Great experience! Called to schedule a diagnostic of what I thought was a transmission fluid leak and they said they could see me the following week. Dropped it off a week early after a horrible experience at AAMCO. They got to my car way ahead of schedule and told me exactly what was causing the leak without any drama or fear tactics employed. Will use again for any future transmission work!

Refused to even hook my car up for a diagnostic. Had an appointment several days out and they called back and canceled. Said they had 5 other cars to work on and that hooking it up to a scanner would take to long. They told me all it was gonna do is lead to more work. I told them I didnt want more work that I just wanted a diagnostic and they flat out refused and told me once again that it simply would just take to long to hook a computer up to it. Very rude and unprofessional people.

These folks are impressive. Solid on their warranty work. They did a rebuild for me last August and it had some new issues last week. I was in and out with no charge. I love it when people stand behind their work.

Had shepherds do a bench rebuild on a c4 transmission for me and finally took the car for a drive today and all I can say is wow. I did not have to adjust anything and it shifts perfect! If you need any kind of transmission work I highly recommend shepherds!

Dave and his techs (especially Clarence) did an excellent job on rebuilding my transmission and repairing some serious oil leaks on my old Yukon.They got me a great deal on the oil leak repair, and were patient and courteous explaining things when I had any questions. You can definitely tell Dave really cares about making sure each customer is taken care of right.Its hard to beat a quality, long-time family business, and Shepherd is a great example.

I gave David and his guys an impossible task. An extremely intermittent electrical glitch that was causing negative affects on the drive train.As with all previous experiences with Shepherd transmission service, I am beyond pleased. David and his technicians systematically worked the problem out and did not just throw parts at it hoping the problem would go away .I would highly recommend and trust David and his guys to work on anything.

I asked them to rebuild my transmission on my Toyota Celica as it is a turbo car they refused to touch it and wouldnt even give me a chance on the phone

I called Shepherd based off of a recommendation from a friend. I am glad that I did. I did price shop still and found their prices to be inline with a reputable establishment that offers a warranty. Having a transmission rebuilt is a big ticket item to get done, and I wanted someone I felt is honest and trustworthy, I found that at Shepherd Transmission. The work was quality and price was fair I will use them if I ever have transmission needs again.

I had my truck transmission replaced at Shepherd and I had a really good experience. They were easy to do business with and very knowledgeable.

Needed a transmission flush and my yearly (25,000 mile) oil change. I had called every shop under the sun asking if they would put my pure synthetic Amsoil 5w-30 engine oil and transmission fluid that I’ve been using for 20 years in my f-150. Everybody wanted to use their own oil....presumably so they can charge a premium on it.... I finally called Shepherd Transmission, and they did the job with my oil for a reasonable price, did the job well, and earned my repeat business. Well done guys!

Well Dave was wrestling with a cow and broke his arm but Nolan got it done great guys would let them work on my stuff over anyone and they will truely stand behind their work.

Will not return! Truck was a mess! Transmission doesnt work properly, grease on everything, parts missing, and new oil leak that just showed up the day I picked it up. All for the low price of 1200.00
