Awful experience at Visionworks today. I’m not sure how Andrew is still employed at Visionworks. He is rude and abrasive and based on reading other reviews, it is a shared experience based on many customers.Brian is a wonderful human and was so incredibly kind and thorough. I had such a great experience as did other members of my family.Andrew - Be more like Brian or change to another job where you can be kinder to the customers or work behind closed doors with zero customers.
They double booked my appointment. I showed my text message from them showing my appointment and he said he already gave my appointment away. I said he needed to accommodate me and he said not for today. Won’t go there.

I visited this particular location, with what I thought was a prescription. It turns out it was an order for frames from my military treatment facility. I totally understood I was mistaken, however the salesperson that was there was very rude in explaining that to me. I felt uncomfortable with the tone he had, and wanted to leave right away.
I walked into Visionworks today with absolutely no idea what my insurance covered etc. I walked out with a great deal and a nice pair of glasses thanks to Andrew Levy. He is AMAZING. He was very honest and knowledgeable about what my insurance would cover and went over all the details with me. It helped that he had a great sense of humor and made me feel comfortable during my experience there. He was quick and efficient. Give this man a raise !! I will definitely be coming back in hopes Andrew will be able to help me again. I highly recommend the Westwood location. Thanks Andrew !!

Went in for our families routine eye care. Dr. Kupsc was exceptional. He explained every aspect of every part of the exam. All the results were shared with us and were broken down for our understanding. Dr. Kupsc was very pleasant. When it was time to explore frame options Mr. Andrew Levy assisted us. Mr Levy was equally as pleasant, personable and very funny. He explained the various type of frames and which would or would not work for our face structure. Even when I was set on a particular frame he explained why they would not work when he could have easily just sold them to me. Overall this was a great experience with both Dr Kupsc and Mr. Levy!
I was actually in the Quincy store. I already left a review there. I can not enter a new one. Let me say Andrew Levy was the MOST helpful, pleasant, knowledgeable, and dedicated employee!!!! Andrew helped my husband and I with our glasses. He took extra care with the fitting, and adjusting. He explained all the costs, and how our insurance worked. He made us feel at ease, and even made us chuckle! Andrew Levy even made a recommendation on a frame.. He was spot on! It looks great! I wish Andrew Levy worked in the quincy store!!! Hope corporate sees this and gives him either a raise or a bonus!!!!
Unfortunately I dont know the gentlemans name but..., Day before yesterday I call to say my glasses broke and did I need an appointment to come in and get them fixed. The answer was NO. Yesterday, I went into the store at 4:30pm and was greeted by a gentleman who asked What do you need? not a great start. I told him my glasses broke (the screw fell out) and a coworker was able to find a screw to repair them temporarily. Im going to type in caps because this is how i was spoken to.. DID YOU BUY THE GLASS HERE? yes HOW LONG AGO? about 13-14 months - WELL, THEY ARE NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY, SO IF I ATTEMPT TO FIX THEM AND THEY BREAK, I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE! Needless to say, I needed them repaired so I handed him my glasses. He huffed away. When he was done, he came to me and handed my glasses over. I said thank you very much. His reponse: MMMHHHH. This is unfortunate because when I was there to see the doctor and pick out glasses, the staff was awesome. I dont know what is going on there now, but I will NOT be returning. Thank you, Michelle
We visited this store today and the middle aged man ordered us to remain on sit immediately after we entered. Later on he answered my questions in a rude way. I felt that I was going through an airport customs and taking to a police officer. I left right away.
I had an exam today. The gentleman at the front desk is AWFUL. He cuts you off he talks to everyone like they have no idea what they are talking about. He is condescending and rude. He lacks Hospitality and customer service. I called later in the day to ask about the charges and he mad me feel awful just trying to understand the exam fees. YOU LOST ME AS A CUSTOMER and I really could not be more upset about the way you treated people on the phone and in person.

Had a great experience here. The staff were super friendly and helpful. They were also following cdc guidelines and taking the temperature of everyone entering the store, providing hand sanitizer, and giving you a tray to put all the glasses you tried on in so they could be properly cleaned. I had a very pleasant and easy experience here.
Staff was very helpful and friendly. I was in and out very quick and got a perfect prescription. The doctor was super friendly and very informed. I will definitely be going back here again!
I am DISGUSTED and extremely DISAPPOINTED with the Visionworks staff! My mother and I went to Visionworks with the hopes of purchasing glasses. Our first visit was mediocre but my mother did purchase two pairs of glasses. About a month went by WITH NO EMAIL, CALL or TEXT to let my mother know that her glasses were ready for pick up. My mother called to find out the status of her glasses and the receptionist was rude and eventually she hung up the phone on my mother. So my mother and I decided to pick up her glasses today and their customer service was horrible! One of the glasses they gave my mom wasnt even the pair she chose. They were dismissive and didnt even apologize for not contacting her about her glasses being ready. I wish I could give these people 0 stars because thats honestly what they deserve. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND VISIONWORKS AT UNIVERSITY STATION TO ANYONE!!!!!!
Ive shopped with visionworks for a few years now and Im always satisfied. Staff is helpful and the manager, Brian, is really nice. He was able to help me find 2 pairs that I absolutely love. I will be back to this Visionworks soon. I recommend this location to all my family and friends.
I came in here this past Wednesday for a repair on a pair of glasses Ive had for quite some time. I was helped by the manager who helped me fix my glasses. He replaced the screw I was missing, changed my nosepads and cleaned my glasses quite nicely. Great service and friendly to chat with. Best of all the service was free, I had purchased these glasses at a shop that has since closed, I insisted on paying, but they wouldnt allow it. Ill be back here in the future.
My entire visit on 22 February 2019 including front desk check in, insurance validation, eye exam and purchase of glasses, was a wonderful experience. Friendly and helpful staff. Dr. Kostogiannis was great - very thorough eye exam.
Loved the service. Came in right before closing and the two employees there helped repair my glasses free of charge. They also took the time to talk about insurance with us. Definetly returning next time I need to go to Visionworks

This is my first full vision test and pair of glasses (I guess age is catching up with me!). Upon arrival the staff was very helpful and had a folder all ready to go with simple paperwork for me to complete.Dr. Conway explained all the tests, and the overall vision exam was very efficient and thorough. My diagnosis and options were covered clearly before I met with the optician, Lisa, who walked me through lenses, frames, coatings, and more info than I thought Id ever need.Due to available discounts I decided to purchase two pairs (one for reading and one with progressive lenses).I should have them both in a week!

As much as I want to like this location, it’s just uncomfortable! Each of the 3 times I’ve been there, the staff is doing nothing when I walk in. I think to myself, oh great I came in at the right time. But then they seem unbelievably annoyed that I’m there and need their help. They just don’t offer you much in the way of service and I’m there because they’re the experts, right?! It feels like I’m interrupting them doing nothing but scrolling on their phones, they’re short, and annoyed. Hoping not to have to go back, and willing to drive further to go to another location to avoid this staff! Bummed it’s not a better experience!!

Unfortunately I can’t give zero star. This place is not worth my time to even write more than a few sentences. Needless to say more, our experience at this Westwood location was horrible! POOR customer service and ABSOLUTELY RUDE!! They lost my business, all of my family and extended family”s business. For the benefit of others, I will spread the words at my workplace and social network to AVOID this place altogether!

This was my first visit to visionworks, I needed my Oakley glasses repaired. I got Jonathan Arujo he was very professional, well dressed, very nice and knowledgeable. I was very pleased with the repairs made and with his customer service I will definitely be going back in the future. Ask for Jonathan!!

These people are rude, despite making a significant mistake with the prescription on my right eye, they just blew me off and walked away from me blaming the period of time it took for me to self diagnose that their prescription was way off. Avoid at all costs
Tried to pick up my glasses but my prescription was completely off. No appt for well over a week to remedy the prescription. Called vision works to let them know they can call my last dr. To get my info if that would help, no one answered the phone for 2 hours and when they finally did answer it was hello. No name or introduction. It was very rude, the associate, a young man continued to be rude when I tried to explain my situation. Complete waste of time and money! There are too many other vision retailers for you to go to this location.
Forced to be seen here by HPHC and arrived on time to appt; they took the Patient ahead of me who was late. HPHC will hear this is a terrible forced referral

Not only was the front desk worker (man with short grey hair) incredibly rude and condescending, so was the optometrist. My husband and I left without being seen. When he questioned why there was a few associated with contacts exam (which is covered by our insurance) optometrist told my husband “your insurance is your responsibility not the front desks”. We even showed our insurance breakdown that said we had coverage for this and they still wanted us to pay. Needless to say we left. Terribly rude staff. Terribly rude doctor. DO NOT go here.
