I was pretty apprehensive about hiring movers. It is a luxury that is worth every penny! Carl & TC were my guys and they were great! Very fast, friendly. It was very reasonable price too.

Would absolutely not recommend this company. We paid a significant amount of money for this company to pack and move us. The home was recently staged for listing pictures therefore there was no clutter or extra toys. I was even told this will be an easy pack…I left a long, detailed review on Facebook (go check it out!) however the characters were exceeded on the Google review. If you want an over priced, stressful, incomplete moving experience then Brazos Movers will do you right.*note: There are some very good men that work for this company, however the majority of my experience was a nightmare.***owner reached out and did everything he could to make try and make this situation better. He sent an additional crew and truck to complete the move. I believe given a different crew this would have been a painless experience, there are definitely some great employees in this company.

We’ve moved four times and this was probably our best move for the money. The office was responsive and flexible in setting up an estimate, and the estimate was extremely reasonable.Pack day, the crew was efficient and courteous. They came in under the estimate for the pack.Move day, the crew arrived early (but called first). Came in almost exactly on estimate. We have unpacked almost everything and have yet to find anything broken or mishandled.Local company, great price, great experience. I would recommend Brazos Movers to anyone.

A guy came out and looked at my stuff and gave me a quote to move it to the auction house. The cost was more than my stuff was worth! I had no idea what movers cost, but everyone said Get a mover.The guy was nice to me even after I told him I couldt afford it.Although Iwasnt able to use their services at this time, I wouldnt hesitate to use them in the future. It seems to be rare these days to have nice people operating a business. These are nice people.

Furniture moving blankets were not used for large furniture. Have a large scratch on a $5k Amish made table and a huge dent on the refrigerator door. One of the brackets on the top part of the leather couch was broken where the top inserts into the bottom. Furniture was just left in rooms leaving us to unwrap the plastic and put where we wanted. I filled out a damage form day of move and was told I would be contacted. I was not contacted and have been hung up on when I tried to reach out for compensation. I would not recommend this company.

Cole and Dada moved all of our furniture and boxes from our storage unit up to a third story apartment! They were so efficient and made sure the furniture stayed in great shape throughout the move. Packers were not professional. Left many things undone. Had to repack things they packed ourselves because some of our things were just dumped in a box. Did not wrap photos and pictures or lamps. One of the Brazos employees spent time in our bathroom doing #2 when he was on the clock at $110hr. The supervisor was argumentative when we told him we were firing him from moving us. They thought they did a good job and got mad when I told them they needed to wrap it up. Estimated 3 people for 5 hours. It took them 6 1/2 and cost me $175 more than the estimate and they didnt finish the job. I spent $973.00 to pack a 2200 sq ft home. They talked and listened to music and didnt really have a sense of urgency and I have had professional packers before.Packed boxes way too heavy and did not clearly mark what was in the boxes.I would never recommend them to anyone. Also, the owner never bothered to call to get an explanation of why we canceled them moving us.Very unsatisfied customer.

This is the second time I’ve used Brazos Movers and they did not disappoint. I had to reschedule my move, last minute, and they were still able to get help me on the day I suggested. Carl and Shawn were so helpful even in the rain. Tate and Dada came to assist with the unloading and were able to help finish the move quickly and with ease. My mom needed to be moved from one building to the other in her senior community. I called on Thursday, hoping to get an appointment on Saturday even at such short notice. To my surprise they had a slot on Friday! I was very happy. The time slot for their arrival was from 1:00-3:00 and I got a call about 2:15 saying they had just finished a job, was going to grab a bite of lunch and would be here around 3:00. Cole and Justin were fast and very careful with all of mom’s things. They were very polite and pleasant. I am so glad that I hired Brazos Movers.

I had movers scheduled with a different company but it got scheduled for the wrong day and time so I got this number from apartment office. I called on Friday morning of Memorial weekend and was told was fully booked but the girl would look to see if she could fit us in. They called back and got me in for Sunday morning at 10:00. They showed up and got everything done in hours quoted. We were so exhausted from packing but your guys were really friendly and worked hard. I was really impressed at one point one of the workers used a curse word, not offensive to us at all but the main guy immediately corrected him and told him not acceptable. He did it very professionally also. I was impressed by his attitude and how he handled his workers. Thanks so much for fitting us in and taking care of us.

We put a large amount of our house hold goods into storage while we were out of the country for an extended period. Brazos Movers packed our HHG and placed them in storage. They did an excellent job packing and moving. We recently had them move all our stuff back. They listened and met our request.

Manny and crew helped us pack up and move our things from the home we sold to a temporary location until our new house is ready. They were so helpful, polite and personable. It happened to be in the midst of the recent winter storm that had us all out of electricity and water and they made the best of it. On top of that, they sacrificed their entire Sunday to accomplish this. We will definitely be using them next month to move our things into our new home and highly recommend them to anyone in the area that needs movers. Thanks guys!!!

WOW! What a great experience. Dada and TC were professional and so pleasant. It is rare to have a better than expected outcome with a move. I would highly recommend this company and their employees.

We did a “self-move” from SC to Stephenville. It took two trips. On the first trip, we drove a 26’ rental truck and then stored our belongings in self-storage and returned to SC for the final truckload. We arranged for Brazos Movers to help us when we arrived in Stephenville. Brazos Movers sent a truck and four movers to load our stuff from storage, bring it to our new residence, unload their truck AND unload our truck including my baby grand piano. They were friendly, professional and knowledgeable in all their work and performed it all in a timely manner.

Tate, T.C. and Dustin did a great job getting a 300 lb. laser engraver upstairs. Way to heavy and bulky for myself and neighbors to try to move. Thanks again guys!

Everything that was disassembled was reassembled correctly The estimate was reasonable and there were no surprises on the final cost. I moved my Mom from Texas to Pennsylvania. Jon from Brazos Raleigh NC was fantastic. Answered all my questions, helped with some packing last minute when I ran out of materials and time, and the delivery was quick and on time. He was flexible and able to help with some of the “excess” boxes by dropping them at my home nearby. Totally professional. The local crew that helped unload was professional and friendly also. I wanted to use someone local like I did on my last move in Granbury. I scheduled two weeks in advance for a Saturday. They arrived a little late. I had everything boxed up close to the door as I was expecting them to load boxes first like my old movers. They wanted furniture first. My carpets had just been cleaned and movers tracked in dirt. My $1500 French door/bottom freezer refrigerator was damaged because they didn’t know how to move the refrigerator. They first tried moving it with a small dolly which caused 2 dents in a door. Somehow they managed to really tear up the freezer drawer. I paid extra for my 65in TV and they put the “feet” on back ward and it now leans forward. The bottom part of my bedroom side table is missing. So, I hope anyone reading this thinks long and hard before hiring this company. I had to search for the parts to repair the refrigerator and gave cost and part number hoping Joe would order them and put them on. But after a threatening text and part cost discount I finally settled the bill. I’m still left holding the bag on getting my 3 yo refrigerator repaired. I would recommend that you DON’T use this company.

Not many moving companies in the rural areas. I’ve moved the same house whole twice before at half the price in the metroplex. But as a company they are very friendly, professional and punctual.

They packed but I elected to unpack myself. All the work they did was great. They were professional and courteous. They finished under their estimate as well. I would use them again without having to think about it at all.

They were great from beginning to end! All 3 men were very careful with my mothers antiques and no damage in the move! They were prompt for both the quote and actual move. We had to add an extra drop off stop unexpectedly and they were very gracious in accommodating our need. Due to our changes, the move took a little longer but they had no problem staying and finishing the job and always remained courteous. This was my first experience with this moving company, but as a Realtor, I will be referring my clients for sure. Cost was amazingly reasonable!

We had a mix up with some paperwork on our end that resulted in a delay in them being able to drop off our load at our home, and they were so flexible throughout the entire process! 10/10 would recommend using Brazos Movers for your families next move!

I used them to move furniture and household items into storage. They were careless and dented my washer front, scratched an antique mahogany dresser and tore veneer by carrying it with a hand truck. Five minutes in, one of the guys ran his hand truck into my kitchen doorframe and left a dent. They chipped paint and scarred the door and frame into the garage moving things through it. The guy who dented my door frame was vaping something while he was moving my stuff, and I kept finding his vape paraphernalia around my house.Once at the storage unit, they piled heavy oriental rugs on top of lightweight furniture. They put garage and patio things, like a grill, up next to antique furniture. I kept telling the team leader that I would get another unit and that I didnt’t want my furniture crushed under the heavy rugs. He repeatedly told me he could make it all fit. Then later he said I should get an additional storage unit! I felt like I was losing my mind. I called the office, was put on hold 5 minutes by Allison, who told me the owner was out of town. I emailed pictures of the damage to Brazos Movers. No response all week.I have hired other movers to come and reshuffle the mess and hope there isn’t any damage I didn’t witness.I had used Brazos previously without any problems, so I thought they were ok. Huge mistake. Read the other bad reviews for this company before you trust your things to them.

First time to hire movers and was very nervous because stories Ive heard about moving companies quoting one price and demanding another price on delivery . I did setup over the phone and they didnt ask for a deposit and said they will show up on the day requested . It all seemed to easy for this day and time . They were late due to a problem with truck that could not be repaired, but they got another truck and the moved was finished that day . Manny Tafe and Kyler were my movers and these guys were fast very efficient and careful . I felt like we were friends by the end of the move . They will be my first if I need movers again . We called the morning that we needed help and Brazos was able to send a crew that afternoon. We needed help unloading our truck, particularly with an upright piano that had to be taken upstairs. They worked REALLY hard and got the piano and everything else that we needed done in the time allotted!

My husband was having his elderly mom moved from one Assisted Living place to another about 45 min away. Carl, Reylie & Josh arrived on time, took care of dismantling the bed, loaded all furniture & packed boxes carefully into the moving truck. They went to the new facility & set up the bed, furniture and put the boxes into the closet. They waited until he arrived with his mom so that he could sign the paperwork and pay them. They were professional, courteous and reasonably priced. The quote was spot on to the amount he had to pay. My husband had to reschedule the move date twice due to unforeseen circumstances and they were very accommodating. Definitely would use again and recommend to others.

The decision to us Brazos movers was a bad one. We have use less expensive movers in the past and never experienced anything like this. The following sums up our experience. The dryer was dented, all but the coffee table of the out door patio furniture was scratched and #2 boxes labeled glass fragile were sitting upside down with all contents destroyed. To top that off they forgot the bolts to the beds at our old house so no beds were put back together. My wife walked out to the garage during the packing process and half the movers were riding our childrens toys that are rated for 3-7 year olds. Keep in mind these are full grown men riding these toys. It took me 2 weeks and some less than pleasant messages to get a call back from the owner. I received a small check for the damages and was filled in on the $.60 per lbs. coverage they have several times. I am a first time reviewer so do not pass this off as I am a serial review with unreasonable expectations.

These guys are awesome! My husband is in the Army and I needed help getting our POD loaded for our new duty station. They sent 3 guys and were able to get everything loaded for me. I didnt have to lift a finger! They were so professional, and were gentle with our stuff. These guys had amazing spirits! I literally cried after they left because if not for them, I would have been moving all of our stuff on my own. Amazing amazing!!!

We moved the weekend before Christmas and they were awesome! It was a quick and easy move (as easy as moves get). We moved from a 40’ storage unit into the home we have been building and our home was about 2 hours from our unit which was in the Weatherford area. They sent 2 trucks and 5 guys. Each guy was professional and courteous and was fine with me taking the time to figure out where each item went. I would highly recommend this company if you have a move coming up.
