady, terrible companies. Will forever share this 1 star review when asked about cellphone plans.

My phone would not take a charge, I went to the Waverly location looking for help. Not only did they help me find another phone, they also helped me set it up and get it going as it was my first smartphone. Thanks guys!!!

I dont understand this place. Customer service is spotty here. I can come into this store any given time of day and wait over 20 mins. Im sitting waiting now for 20 mins and nobody has even acknowledged my presence. But if I come in and act like Im buying a phone they instantly change their attitude. Poor service. Beni has seen me like 4 timesNo eye contact.... Oh and every time I come in someone walks out due to wait time. Literally just watched this happen. They didnt acknowledge his presence either. They are inattentive and dont really care. EDIT: Aaron was good to me after having noticed me when his hands freed up. Total time in store for phone switch: 1 hour

Who even hires these people? That was some of the worst customer service I have seen in my life. The person who helped me there would just stare into space every 5 mins, looked like he did not know what he was talking about, and did not even seem to care for his job. I was in a great mood until I went to this store, the people do not have any people skills for a job that requires people skills.

I have been a US Cellular customer for 17 years. I purchased a new phone from the Waverly store back in February. The phone cost over 700 bucks. A month and a half later the phone dies. I brought it in to the the Waverly store to get some assistance. Norm told me that I needed to contact Samsung because it is after the 15 day window and tossed the phone back at me. He was rude and condescending. After I spent over an hour doing a live chat with Samsung (couldnt call because my phone didnt work) they told me that US Cellular should have given me a phone to use while my phone is being fixed. The Waverly office refused to help me. Our phone bill is over $300 a month and this is the service I received.

I had a very unpleasant experience with Annette. First off once she realized I was only in for troubles with my phone, she totally ignored me and told me the Cellular service troubles I’ve been having could only be solved by ITech in Cedar Falls. Before I could even say thank you someone else came in the door and she ran to them and just ditched me like yesterday’s garbage. I don’t like feeling like trash when I have troubles and that is what Annette made me feel like.

Limited service. They send you to the far end of Waterloo for replacement phone batteries. Dont carry, refuse to order them in. They only do business with you if it includes a new contract. Otherwise, dont expect much else.

1-2-18 230pm. The female working was so absolutely rude to a elderly man that he left the store with tears in his eyes. Several customers in the store became angry at her behavior. She should be fired and banned from working in customer service.
