We waited over 35 minutes for our very sub-par breakfast sandwiches in an angry mob of people who were also waiting and agitated. My gluten free bagel was so stale it was hard and dry (I’ve had them from here before and they’re good). Also, they knew nothing about care for someone with dangerous allergies, they didn’t care at all when I requested a separate knife be used for my gluten free bagel. My husband’s sandwich was slapped together and looked awful, sloppy and unappetizing. There was meat on only one side, cheese on the other. Yuck!

The worst customer service at any establishment I’ve ever been to. I placed an online order for pick up & I arrived at the pick up time. I came into the establishment & there was no food in the pick up counter so I kindly (emphasize on kindly) asked the workers on the status of my order. The employee at the register immediately gave me an attitude, telling me to wait & the he is busy. So I decided to not react as it was very busy so I did just that: waited. 15 minutes pass of me getting no update on my order, basically getting ignored. Customers come & go & I’m not even getting attending. So I get on line, wait my turn, and ask the cashier again & again, I get an extremely rude response, telling me he’s busy & brushed me away & points at the man who is cooking telling me to talk to him, he’s the manager. I go to the man cooking & ask him for the status of my order. The man says he’s the cook, he doesn’t know anything. I tell him the cashier JUST told me he’s the manager. He then says “oh, yea, I am.” Just completely brushing me & two other customers with mobile pick up orders off. He also was very rude & dismissive saying he’s busy & he doesn’t know anything. At this point, I’m frustrated & just ask for a refund. He gave me a hard time with that as well. He had me write my name & said he’ll refund my order when he had time. The cook/manager’s name was Sam. Extremely rude. It was disheartening as I seriously was not giving them any attitude or rushing them in any way. I would rate them 0 stars if I can. I’ve never made a negative google review but this experience was so horrible, I felt I had to. 0/10

I LOVED their food. This was my first time eating there BUT they make a good impression. So I WILL be coming back in the future. The bacon was crispy. The service was fast. The manager gave my kids a water bottle. The staff was polite & very professional. The food was delicious.

Food is nice when they get the order right. But often they don’t pay attention- their takeout and delivery needs quality control. If you ask for ketchup, you won’t get it. Ask for a fork, it won’t be in the bag. Then there’s entire items within orders that are missing. Bagels, egg and cheese sandwiches, large coffees, potato chips... they’ll be missing from your order, and this occurs quite often. So just be careful when you do takeout/delivery with this place.

I ordered Uber eats the driver was great. The bag was stapled and when I opened it was missing a bagel. I called and I got a very rude person on phone and speaking another language not knowing I happened to understand the language. I wasn’t calling asking for a refund I was calling to let them know I was missing food. Will never order from there again. Don’t speak negative on the phone in another language you never know what the other person speaks as well.

Whom ever the young girl was taking orders today is the same female I had an issue with before this is now the 2nd terrible encounter. SHE DOESNT LISTEN AT ALL HAS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS . No surprise as this is a franchise store with standardized recipes. Prices were rather high er than desirable.

We asked for 2 everything bagels, we were told they were out. Not a second later the everything bagels came out fresh, they changed out other peoples orders and told us better luck next time. Coffee also taste horrible!! No customer service!!

Didnt expect much from a chain bagel place but I was very much impressed. Bagels were fresh and delicious. Service was friendly and fast. Lota of tasty drinks available, loved the blackberry lemonade. Strawberry cream cheese was creamy and sweet and perfect.

Bagels were okay nothing to brag about, we had a groupon so we went out of our way. The woman who took our order couldnt be less attentive and we had to ask who gives us our half dozen when our sandwiches were done because the woman who took our order was busy rearranging the bagels instead of getting ours. And then when we left we realized my order was wrong.

Bland tasting Avocado veg out. Terribly sloppy assembly and very off tasting. Sad to say one of the worse experiences with the poor attitude of the staff. Disappointing.

As a ubereats/doordash driver this the worst place to pick up. They’ll literally have you there waiting for 15-20 minutes without a care in the world. Ate here once and prefer any local bagel shop. Its all about the name brand manhattan bagel please!!

Workers were professional and hard working but one girl was pretty loud while talking to a customer about her personal life and how her tips reflected her coworkers later. Certain members of the staff are extremely rude. Ive been coming here for a while and Ive always been polite and quiet. I order my food, say thank you and sit down. Recently some staff have been taking my order silently while giving me a cold stare. They dont ask me if I want it toasted if I forget to mention it; they dont give me a simple What would you like to order. Nothing. Straight silence. This happened the last couple of times I was there and I had to walk out today without getting my order. I have never seen worse customer service in my life. Its a shame, since I like the bagels.

I usually order from Manhattan Bagel in Totowa which is always great. However, this time decided to go with the Wayne location. What a disappointment. Our order was delivered so I didn’t notice anything until it was here. First we were missing a bagel and then we had ordered a Taylor ham and cheese bagel. Well that bagel literally had only 2 slices of Taylor ham and 1 piece of cheese. The ham didn’t even take up the entire bagel so half the bagel was plain. Unfortunately it did not live up to my expectations and I would never order from here again. The location in Totowa is so much better and the money is so worth what you get.

Just ok bagels. Theyre not made on premise but rather defrosted and you can taste it. Some of the breakfast wraps are pretty good since they actually cook the eggs, which for some reason not all bagel shops in Wayne do. Always busy on the weekends but always quick. The service is good and quick.

Great bagels, pretty good coffee. If youre one of those coffee connoisseurs then you wont be wowed but it will be passable. Their wraps and sandwiches are to die for and the staff is always cheerful and hard working. Eat here and youll know they arent wasting your time. Plus theyre pretty generous with their spreads and toppings. Great variety of bagels as well. Prices are moderate, but for the quality, Id say its worth it.

This was my first time at this place and it was an awful experience. Ordered 2 bacon sandwiches one with egg the other with out, both on a plain bagel. I get home and 1 sandwich is on an everything bagel. The other completely wrong: a Taylor ham and cheese on raisin bread with syrup. This was my first and last time there.

I love this place. Come here all the time. Everyone is really nice..... except for this one girl. She is usually the cashier. She gets triggered for no reason. All I asked was for something that was not given to me with my order (honest mistake). She got mad and started getting extremely disrespectful (shes lucky I didnt return the favor out of respect for everyone else there). All because she was confused. Shame. She sucks all the way.

I come here often for breakfast and/or lunch and the staff always provides me a fresh meal with perfection and regardless how busy the staff may be I always get my meal on time. This is by far the cleanest and best bagel shop in town :)

As a student of William Paterson, I come here fairly often and always leave happy. This place is great for food on the go, or a sit down breakfast. The coffee is self serve, which I always appreciate in a breakfast place of this style. I would especially recommend this place for anyone looking for a good iced coffee.

Not what I would call a bagel and the workers were pretty rude when I told them they gave me the wrong coffee. Sandwiches arent bad and have been back a few times for them.

The staff is incredible, pleasant, and friendly. They make a point to remember you and greet you. The bagels and cream cheeses are really good and the restaurant is always clean. There is a lot of variety on the menu and the prices arent bad.

Eh. The service here got worse with time. The last few visits we’ve been waiting at least 20 minutes for 2 bagels with egg ham and cheese. Today waited almost half an hour and it was put on the wrong bagel with no salt pepper or ketchup. We waited so long one time they gave us a free muffin. Im highly disappointed. Ive ordered from them and theyve been fine. But once, I ordered Turkey Bacon and it was clearly cooked in pork fat. It smelled off and tasted off.For anyone who has a restricted diet, this is not the place to go. Why on earth would you cook Turkey Bacon with probably regular bacon ..etc? Do you not realize that if people wanted to eat Pork Bacon, theyd have ordered pork bacon?This ruined my whole meal. And I felt disgusted. I usually like Manhattan Bagel. There are several in this area. So, naturally, I went there for a quick sandwich between commitments. Ham and cheese, should be simple. I got the sandwich wrapped in foil, so I got rolling and figured to open it on the road. When I saw the sandwich, I nearly pulled off the road. There seemed to be one slice of ham folded over, with cheese on it. I couldnt believe it. It was all I had, so I ate it and kept going. I should have taken a picture and posted it. Check your food before you leave. My new motto. Nice, clean place however.

Not real bagels, whatever the ad says. Go to a local bagel place for a huge jump in quality. Bagels taste like the bag.

I ordered a plain bagel with strawberry cream cheese and a honey whole wheat everything bagel with cream cheese. The order was read back to me and wrong. I corrected the girl and paid. I just got home and opened my bag super excited to try a honey whole wheat bagel but apparently I can just go F myself, because I have 2 plain bagels with plain cream cheese. Dont get me wrong, I know the service industry is difficult but seriously? Thats not even fing close..

The management is very friendly and professional and in a few months it has already become a local hangout. The sandwiches are really good. The coffee is fresh and hot. Prices are a little higher than usual bagel places but they are good bagels. I dont approve of the music though its too loud and inappropriate for the setting.

This is the new one that is on the corner of Ratzer and Hamburg Turnpike. They are very proficient and friendly. I enjoy going there especially since they have healthy options too!

First visit and it was great! We stopped in after we found out Mommas Boy restaurant on the hill closed and had a gift card for here.There was a little confusion with the gift card but the woman working the register got the manager to help. This was good service as some cashiers will simply say the card has no balance. She was also quite patient with me as I can be indecisive when trying out a new place and let me know to take my time as she kept herself busy working while I made I my mind.The manager welcomed us as we entered and we even talked a bit about Mommas Boy closing. Edge though were got there 10 minutes before closing they didnt rush us out. ( Although it is rude to simply hang out while a place is closing) So we enjoyed our bagels and hot chocolate at a nice place before leaving.The bagels are delicious. They toasted then just right. I had the egg bagel with Salmon cream cheese and my wife had a bagel with Pastrami and cheese that made me bit envious too.The temperature was comfortable too, on which some places can really cheap out, so that was good too!We will definitely be back to this location even though there is one closer to us.As you can see from my profile weve eaten in allot of locations so if we say try it, we mean it! So try it!

My daughter and I went for brunch last Friday and not only was the food fresh and delish, the services was outstanding. I am a disabled person and they went out of their way to accommodate me, including loading my chair in the car. I wish we had Manhattan Bagel in Florida

Although this place has good food. The staff there are incompetent. The staff is not at all welcoming nor friendly. Professionalism is the last thing on their minds. The manager was eating his meal on the side of the counter and was very visable. He was right next to the drink station where he can contaminate the drinks.The drink was also made incorrect. They usually put chocolate swirls in the cup and did not this time.The woman making my drink looked up and said its done, Without any courtesy to tell me which side of the counter the drink was ready. Let alone even being kind enough to hand me the drink, she just sat it down giving the impression that I can leave now and I am not welcomed.I am a Hispanic woman and I strongly feel that this place discriminates against anyone not WHITE. From the first time I came here, all I received were stares, bad service and stupidity. Id order their food from Uber Eats but I wouldnt come here personally ever again.
