My parents drove 30 minutes to the Weslaco Home Depot yesterday to buy this tiller (I guess they only had them in stock in Weslaco), only to find out that the machine was completely broken and rusted once they opened the package. Both of them are pretty old and cant really lift this 200 pound machine back in the car to return it. When calling Home Depot customer service to see if they can have another one shipped to the Mission Home Depot to exchange, they were extremely dismissive and said they can give back 70 dollars as compensation. They refused to help handle the situation as it is a liability to the employees. Not only will they not exchange this, they are unwilling to bring in another tiller to a closer location so we will have to drive another 30 minutes to return this item.

Man I love Home Depot but the service sucks. I always have to be looking for someone to help or answer a few questions. You have to approach them and then they tell you they are not from that department. If they could improve on the customer service it would be the best.

Great place to buy wood and remodeling items.Good Prices..but sirs you need more help ....I see young people working there that ask if they can help...seems like your Managers cater only to big contractors..

I went for a part to a Kenmore washer that broke. Someone there was very helpful. Unfortunately I did not get his name.

Worst shopping experience I have had. Employees either didnt know how to get the information I needed or were unwilling to do it. Regardless, I had to call the distribution center myself in order to track down my order and get a delivery date and time. Even after I did this they were still telling me that my merchandise was not in and I had to tell them it had already been delivered. Home depot really needs to do a better job training their workers. Not sure if I will ever go back to this store.

Very clean and well stocked I like that the carts and carry ons were all nicely lined up in front of the store, I usually have to walk a distance in the parking lot to hunt one down. I found everything I needed with ease. I had a large item I was able to cart in through self check out with no problem even with plastic barriers for virus protection. Helpful staff handed me pamphlet for warranty on my water heater as I exited and shared how to register my item. Store was on point today and staff went above and beyond. I will definitely visit more often good job Weslaco, Texas team 👏

Just to be on the same page. Home depot is here as a business and does not have certified electricians, plumbers, or carpenters, working the departments... they just sell the stuff.

Super good service by the kid that was over in the weed whacker area. The only reason for the 4 star was that they have an item posted online & once we drove from a few towns away,they did not have it & the 1 showing in their system was a display. They need to make sure the count is correct NOT INCLUDING display.

Always find what Im looking for. This is my place to go when I have a project on mind. The only reason I dont give the 5 star is customer service. I do understand they want to give teens an opportunity to have a job. For the same reason you all should train your new hires. They dont have manners at all and its just hard to deal with them.

A few years ago associates were very polite and friendly, now you can even feel like they hide from you so you dont ask for help. When you ask for assistance they take a long long time to show up.

Good, but primary reason for visiting was paint color matching, which the machine was inoperable. Paint person did drop a few drops of paint as instructed. Cashiers in front (Veronica, helpers Roni and Bertha were their helpful in my other purchases.

Lady at customer service was of great help...got me the associate to help out with what I was looking for. Emilio got my items and brought it up to the desk area.

I called to get pricing and availability to material was transferred 5 times and no one anwered my calls...so i decided to hang up after 30 min. Operator was great in transferring calls but i still didnt get the answer to pricing and availabily to material. This is how you loose customers so i decided to call Lowes questions were answered promptly and now im on my way to pick up my product.

This Home Depot has always had great customer service. I have bought most of my kitchen appliances, my floor tiles and always buy home needed items like bulbs, gardening and cleaning supplies here. I have also rented their equipment from their equipment rental department. Great customer services all around. Due to covid-19 spikes, they practice social distancing and sanitize their carts and self check out cash registers after every use. It would be great if hand sanitize was places at every entrance and exit doors. Great service how depot. Keep it up!

Well supplied. We found what we were looking for. Robi days has tool that are hard to find. Associate helped find what we wanted.

They had what i needed and they have many items for painting cleaning securing and many more.

As usual finding a employee that knew anything was impossible. Also didnt have what I was looking for.

We went in to buy a lawnmower and their website said they had 25 in stock. We waited almost 45 minutes and apparently they were on a pallet in lumber and someone went to get it. Well no one ever came. We asked and nothing the manager tells us go to customer service so we do and then we finally see the young lady who was helping us and she says I was trying to get a hold of Al.45 minutes and nobody could help. Worse customer service ever.

I come to this Home Depot pretty often. Staff is always helpful when I ask for their assistance.....today however, I was looking for an item and an associate made contact with me and asked “Are you needing help with something?” Wow, that’s never happened before...I showed her a pic of what I wanted and she found it for me...I walked away and she waved me down and said she needed to verify whether it not she gave me the right ones... she’s looked at something specific and found me the right ones.... awesome work Catalina!!!Also a shoutout to Erica in customer service...I told her I needed to get a refund for a warranty I didn’t need to buy....she checked my receipt and it had been a month since I purchased the item. One of her co-workers said “nope, I think it’s only seven days”. I knew I had till July because the receipt tells you the date. Erica went ahead and checked with, I’m assuming her supervisor, and my account was credited...I told Erica that the receipt gave me a date and she said “yes, I read that”.... thank you Erica for verifying things for yourself....keep up the good work!!

Picking up a big pot and potting soil.

Found most of the items that I needed. My only negative take back was that I needed assistance with my big item purchase and the attendant didnt seem to be too happy about helping me. The call for assistance was done on two separate times and when he did show up he stood around for a bit before coming over to help me.

Prices have gone crazy high, and its really had and not even possible to buy what is really needed for the house .... that supply and demand rule is BS ..... we need a 200 % increase 8n our checks . Just like the 200% increase on all materials!!!!!

I went in and rented a boom for a couple of hours well it lead to 4 hours! Due to the machine was not fully charged and the gentleman who helped us started ut had been charged all night. Well when we returned it another guy stated oh no that machine was just returned that morning. Really? And of course they charged us full price. Guy wanted us to keep machine longer for the mishap. . . Fir what? We had so much issues from the get go

Always a long line for paint. They need to get more help in that area.

It is a busy store. Just went there for some cement. Yall people got to watch out for others as they have no respect or consideration and may be lazy because they dont want to walk all the way outside to grab a cart it seems much easier to take yours when youre not looking and they will take your cart behind your back. Again when I say others I mean other customers. I lost over 5 minutes to go get another cart. Smh. But other than that the store service is good and friendly.

Just left Home Depot Weslaco after waiting for sales associate for 20 minutes and paging twice. Sad part is this is the 5th attempt at trying to purchase a washer and dryer and no one comes to help out, going to try Best Buy instead.

Good service and most of the employees are very knowledgeable. The only improvement would be to find an easier way to get some help, it seems that most of the time we have to hunt down for an employee for help.

We went looking for a microwave and when we told them the one that we wanted they said they dont sell it anymore and that they didnt have any in stock. Same thing happened a month ago when we wanted a stove and the one we wanted they said the same thing. And then they told us to wait that they were going to see if they could find us one in another store and the guy went to sit down and talk to one of his coworkers he wasnt even trying to help us. What I dont understand is if they dont sell the appliance anymore then why are they still in display?

Home Depot was a very good experience I had a young man by the name of Noe Aguilera help me he happened to be a master of several departments cuz we went from regular plumbing information to woodwork to tile and he was able to answer all my questions very professional and I was really surprised when he told me he was just a part-time employee but hes very knowledgeable and I look forward to going back and he made it a very enjoyable experience.

Went over to buy a 12in double bevel sliding dewalt miter saw. They did not have any on display and none in stock. We went and bought it at lowes, even though is farther from home. I was impressed with the selection and displays at lowes. Also I got it for 150.00 less. I was willing to pay the home depot price if they had it on display or in stock. Im glad i went to lowes and saved some money.

Had a lot of electric carts that were not running. Store is too big for me. I am disabled and I had a hard time because only 2 out of 6 carts were working. Store personnel didnt seems too concerned with this.

Home Depot in Weslaco just not the place to go.... Employees are not trained to cut blinds lol I thought that was very ridiculous after almost 1 hour of waiting.... No employees through out the store other than cashiers. And cashier were too busy talking to one another about personal lifes

Needed assistance with tile in flooring dept & after asking an employee for help & waiting 25 minutes, she didnt help. All other employees dont offer help in that department. I was completely ignored. Very disappointed! I called asking to speak to a manager but the manager never answered the phone. I waited 15 minutes without successfully speaking to a manager.

Too crowded. In line 3 different times! They could not find an item the online app said they had. As nice and courteous as they were, they just couldnt get there act togethet.

Management from home depot should send all their employees including themselves on how to answer the incoming calls. They just put the caller on hold with no word or no notice and never pick up again. Very unprofessional and VERY RUDE !!!

Plants were left in carts pilledup and unkept. Top soil bags were torn and there was dirt everywhere. Garden section needs more care and attention but over all the store is great.

Home Depot is place all Veterans should go and they always have all the niche items too, friendly staff that goes out of there way to help the customers.

I went into the store today worried I wasn’t going to be able to find what I was looking for thankfully a worker by the name Omar was very helpful he knew what to give me he helped me by explaining what every object was I was so happy I don’t think if Omar was there to help I wouldn’t have found what was needed awesome worker and very helpful!

I was assisted by 2 employees who brought my order to my car then helped load it in the car. They were most helpful.

Home Depot is one of the best places to get building materials for whatever project you may have, but when it comes to customer service, it sucks beyond having to wait at the emergency room. The worker there dont want to be bothered by the customers. Which is weird cause its the customers purchases that help pay their salaries. What? If you make a trip to Home Depot to make a purchase, you better be very knowledgeable about what youre gonna buy cause the employees sure arent.

Terrible service, I almost hate this place, and I love Home Depot but not this place. Asked for help 4 times in electrical and nobody even cares. Employees just shuffle it to somebody else.

Although 1 out of...maybe 5 employees I asked for help, actually tried his best to get a department employee to help. That help didnt come. 35 minutes later waiting for the employee to show up, I ask for a manager and they instead help me. The manager was very helpful and got me the 1 part I needed. Sad to say, the other employees were not helpful. Shrugging off the usual reason, I dont know that department it was a bad experience.

Skilled labor has improved a lot in the last couple of centuries, lets keep going that way. More free state hands on skilled labor programs all over US. great selection in store. More robot made items with taxes for robots to pay for taking our laborious tasks would improve consumer goods here.

I did find my items but the cashier was real rude and did not have any customer service i did get with a manager and hope that he did talk to her about her attitude if she dont like her job there is more to choose from its not our fault the customer that she is having a bad day
