I seen some bad reviews for this location, but decided to try it out myself and cant believe these reviews on here 🤦‍♀️ this is one of the better Flying Js Ive been to. The shower was small, but there was great water pressure and there was plenty of hot water, the employees were very friendly and helpful, I asked for an extra set of towels and the employee didnt hesitate to help me out with manners, I had an offer on my Flying J/Pilot app for buy a 16oz. Monster (any flavor) and get one 16oz. Monster (any flavor) for $1, I saved this offer on my app but every time I tried to use it with my card it wouldnt go through, needless to say, I tried it again (it expires today) and Willie was so patient and got another employee to help is figure out why it wasnt working, and she couldnt figure it out either but was sure that I received the offer. Oh, and the spicy wings were on key!

The showers clean, but the Denny’s is close, someone told me there were no people to work 🤐🤐 the rest is good

On Thur night, Sept 16, 2021Trucker hubby was almost out of time and parked here at FLYING J, Exit 4 off of I-55 in Memphis, TN.He said the food at Dennys was good and he was happy to have a nice meal.The bathrooms were pretty good. Seen better, but also seen worse...*However, he says DO NOT PARK AT THIS LOCATION IF YOU WANT TO GET ANY REST/SLEEP! He got a good close parking spot, but there was almost a constant flow of people knocking on his truck door with one story after another ASKING FOR MONEY...EVEN FOR ANY CHANGE!It got beyond ridiculous! 🙄Dont get me, or him wrong. We know things happen on the road and unexpected issues arise. But you dont go banging on a truckers door at ALL HOURS OF THE NIGHT, knowing hes asleep, waking him up and asking for money!Some people just have no common sense or any human decency any more! Like I said before, it was just beyond ridiculous!On Fri, Sept 17, 2021He went inside the store this morning and while he was in there mentioned it to the manager, who happened to be there around 6:30-7am shift change...He even suggested they needed to get some kind of Security or even ask the Police to drive thru and keep an eye on things during the night, to run off the beggars.I asked him what she said...and he said she didnt say anything. She just stared at him with her mouth hanging open like she was either really surprised or just stupid! Really?So...I doubt she will try to do anything about fixing this major issue.Now as we all know, a Truckers rest/sleep is a major priority and this problem should be taken seriously! The Owner needs to do something...Needless to say...hubby said he will never stop at this particular Flying J again!

05/15/2021 Pros: Hot showers. I didn’t eat here but the food looks good. Did do laundry, small room but I’m glad they have it. Morning shift customer service was how it’s supposed to be.Cons: customer service during the evening shift to late night was trash! I would have given 5 stars.

The freestanding RV gas/diesel pumps are always a welcomed sight when you haul a 40+ foot motor coach.

Too bad they dont have a minus star. Shower was disgusting. Toe clippings all on ground. Just completely disgusting. Customer service is also in the minus. Completely rude. Whole staff needs to be fired. All the Flying J I go to this is the worst. Rest of J truck stops a bit slow at register but I give most a 3.5 to a 4 out of 5

Stopped here tonight to use their RV dump station. Very clean bathrooms and store. Their dump station was perfect for what we needed. $10 to dump, $7.50 if youre a Good Sam member. They also had buckets of good clean window cleaning solution which was a bonus because we had stopped 15 minutes before somewhere else and it was horrible! Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was because there was very little hot food. There was also tons of cereal and breakfast foods but no milk, except a few bottles of chocolate! Will still be back again!

Shower fan doesnt work, the cord is broken.. There were a total of 3 large bugs in my Shower room. You guys need to do better.

Ive stopped here more time then I should have. Im done with this location. The bathrooms were disgusting, there was no hot food and definitely no good customers service. After waiting at the register where there was a sign that said, If Im not here then Im cleaning the bathrooms! 🤣 Someone finally came up scanned my drink put it in a bag and tossed it on the counter where it then rolled fast to my side and I had to catch it so it wouldnt fall off. I paid with my card and ask for a receipt twice. NOT ONE WORD WAS SAID TO ME THE WHOLE TIME! Like I said Im done with this location.

Beyond satisfied with how professional this FlyingJ is run and staffed.The store and facilities show a lot of traffic and use and everything seems to run like clockwork.I had reason to bring an issue of safety in the parking lot, (exposed rebar on a concrete parking bumper) to Noel, the manager)s attention. Fully expecting him to take down a note about it and address it in due course, but Noel addressed it right then .During our conversation he got on the radio and called a talented fellow by the name of Reginald, who met him in the parking lot.Reginald and he discussed it and off he went to get tools to fix the hazard.By proof of the pictures, Reggie totally took care of it.How in the world could anyone improve on that type of action/reaction?Nice store, and I hope FlyingJ corporate knows what they have out here at 3400 service loop rd in west memphis!Thank you Noel, Reginald, and Crew!

I have a service animal, the guard was rude when I was inside the store. Also super picky on parking more so than many other places I have been to. Maybe just a over active guard tonight?

If you plan on parking here for the night, make sure you put a lock on your trailer, thieves will break your seal while you sleep

Not the best Flying J Ive been in. Its dirty and the service is not the best. If your looking to do a long stop and rest this is not the place to go. Inside you can find a Dennys in which the service is not the best at all. So next time your looking for a stop, think to look alittle further down the road to a better cleaner stop, I dont recommend these place.

Dont go to the Dennys.. My friend and I walked in the manager literally tossed the menus on the counter and said seat yourself and walked off. We sat down asked for drinks the lemonade and sweet tea tasted like syrup. The servers took forever to take our order. I ordered the bourbon burger with seasoned fries. My bottom bun was soggy from all the cooking oil used and my fries tasted like fish, My friend ordered the chicken fried chicken with mash potatoes, white gravy and broccoli.. The chicken was burnt and the whole plate was drowned in gravy... Horrible experience I will never go back there..

Service was horrible. My family and I stopped there put in a order for wings with the manager walked around the store for 15 plus minutes as we wait for the wings to get finished, walked back to the register to check out to find out no one put our order in, now mind you it had 5 staff behind the counter. Prepaid for gas after we didn’t get any wings and no one turned the pumps on went in to store twice still didn’t turn them on. Horrible customer service. From the manager and she preceded to say they won’t eat today, my head hurts and I don’t want to be here. Ok? So way are you.?

No hot food available for drivers. Very disappointed as we dont work bankers hours..so I ended up going into the Dennys and received terrible service with very few patrons and 3 waitresses who were to busy flirting with guy at the cash register for a lengthy amount of time and not attending customers needs....management needs to step it up, this is not acceptable.

I reserved a prime parking space and no parking was available when i arrived.

I hate coming to this location, they never have any hot food for night drivers. The restaurant was closed, the hot deli was closed, the hotdogs grill was off. Asked if I could get a whole pizza, was told that the kitchen was closed. Do no eating tonight. I will never recommend this location to anyone. And if I could have given zero stars that would still have been too many. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME COMING TO THIS LOCATION, NO ONE CARES ABOUT ANYTHING HERE.

One the worst truck stin the country horrible employees. You will never walk out with anything your money worth. Nothing quality but high priced. Including Dennys. They charge you even for sink water. No consideration for time youll wait long for a check out for no reason. This place would go out business if it wasnt for truckers spending and theyre abusive to us.

Pilot and Flying J are a quick convienant place to stop if you are a company driver. Overpriced fuel and banking .01 cents a gallon in points on diesel is a great way to punish your employer and bank a free Big Mac at the same time. Dont forget to park at the fuel pumps for a half hour while grabbing your food and taking your 30 minute break, its awesome watching my 14 hour clock count down as I watch you pull your 300lbs and your bag of burgers back into your truck.

I had to clean the shower before I could use it. Always out of coffee. Bathrooms are some of the worst Ive been in. These photos were before I cleaned the shower room. After the employee(s) cleaned it. DO BETTER PILOT/FLYING J!!!

I have say this, if it wasnt for Flying J Corp Dennys wouldnt be here. This time when you order food to go, it should be provided with the utmost respect to the customer: providing us with utensils, napkins, jam for the toast, most all when ordering your appetizers your supposed to get your dipping sauce!! I never had this problem before every time I stop here. It just like there wasnt any smiles at this location.

We stopped for gas & something to eat. We have been sitting here for approximately a half an hour and still have not received our food. Food finally came but we have no silverware. 6 waitresses and most were sitting and or on their phones. All of a sudden they are all up and moving, cleaning, filling. You guessed it the manager came in. Dont get me started on the disrespect that was shown to the manager. I would have fired at least 2 on the spot.

Dont stop here keep going. .... restaurant closes early, I paid for parking the parking spot I was supposed to get had an over sized load parked in the. The cashier walked off at 1042 and said the next cash will be in at 11 leaving no one at the register overall horrible experience I hate I even got fuel from here.

Bad food all around. Dennys served me raw chicken and raw potatoes. The PFJ counter food was old and cold. Service was poor at both places. PFJ server had my to-go bag sitting in the macaroni pot while she was putting the food in it. Shower was normal for PFJ.

Dennys closed 30 minutes early and nothing else to eat! They didnt even have creamer for the coffee! Hope fuel is all you need. Good place for a truck stop!

Very rude service, it would be better to clean the coffee area and prepare hot, FRESH food, stop spoiling the mood of the drivers in the morning

The waitress Jessica was wonderful I didnt have to ask for anything.It was as if she knew exactly what I needed.Melissa M has great personality and makes the guests feel welcomed.My food great and the cook needs to be applauded.Thanks again for the service and the good food.I will stop again when I am near by.

Worst service and very rude employees

My husband had lost his wallet here by mistakenly leaving it behind in the shower. The next day we realized it was missing. The porter on duty that day turned it into the front desk as soon as he’d found it. The porter, along with the cashiers were all very friendly and courteous. Good customer service goes a long way! We appreciate the honesty, truly :)

Asked for a shower they said they didn’t have enough people to clean the showers so I went and ate at Denny’s I came back and there was three people sitting behind the counter playing on their cell phone I asked them if they had a shower available they said no more showers we don’t have anybody to clean them I said why don’t you clean them they said why don’t you clean them I said that’s not my job and they said that’s not my job either two black girls one white girl. 8:50pm 1-11-21

Staff at fuel desk and store are very nice, no problems there, but Denny’s was a joke, of course I ordered take out, and when I got back to the truck it was definitely not what I ordered it was supposed to be a bacon cheeseburger but whatever it was it was just tossed into the take out box, it was a mess, the fries were stale, the bun was completely soaked The only thing salvageable was the piece of meat which I wound up cooking in my lunchbox cooker a total waste of 15:00 dollars, you may think it’s just a burger but us drivers who happen to be trying to keep our economy going, deserve a little better from these truck stops, definitely won’t eat there again!

Waitress needs a smile on her face. Cleanliness is of the essence. My first amazing on the road truck driving experience with my husband in which Flying Js are known for cleanliness but this one needs improvement. I noticed hair on the table, hair to my food and a bug running off of my table.

I love using Pilot/Flying J, they always have great rewards program, open 24/7, clean washrooms at most of them. They usually have a Dennys attached and free wifi. They also have free air pumps and RV dump at some locations. They have RV sites for parking as well at a lot of locations. They have an awesome app, just a great place!

DO NOT EAT AT THE DENNYS! Unless you like service like this. No greeting, you will only see your waitress 3 times. 1 to eventually take your order. 2 to drop off your food. 3 to drop your ticket and walk away. If that is your idea of service. Then dennys is 4 U!

Pump 27s pump 1 is prohibited. Lost 5 minutes there. I really hate how you cant cancel a currently fueling transaction on mobile if Im not able to fuel after entering the code. Not the worst place Ive been to and certainly not the best. Bathrooms were not as clean as some other truck stops Ive been to, but considering its humid here its understandable. I love my privacy and the doors on the restroom was perfect for that. Friendly staff as well.

Place smells like a busted sewer line, been waiting for a shower almost 30 minutes just to find out theyre empty but nobody has cleaned any of them yet, staff is loud, rude, and very unprofessional. Definitely not planning on coming back anytime soon

We routinely travel the country multiple times per year especially I-55, Hwy 7, 13, and 65 through Arkansas and Missouri and I-29. We try to always stop at Pilot/Flying J as they usually have clean facilities, well lit and decent staff. However, aside from the staff being friendly this location doesnt have much going for them. Its ALWAYS dirty and not very well lit at night. Today the 1 and only stall in the mens room was overflowing and looked like it had been that way for hours. Ill consider going to loves a block down from here on out.

Eddie in showers was friendly and helpful. Food was old. Only J ive been to that keeps food out for sale Up to 4hrs. All others switch out within couple hour. Dennys slow and unfriendly. Never got food from this location. Eat B4U get here unless times not a factor.

Found plenty of parking even though I reserved a spot in advance. Shower was small but the water temp was great. Gave them 4 * mainly because the evening manager Jordan really took the time to help me find a bar b q restaurant while doing several other things that kept popping up. Honestly, very impressed

I drive a 32-ft Class A motorhome, and typically try to stop at Flying J or Pilot for gas. Ive learned that while they are owned and operated by the same company, the Flying Js tend to have dedicated gas pumps for RVs. These are easier to pull in and out of than the regular gas pumps, plus they have conveniences like long air hoses and long windshield cleaning tools. Often, propane is right there as well, in case you need to top off. The price for propane has been fairly competitive. Not as cheap as Tractor Supply, but way cheaper than what youd pay at a campground.And what a delight it was to discover you can get coffee made from ORGANIC coffee beans, freshly ground and brewed right in front of you at the push of a button! This alone is worth planning your stops around Flying J :)

Truck stop is just an average run of the mill flying J, it’s pretty run down could use some TLC here n there. Food is what you expect, wide variety of items from candy to mini fridges. All at the usual high price for “convenience.”If you want to stop somewhere cleaner and a bit more up-to-date, I highly recommend the pilot just a few blocks down from this stop.

I always forget about Denny’s Breakfast, but Saturday morning I googled it and remembered, it’s this one nearby and stopped in to get $5.99 pancake (buttermilk) breakfast deal, great, great food! I’m so glad I stopped in and pick-up my To-Go Order! Food was Succulent!!!

Flying J is a great travel.plaza. Always has fast hot food to buy. Or got time hit the restaurant. Need a guick gift visir their C store. We look for one when we are traveling

VERY NICE STAFF AND THE CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP WAS AMAZING why the caps because its the first Flying J we have been to in a LONG time that was AWESOME in fact we pretty much stop going to them. But this 1 did us RIGHT THANK YOU

I stood in dennys 10 minutes. Both waitresses looked at me, cleaned more tables, walked around. They did NOT come take my order. Mayb they dont like white girls.

Nice truck stop. I was hit up by some lady selling audiobooks. But West Memphis reputation preceeds its self. The Dennys provided excellent to go service. The food was hot, fresh and correct. The service was very courteous. The store employees were courteous as well. Another matter of I think, you get what you give. I would stop here again.

Worst truck stop I’ve ever seen. The ladies at the register give you attitude just because you ask for a bag to put the stuff we bought. Then we go to their Denny’s and it’s even worst. We waited for a to go order for 45 minutes just so they can have the order wrong. They’re not friendly at all . I saw 10 people leave because they waited long enough for their order to be taken. And it wasn’t even busy at all. It was slow. People giving you attitude because they don’t want to work. Maybe they need to look for a job that they will enjoy. Never again will I stop here

Ok, lets just say what everybody else is not saying. The pilot flying j is yesterdays news. They have taken away from drivers, points are gone, taking away parking spots for there profit, overcharging drivers 3 times the cost. Now I told a representative 2 years ago, you better keep your eye on loves. Loves truck stops are more polite when you come in the store, when you enter the pilot its like the driver is an inconvenience for them to do what they are hired to do, and this is more so for west Memphis ar store.

I love flying J, it is the only place a stop when Im on the road in my motorhome. This was the 1st time I had an issue, it took me over 25 Minutes to fill my motor home that was only down 1/4 of a tank. Then it shut off and would not restart, they must have been very low on diesel fuel is all I can come up with.

My preferred truck stop of the area. Easy to get and out of. Lots of parking. Staff is always friendly.

Bought 2 asiago steak egg and pepper jack cheese bagels. Bagel was to hard to bite, steak was dry, No pepper jack cheese, and egg not appetizing. Wasted my money on what at other pilot flying Js is usually pretty good. Will never buy food there again. No stars given for this flying j.

Fix your parking lot lights! IT IS A SAFETY HAZARD! Why is it that every Pilot /Flying J I go to have multiple issues? Dirty or multiple things broken like fuel pumps, lights or showers. It has to be a cultural issue right from the top down because it is universal across the country. I absolutely hate these places but am forced to by my companys fuel solutions.

Clean, courteous, and professional. Staff focused on customer first. I got some chicken pot pie soup that was hot and delicious. Additionally, I got 2 pieces of pizza which were barely warm and seemed to be old.

Gas station was great, the attached Dennys, not so much. Went at 7 am breakfast time got ice cold coffee that tasted like it was sitting most of the night eggs and hashbrowns were cold by the time they got to the table. I guess the only plus was the free side of bacon for everything being terrible.

First off I want to say this is a split review because the woman at the Flying J was very friendly and greeted us right away. Bathrooms were clean, the Denny’s was awesome but the shop....never in my life have I had such an experience! Needed a simple light changed on the truck. Arrived at 1:30pm and the man said it would be about an 1-1.5 hours. Okay no problem. Around 6:15 we’re still waiting and decide to go see what is going on. Walk into the shop and the guy I talked to at first is on his personal cell phone (I walk in and he hangs it up). There are two other workers sitting in the waiting area just hanging out. Not one truck in any of the bays. I asked him what is going on and he looks at the mechanic and says “you wanna mess w this”. The mechanic was a decent guy and starts asking me what’s wrong and says let’s take a look at it. I bring the truck in and go back into the shop to provide my company information and the guy working the desk is on the phone again and hangs up again. I said “you know you need to come up with a better system because I’ve been waiting for almost 5 hours and you guys are hanging around w no trucks in here”. The guy gets up and says “man don’t even f***ing.....” (and stopped himself). Then proceeded to say “you don’t know what the f*** we’ve been doing”. We exchanged words and I went back to my truck. As I’m walking back to my truck since I no longer will use their services he FOLLOWS ME towards my truck. I keep going and got in my truck and he’s telling me to GET OUT OF MY TRUCK. This guy is calling me out of my truck to fight me right there at his job while on the clock. I didn’t engage because I know I am a representation of my company and don’t want to stoop to his level. I did call corporate and spoke w the general manager. He apologized for the situation. I suggest avoiding this place if you need work done there is a Loves and a Petro over here....

Cashier was as sweet as she could be. My problem was there was no hot food for breakfast. There was fresh coffee its was good as always. Those new coffee machines suck. The coffee that comes out of those are undeniable nasty. Cant even drink it. If it wasnt for the cashier being so nice I would have put one star.

Showers were clean facility was nice. Seemed like staff was short handed as there was only one cashier. Dennys restraunt was the same way. Had to wait for everything while the waitress checked people out and ask twice as she had forgotten by the time she had gotten back.

Plenty of parking up until about 2000 here, spots are tight. Be careful cause lot of drivers dont park on the line so it makes it almost impossible to get out if ur leaving early. Spots kinda like a tight loves. Did get hassled by the homeless dude looking for a handout. I encouraged him to start his own business! Charging a fee for spotting for swift! He was excited to get started on this new business venture and I am happy! Our trucks are safe here, guys! Lol

Parked & within hour & half had 2 knockers begging for money. 1st one walked away & being told no. Next one, a black guy got belligerent & started with Racial B.S.I dont participate in racism & reverse fascism doesnt fly with me either. Guys like this give West Memphis a bad taste in my mouth.But I must say the evening store manager, I think her name was Lillian? Handled things very professionally when this was reported to her. So big kudos to her.

Do not eat at Dennys, this was the nastiest and dirty place that we have eaten at. The food was extremely horrible.. bathroom was terrible.. dirty and not kept up... service was the saving grace...my son ordered biscuits n gravy...texture of soap water or similar to 2 per cent milk.... so much for southern cooking....yuk...you can contact me if you want...I plan on contacting Dennys and report this when we return from vacation.....skip West Memphis entirely, keep driving.......

Worst shower Ive had at a truck stop. Disgusting! My shower had a big clump of hair in the corner. Baseball size btw! Clean towels on the counter, but someones dirty towels in the shower still. Obviously hadnt been cleaned. I look for attendant but hes busy watching TV. He gives me another shower and I spent the whole time smelling piss! Once again, obviously NOT cleaned! I felt dirtier getting out then when I went in! Never again.NEVER!!!

Its a good stop for a shower.. only thing is the air is on and theres no way to turn it off so it can get cold in the showers at times.. plenty of parking and they have pizza and other food you can get to go if you in a rush..

Never went inside so cant speak there. However pulled up to use RV pumps. Obviously brand new renovation. Only negative was that they forgot to make the RV pump lanes wide enough for RVs. Hopefully store was also renovated, but dont know.

The Dennys in this flying js is really hurting it ! The staff at the flying js is nice but the restaurant is horrible they dont even have dessert, good luck trying to get a nice meal here, guess theres always the iron Skillet at the Petro around the corner

Finally. Here goes. This was the worst experience at a truck stop by far. I have been a points reward customer and been purchasing diesel fuel from pilot & flying j for years spending money inside when their products are overpriced anyway. But after yesterday when I got into with the rude ladies at the counter early that morning. First their was one at the register when the other 2 were standing around. So they dont even talk to you as if youre a customer or you came there to spend money. Shouting out next trucker. What does that mean? How about may I HELP THE NEXT CUSTOMER AT THIS REGISTER? Then she talks to her co worker as Im at the register giving her my info to set up my pump saying, girl see this is why they aint paying attention cause they all in their phone. As seeing how I input my truck number, mileage and pin in their so I can open in it and remember it to tell you. Next she talks to me like Im her child saying oh well just give me your numbers and go on about your business. So let me get this straight you talk disrespectful to a paying customer when youre at work and get paid to service them and when they respond rude back youre offended on top if your bad service. I tell you what I heard the GM was Jose. If he doesnt fire her. Ive already contacted Flying J and Pilot and the 400-600 dollars a week in fuel I spend along with the 250 dollars a week in truck stop shopping is no longer going to exist. Im going to see how much Pilot and Flying J corporate office feels about her attitude causing this. And then to top it off they call the company I work for. Decent enough, can get to from either 40 or 55 to the service Rd. Blue Beacon next door. I had fresh chicken around 15:00, shower clean, TV room clean and decent parking lot, lots of space here.

Poor plumbing. A hot shower becomes a MAGMA CASCADE in #8 each time someone nearby flushes a toilet. This was somehow avoided in the construction of other Flying J locations, so it puzzles me that it wasnt done here. In any case, a warning of some sort might have been in order.Oh, and the shower water doesnt drain, so dont bother with sandals, as they wont protect you against swamp-borne pathogens.

Hot dog buns was empty. Fuel island dark and dirty. Typical flying j.Maybe some day they start putting out Lipton tea bags for hot tea like Loves does. Yeah hold my breath and turn blue waiting on that

I slide my card and her system freezes and I pull my bank account up to show her it went through, and the manager on duty talks down to me like Im trying the be a thief. I had to walk out to my truck, call my bank, manually cancel the transaction. I then went back in to pay again because I dont pull that nonsense. My point is, if you want someone to disrespect you, this is the truck stop for you. Its always something at this dump. I only park here when I have no choice because of time and hours.

Only three stars because premium truck parking wifi doesnt work. Please fix your wifi Pilot/ Flying J, this problem happens at a good majority of your properties

Went to Dennys inside. Have been here several times always friendly staff and clean facilities

Very, very bad! No clean restum! No frendly personal, staff!

Stopped to get fuel around midnight and there was no pizza or food out and the employee was rude

We visited the Dennys restaurant at the Flying J this weekend and had a delightful experience. The food was very tasty and the customer service staff was friendly. Good job Dennys! Keep up the good work!

The person behind the counter was very friendly.The RV island is very cramped and not easy to get in and out of.There is no potable water during the winter for your RV!

To be honest I would have given this restaurant a one star if not for your waitress. She seemed like she was going out of her way just to be professional and decent. However it looks to me like you dont nearly have enough people working nights this is why the tables were all dirty. You dont want to hire enough people to get the job done and then no doubt you will all complain because the tables are dirty. If the waitress was sitting there doing nothing I would say the tables were dirty because shes lazy. However this was not at all the case she was all the time moving and doing everything she could to wait on customers. Your restaurant is understaffed.
