I just bought an IS 300 last weekend from, Phil. The elegance, but non-pretentious atmosphere of this dealership comes with the most professional salespeople in the industry. I had just been to a Mercedes Benz dealership the night before. The polarity between the businesses was crazy! There is a delicious cafe right in the middle of the dealership, that you can get an iced coffee or breakfast/lunch sandwich, while you wait for service.Hands down the best car buying experience EVER!

Absolutely terrible service at McGrath Lexus of Westmont. Do not work with the salesman Mel Owens, he will lie to you about when the vehicle is ready, and have you sit in the dealership for hours. Apparently being upset about someone lying to you is not ok, because they choose to not sell you vehicles if you arent satisfied with their service. Unfortunately, my Lexus RX 350 (which we bought from Joe Scala at McGrath) was stolen, involved in a high speed chase and totaled all in less than 24 hours. This left our college daughter without a car for work in Madison, WI. Knowing I loved my Lexus and she needed a car quickly, I called our trusted advisor, Joe Scala, and tasked him with identifying all the used Lexus RX 350s available and selecting the best one from the bunch for me. He went above and beyond the call of duty, inspected them all and test drove the top two picks. He ranked all four of them for me, explained why and chose the best one... of which I agreed based on his description, video and analysis. The next morning, my daughter and I drove 2 hours to pick it up and drove off happy customers. It is the perfect replacement vehicle. McGrath has excellent vehicles, professional and trustworthy employees and exceptional service. I would highly recommend Joe Scala to anyone interested in a new or used vehicle. Thank you Joe for making our chaos a bit more manageable and for selling your vehicles for the price you actually advertise them for!! This is not the case at some other dealers, and I wasted hours before calling you in pursuit of a vehicle that was listed at one price only to find out it wasnt being sold for a price any where near the advertised price. Hopefully, a lesson learned for many through all of this!

I brought my car for service to McGrath Lexus in Westmont and after they broke the car part, they tried to charge me for the labor to fix it! I purposely brought the car to the dealer to avoid any problems and they were trying to hold me responsible for their mistake. Then when the guy brought my keys to me after the work was done, he gave me attitude and made me feel like I was to blame. I’ve never had a bad experience there until today. I will NEVER bring my car for service nor purchase a car from McGrath again. They treat their customers like we are lucky to have them rather than the other way around.

First I would like to say I absolutely LOVE Lexus vehicles. I own one, they are the best cars I have ever owned. But, today i worked with Paul... my son and I came in, just browsing to get a feel of what I want and to test drive a few cars. I was asked a bunch of financial questions after I stated I was just browsing, and was basically denied being able to test drive a 2020 because lets be real your payments would be 900 month. He had no clue how much I have as a down payment, nor did i want to tell this information just browsing!. I did not appreciate the assumptions or the financial questions and just left. I went somewhere else that didnt probe with all the questions and easily let me test drive vehicles with out asking if I can afford 30k plus cars. I am offended and still upset about todays experience. Lexus cars, great. Dealership, not so.

I took my car in for a recall work this past Friday, replacement of the passenger airbag. They did a complementary vehicle check-up and reported the following:I have a chip on the windshield on the passenger side, and recommend I replace the windshield. Cost $299. When I picked up the car, the chip turned into a 2 feet crack, and I was told that most likely due to the chip, when the technician was removing the airbag the crack happened. They will not cover for this. How do I know that the tech did not bump the windshield with his tool?? Now I have a $300 replacement to take care of…although I just got a quote from Route 66 Auto Glass for $175 (installed)My battery is failing a test and should be replaced, cost $199. Battery was 8 years old, so I can see where this is true…I replaced the battery on my own terms for $120.My rear brakes are stuck, and the pads are wearing unevenly, with one pad almost gone. I was told I need to replace the calipers, rotors & pads. Cost $1,300.00! Basically, a scam, trying to push a completely unnecessary repair. Over the weekend I bought $50 pads and fixed the brakes myself. Yes, both calipers were in fact stuck on the lower pivot bolt, but there was no need to replace them! They needed to be removed, cleaned and greased up. Also, both rotors are just fine, no need to replace them.When I picked up the car, it was not washed, as they normally do. Even the girl that brought the car up front for pick-up was surprised the car has not been washed and offered to take in for a wash, however I would have to wait since there was a long line to the wash.

Excellent service department. They are very thorough and friendly at McGrath Lexus. I never have a worry that when I leave my vehicle is in its best running shape. Highly recommended.
