This is of my favorite grocery store to shop. It is always clean, well lit, offers a wide variety of different brands and the price range is very affordable. I also love the rewards program. You can redeemed for cash off your basket, or use the points for gas. I got 40 cents off the gallon and the guy said you have some cash to get back too. It was my lucky day. I will miss the A+ Rewards program for schools but I fully understand the reason. Love this store.

Great Stop & Shop. I like this particular store more than the others, their Flower section and the flowers themselves are far better than the other markets. I found a they had a really good selection of different colored roses alone. They easily rivaled flower shops. Other than that that way I was nice, clean store and helpful staff

Its a well maintained store with a good selection and a range of pricing (some good deals some higher prices).My biggest complaint is they never seem to have frozen chocolate chip pancakes in stock where every other frozen breakfast item is well stocked. Seems like they should double their regular delivery as it is clearly a big seller.

I am not big on leaving reviews and usually take it as it is when shopping, especially right now during COVID when it is sometimes hard to get items. I have been shopping’s store 543, west babylon for over 10 years. Everyone is super nice and never had any issues. Lately though over the last 6 months I find the shelves are never stocked and always empty. Simple things like juices boxes, cream cheese, peanut butter, yogurt, oj are always out of stock. I’ve gone at different times of the day and on different days of the week and it doesn’t matter it’s always the same. It’s very frustrating and I don’t quite understand why. Also just as a note I am not a picky shopper and many times will opt for the store brand if the name brand is not available. However lately it’s been across the board. I don’t want to shop at another grocery as this is my local however I may have to going forward.Please restock your items. Especially now with kids being back in school.

One if the nicest stores to shop in, the staff is usually pleasant and well trained. I took a star off because this chain doesnt have uniformed pricing. I have been in thus store on 109 and stopped at the Bayshore store on the way to the beach, and found the same items in Bayshore to be more expensive. This is most likely do to the fact that they deliver to the Fire Island summer homes.In general they are more expensive than the other chain stores, so you must know your prices. When they have a sale it is usually awesome. Overall a good place to shop.

There wasnt a line to get into the store, but there was a very long line to check out. We were surprised by how quickly it moved & our wait time was maybe 10 minutes. Go with a freezer bag to put your icecream in while waiting in line & youll be fine.

Found great hot food barque chicken, chips and macaroni salad along with Powerade drinks and homemade chocolate chip cookies. I can all good food at Stop & Shop

Just ok. They do have decent sales & prices in general. I like their go rewards program. What I really dislike is their lack of stock. Especially when they dont have sale items. I sometimes have to go to 2 & 3 stores. Occasionally even after that dont get what I want. This store seems the be the worst.

We love this store. We’re new to the area and the employees are all really nice and the place is pretty clean. The bakery is delicious! We ordered our sons birthday cake from here and it got rave reviews (cookies and cream filled)

For a store that is asking customers to social distance, your employees do not even attempt to do so, nor do they move out of their social cluster to let customers pass. Disgusting experience. Will not return.

I stood online at the deli department for 35 minutes before my order was taken, there were two people behind the counter a teenage boy and an older man both of them moving slow as they possibly could and in the 35 minutes that I waited they only helped eight other customers, with small orders, beside myself and then made a few other people wait while they took an order for a woman who missed her number being called over a dozen times because she was watching a movie on her tablet while standing in line.

Store is clean, well organized. Employees are super pleasant. Keep it up stop and shop! (And I might start going here instead of shop rite down the block lol)$$

Very nice store very nice people

Very expensive, no selection, dont like to shop there but have no choice after ShopRite in West Babylon is closed.

Got plenty of help while shopping but customer service was so so. I left my bag there and when I went up the first time the person behind the counter said they didnt have it. I come back 5 minutes later and the manager there says they do. Between my two visits I canceled my debit card to make sure nobody used it and I had to take even more time out of my day because the associate couldnt make a little more effort in looking for my stuff.

Open later than Shoprite will be getting more of my grocery shopping.

I wish the scanners would work again. From what I was told, the system has been down. I think Stop and Shop dont want consumers to use them. No system is down this long. Using the scanners make food shopping a lot easier. I do like that Stop and Shop carries Taylor Ham. You cant find it around here. It is a New Jersey thing for the most part.

Older woman w/ blonde hair register near the check out on June 2 at 8ish in the morning she was annoying and didnt know how to mind her business and I wouldve usually cursed her out but shes older and it wasnt necessary however the woman at the check out is usually pleasant but she was going along with her I come to this stop and shop usually have a pleasant buy in and out next time Ill have words !

Placed a deli order for a cold cut platter and salads, not for a new years e e celebration, but to feed a houseful of people taking family photos. Placed the order 4 days ago, uneventful. Called the store this morning to see if order was ready, uneventful. As a matter of fact, the young lady that answered the phone said oh I just finished, come anytime to get it. Drive to store, ask for order...eventful. long story short, no order.Then we are told we are in the wrong store, when I show my caller id and it is this store I am told no woman works in the deli dept. 2 walk right behind him (I believe his name is David). He tells us that there are 2 stop and shops in West Babylon. That is true, but unless the other store is using this stores phone number, as it shows in my phone, for both placing the order and verifying it, the order should be here.Being told, sorry check West Babylon and West Islip, was there way of ending this conversation. I go up front to speak to customer service, 20 minutes of my life I will never get back, ends the same way. Not once did any of the 3 managers offer to fix this problem. It was only after we told the we want it done and done now, did they say they would. If I didnt have 15 people in my house, I would have left, never to give stop and shop a penny of my money ever again. Im only giving 1 star because an hour and a half later I finally got my platter. Sigh...happy New Year.

Everyone there was So helpful to To me and at the courtesy counter and the management was so incredibly helpful they went out of their way in every Way to help me with any of my store needs As a shopper Im totally pleased to shop at the store I happen to love shopping at the store the bakery department people are incredibly wonderful the deli department to produce the talking and people wonder Ful the cashiers are fantastic The meat apartment people of fantastic I can just say that everyone at that store in West Babylon Stop & Shop are amazing bunch of people you have a working there its my very favorite store to shop that I think having such a wonderful staff like that truly deserve promotions and raises to all of them they are amazing you got a wonderful crew there !

My shopping center closed and I hadnt been in this store in a few years, it was well stocked,clean,but the prices are still to high. This will make shoppers go elsewhere. With this pandemic all prices are up.

I worked for stop and shop for 15 years. Unfortunately I was let go because the store manager didnt like me and found every excuse to get rid of me. But other then that an amazing company.

I lived around the corner when i lived in west babylon from this super food store.....never had a problem getting fresh meats,dairy,deli cuts,or dry goods...the turn over was so fast because of the convenient location that everyone from the neighborhood and then some shopped here...and it was open late in the evening on the weekends which made it very helpful....the weekly specials were great ....no coupon needed just swipe your stop& shop card and you automatically got the sale price......great store...miss it!!!

Availability of product is poor. Their Stop and Shop scan App works intermittently. When it works it is convenient otherwise there are no knowledgeable employees as to the operation or failure there of within the store. Parking availability no problem.

Still trying to find all the shopping items since they upgraded the store. What happen to the low sodium goya items especially the boullion. Employee said the store does not stock it anymore. Cant figure that out since the store is always been good on supplying healthy items.

Very nice, open late which is great because I get out of work after 10pm

I went to use western union and encountered the rudest people I have ever seen. They said they could not process process my transaction, but did not want to give me reason for it saying everything on this computer is secret. I decided to leave rather than wasting time with these childish idiots. They seemed happy when I was leaving as they have one less transaction to process today. Went to the West Islip location and was done in one minute.

Hate the new layout. Cant find anything, they no longer carry a lot of things that I used to be able to buy there, and the shelves are now too high, cant reach anything.

I don’t normally post reviews, but I am absolutely floored by the quality that the cashiers have been able to provide me in my two visits here!! My first visit was by a boy named Chris with blonde hair and blue eyes. Excellent service!! Was so friendly and so happy!! We had a great conversation and he really brightened my day when I needed it!! My next visit was with a girl named Gisselle, who was just as friendly she had blue eyes too and a pony tail. She seemed so mature and was so well mannered. Whatever these cashiers are being paid they deserve a raise and much more !!! Thank you Stop& Shop!!!! Will visit often.

Great prices and everything always fresh

The food is pretty fresh. However, it is very expensive and their really isnt any social distancing even though they have the markings. Its always too crowded for my liking. The really funny, if not crazy thing is, a lot of the patrons reminds me of the people dressed really scantily if not downright weird and disturbing at the Walmarts that you see on Facebook, Lol. Very interesting indeed.

This particular Stop & Shop does a wonderful job of displaying food in a visually appealing manner. The vegetable dept. is inviting and well stocked as is the bakery, dairy and meat department. The store is clean but busy yet I was able to check out in a reasonable amount of time and the cashier was efficient but friendly.

James in produce, debbie, norma and iris on register are all fantastic. They always take the time to show they care and work hard everyday! Even in a pandemic, they always take a moment to check in. Im not a person who loves in store grocery shopping, but with limited access to reasonable delivery times Ive gone back to in store shopping and they truly make my experience better. My son actually cries because he cant visit his buddy James at stop and shop!

Disappointed in the overall shopping experience. Things seemed messy and disorganized. Lighting was not very bright. Fresh produce choices were not worth the high prices posted. Maybe another Stop and Shop is an alternative, but given the high prices vs competitors nearby, I will stick with the competitors.

I love this store Im very familiar with the layout so I can get in and out very quickly. they have one-way Isles and social distancing at the registers as well as plexiglass Shields between the cashiers and the patrons.

Good experience at Deli. Asked for meat and cheese to be cut in special way and Deli person did it to perfectionFrozen section needs more inventory as well as bread section. Reduced inventory is not too encouraging for shopper..but understand small profit margin and some need to reduce inventory.

The store itself is great but the management is absolutely the worst. A little over a week ago I was leaving the parking lot when another vehicle clipped the front of my car and kept going I immediately spoke with the manager as well as filed a police report. Ever since the next day I have been going back and forth with the GM trying to find out information on the other vehicle that hit me and each time his story changes from they don’t have any information to he can’t give me anything it’s the companies policy. And all I want is the proper information so I can move forward with having my car repaired through the appropriate party.

This Supermarket was a great Supermarket. Until, they decided to upgrade everything. The upgrade looks great but because of it prices have skyrocketed and I dont come to Stop & Shop like I used to because the prices are too crazy now.

Scan it is rarely working. Employees stand in middle of aisle while restocking and give attitude when you ask to get around them. Over 8 years of coming to same store and have now started to go to a different one.

I would like to pls acknowledge Monica in your floral dept in the stop and shop on 109 in West Babylon.....first she is the sweetest person always right there to help her customers however she can....she does beautiful arrangements and I think she is very talented and takes such pride in her department and the work she does....i come to Monica if I need any floral needs ....she is a 5 Star plus...tysm for her !

Good shopping experience at this store, they always have manager sales on meats and perishables. The store is always clean and well staffed. The bakery department is pretty large for a supermarket.

The lines were long and the help at the self was sadly inefficient. The Seafood Counter personal was the best! He was friendly, patient and helpful. His service is the only reason why I will come back to shop at the store. The front end check out process was horrendous; to include the staff that was supposed to help the line move began to argue with the customers in line.

So much to offer in this store! I was quite happy with all the choices! The produce department is especially nice.

Frustrating! I use the gun, should be able to scan and go, but NO, the coupons kept scanning $0. Had to get assistance, and after the second time she was not happy. Then she tried telling me the price was already adjusted. Telling me 3.59 - 1.09 =1.99. I told her it was $2.50 & the coupon said $1.99. I know its not alot of money, but thats not the point, its my money!Thanks, I feel better venting 😊

Love there late hours

For the most part its a good store. It is clean. The Starbucks inside is okay, you arent getting the same kind of attention to detail you get at a real stand alone Starbucks. Produce is usually good. The butcher department has a good selection. The deli department is awful. The staff is over worked. I feel bad for them. The slicers are dull so you end up with shredded cold cuts.

Loyal customer for 13 years. Spent thousands of dollars here. Last few years noticed its been going downhill. Rude cashiers, slowest deli ever, except one young guy, so nice and fast. never enough registers open....long lines while managers stand around. I ve had to ask, can you please open another register when its blatantly obvious! Guns that stop working and you have to unload and get everything re rung not even an Im sorry from the cashiers! The quarantine was the last straw...empty shelves for weeks when other stores have not only restocked numerous times but never were empty for more than a day or two. bye bye stop n shop.

My favorite supermarketEdit: confirmed officially after shopping other local stop n shop stores and competition. This layout, size, and pricing makes the most logical and efficient shopping trip. I try not to be biased because Im familiar with this store; theyve recently changed and upgraded which put the experience at an even level with stores I dont frequently shop at. I still found the ease of navigating aisles better and room to move with a cart less frustrating during busy hours.
