Wayne has been outstanding in responding to my needs of my 2010 Honda Civic. The old hooptie needed a bunch of work in the past year - from a new tire after a flat, to new drums in the back, to a cracked A/C, and some broken bits of the exhaust system. McCracken Auto West is the first auto shop I have ever had a pleasant experience with. I went in there with an unknown issue that had previously been “fixed” by someone else and they are most honest, professional shop. This is not a place that will attempt to upsell you in any way shape or form and they treat you like they would handle services for their own cars - by doing everything in their power to fix the job without it costing you more than it needs to. Wayne has been incredibly helpful and always takes me in when I call him, and even did so in the 100 degree heat the day my AC stopped working and I had a long trip to make, even though he was closing for the day.I will never go anywhere else. You should know they are extremely fair priced, I highly recommend McCracken for anything and everything. Their entire staff is a pleasure which is the cherry on top!

My wife and I have been going to McCracken Auto West since 2017. When we first moved to the area we were nervous about finding a new mechanic that we could trust. Wayne and his team have been great and truly put our mind at ease. He will not hesitate to get on a call to explain what is wrong with our cars, what they can do to fix it, etc. We were even able to have a conversation about my wifes old Honda Civic to see how long he thought it had left to help us decide when to pull the plug to buy a new car. I trust him and his team and are grateful to have them to turn to.

They went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. First instead of taking on an expensive emissions repair, Wayne pointed out we had a voluntary recall coming. So we went to a dealership and had the repairs done for free. It was like in Miracle on 34th Street when St. Nick let’s shoppers know they can get a better deal at another store. Uncommon integrity and service! Second we badly needed new tires with snow coming and they turned the job around in a day! We highly recommend them for prompt service with integrity and value.

I don’t have enough wonderful things to say about McCracken’s west. They have gone above and beyond for us more times then I can keep track of. Being a woman who knows nothing about cars I was always nervous about being taken advantage of. I have nothing to worry about here. They are always honest and will let you know if something needs to be done right away or if it can be put off a little longer.I need to give a special shout-out to Wayne who runs the front desk. He is so kind, professional and knowledge. He takes the time to break things down so I understand exactly what is wrong with my car. We moved to northbridge, an hour away from Westwood but we still continue to go there because they are just that amazing!

I’ve been to several auto mechanics for my old toyota over the past 6 years and McCkraken is hands down the best around. One time I needed an oil change but had a conflicting dentist appointment, and Wayne & crew went and picked up my car, did the oil change, and drove it back to my dentists office before I was even finished.
