I have been to several Ocean State Job lots and as you know, I base my reviews on mobility impaired customer service. one could easily come into the store using a walker, wheelchair or other assistive device and do their shopping the same way that a well-able body person could. they have fleece sweatshirt jackets for $15, 6 sweatshirts for $10 you cannot beat their prices even when it comes to pocketbooks or beauty supplies.

Went in to look at the outdoor recliner and they had a demo. Pretty wide and cushions are comfy. All metal except wicker sides. Easy to recline but couldnt figure out the three positions. Ill update when I put it together. Job Lot is like a kid going to a candy store. So much to see. I love shopping here.Update: Put the chair together. Definitely need two people. My husband had to manipulate some of the long metal parts to get the holes to line up but once together, it works really well. Cushions are very comfy. For me, I need a small pillow for head when fully reclined. Its very sturdy. This was a good purchase.

Love this store. Great prices most of the time and a wide selection of food. You can also find some apparel often times for good low prices. Crazy deals are just that, crazy good in most cases. Gotten some very cheap quality products here. Selection will vary from store to store in most cases but overall they have something for everyone. The have a decent amount of plant based products but can always be better! Deff recommend!

First and foremost, you gotta come in knowing what Job Lot is all about. Once you get past that, this location is great. Much more organized than the location about 15-20 minutes away in Marlborough. Good selection, fairly clean store, organized shelves. For a Job Lot, its great. If youre looking for some discounts on some great products, give this location a shot. It just might change your mind about Ocean State Job Lot.

Went in for just 1 item I saw in the flyer. Came home with 4 bags of things I needed for now and stocked up for later. Love Ocean State Job Lot!!

Not a great experience today. Long long line at the registers. No ones fault really as some customers had large orders. But there needed to be more registers open. I understand staffing shortages etc. In general the store is well staffed and clean.

Like the ad says .best selection of pool supplies, this is where i go for pool and outdoor patio supplies, chairs, floats, citronella candles etc, decent prices and doesnt drain your wallet, the plus side is a discount beer and wine selection,which had some name brand name wines and beer, no public restroom, so no poop, but dollar tree is next door with an exceptional restroom if you must poop, I only wish they could increase the cat food selection, but a great store otherwise still 5 stars.pool supply prices and selection have me hooked, cant forget the cashiers who are also friendly and attentive.

This is a great place to shop, it has wide range of brands and great prices. Great diversity of imported products from countries whose products are traditional. Reasonable service.

Looking for some inexpresive but good quality imported tea, coffee, chocolate, wine or beer? Also want some kitchen supplies, toys, outdoor tools and maybe some gloves, well then this the place to go.WARNING: you may come home with more than you planned going in!

My husband and I wanted to visit this store (6:30pm) and it was already closed. Several other people also arrived and we were all signaled by the sales guy, that they are done for the day. Last time we visited, the personnel was incredibly awful and it seemed like they couldn’t care less about any costumers. Otherwise it is a great store, but not sure, why this stores differs so much (personnel wise) to other Ocean State Joblots.

I love Ocean State! It takes some time to restock some items but I always find something to buy. I love Crazy deals! Lately I’ve been waited on couple of times by young lady named Louise and she’s always super nice and polite. She doesn’t roll her eyes at me when I try to use all my Crazy deals cards which is appreciated!

Aside from the decent deals that you can get, how about actually having more than one cashier available... every time I come here it’s insufferable how long you have to wait to cash out!

I been to this Job lot a few time when we need to grab a medium amount for the our home or something else i always find it fun plus i find what we need in a heart beat once a while it busy or slow so we got wait the workers are great helpful sometimes i find good stuff for myself i do pick this one out the others

Bought clothes at bargain price

Good place for really specific things. Cheap bully sticks for dogs and eco fire logs in the winter. Has an interesting selection of food and spices, some you wouldnt find elsewhere. That being said, there is also a lot of junk... Fun to look around though.

Good inexpensive alternative

Good prices, conveniently located and helpful staff. Checkout Dollar-Tree first as a suggestion its in the same plaza...Its way cheaper than any CVS or Walgreens with more variety items.

Associate shane extremly rude shouldent be a cashier if they cant handle dealing with a simple void or waiting for a price check. Shouldent work with people no hospitallity hates his job

Lots of things from around the world to choose from in the food section.

This place was busy when I got there. The type of busy that even being fully staffed itsjust slow getting out the door. This being said, the employees were calm, professional, and going at a good steady place.In regards to the set up it was standard for a job lot- tons of organized stuff. So, many products. Everywhere. If you go to a place like this to just look around then youd be in there for 10 years at least.

Incredible deals but what impressed me most is when I lost my gift card because I signed up for amazing deals what does store loyalty card they looked it up and replaced it no problems. Its rare to find customer service like that Alex helped me and he was amazing patient and all-around great person I havent had customer services good a long time

Absolutely love Ocean State Job Lot. They have everything from unique and unusual Foods 2 clothing 2 household items to Garden items and furniture. Just about anything you need they have and at well below normal prices. I love it there. But if youre not the type to search around and hunt for great values it may not be the place for you.

Always a bargain! A good place to poke around, you never know what you will find! Something for everyone at a great price!

Dirty flea market vibes, was accused of stealing clothes I wore into the store lol. Save your nose and since of cleanliness and find another place to drop $20.

Well its nice to go when you have time to wander through the aisles. You just never know what youll find. Great for basic art and creative supplies. I also like the housewares.

I always find something I am looking for when I shop at job lot. On my last visit, I purchased a few polo shirts for me and a bag of dried mango for my son. You cant get any more diverse than that.

Had a great time found all the spices we were looking for. Even got poppy seeds which are hard to find. This store is huge so even though it was busy it wasnt crowded. They had a lot of yarn and knitting needles

I like this store a lot, but the hours theyre open now is a joke, closing at 7pm everyday is not a mandatory thing and prevents a lot of people from shopping there all together. Some people do work and dont have time to drive over there before 6:30-7:00. Saying its for health and safety is ridiculous, staying open until say 8:00 instead of 7:00 makes no difference, not like theyre staying late to clean, place is empty by 7:05. You would think they would have extended their hours before cold and flu season begins, guess the owners dont care about making money 🤷‍♀️

The reason I give it three stars is because of the large displays in the front by the registersI was in line waiting a when the cashier shut out her light, she couldnt see meShe was leaving and asked me if I was checking out she did help meIf possible you should lower the displays so the cashier can see up the aisles

One of the staff was so helpful to me even though I couldnt find what I needed..she needs a raise! I forgot her name but i told the manager how great she was!!

Was in here today at 1:00 oclock and found two items that I wanted to purchase. Only two registers were open and the lines were long! Plenty of people on the floor stocking but no one ringing. A price check and customer question from the two customers ahead of me resulted in my leaving my items and going. I only have a half hour for lunch and didnt plan spending it all in the job lot cashier line. Unacceptable service! Will not be going back!!
