G W Toma has a great team and has always been there when needed. We have bought our appliances from them over the years. There service is excellent. Today we needed help when our refrigerator suddenly was failing. We needed a replacement. Sue Keith, our sales rep today, was very helpful. She was very knowledgeable and quite helpful in facilitating our purchase. We highly recommend the TOMA TEAM.

I was going through a difficult time, with a mother in the hospital when both her refrigerator and stove had to be replaced, unexpectedly.Alan Stern, on of their sales reps, answered my call for help and made the process painless for me. He sent me choices of both refrigerators and stoves, arranged professional delivery by great people who also removed the old appliances, and even sent a professional plumber over to deal with the re-connection to our gas line, as well as satisfy the towns permit policy and inspection.Id give ten stars if I could.

I purchased an expensive refrigerator from Toma approximately three months ago. The freezer died today in dramatic fashion and the fridge is *likely* shot. Obviously, this is deeply problematic and frustrating. I had a full set of groceries and a graduation party the next day. I called Toma at 445 on a summer Friday. The service techs had left for the day. Nonetheless, Sam, Kyle, a woman in customer service, and two delivery men (and likely others) worked hard to make it right. They delivered a loaner refrigerator after hours, called several times to make sure dimensions would work at my house, and followed up. When I said I could likely get by with just a freezer, the owner (who had been called unbeknownst to me) said, no, get her a full unit as this weekend is going to be very hot and humid. This is customer service personified and EXACTLY why you buy local. I am disappointed with the refrigerator breaking, of course, but I have every confidence this family owned company will work to make it right. I recommended them to my friends before this and will do so now with even more confidence. Buy local, buy Toma.

I was looking on line for a dishwasher. Found one. Asked when I could pick it up and they said a couple of days which was perfect. Richard answered all my question and made it so easy and the web site tell you if it’s in stock. I will do on line next time

The wall unit AC in the condo we own started leaking a few days ago...down the wall, filling a bucket, etc. We called the property managers and they referred us to GW Toma. Not sure why I didnt think of them myself as we went through them last year for a new washing machine.In any case...we are in the middle of a heat wave and this very old wall AC is dying. We spoke with Sue and she asked and answered all the questions we had so we ended up ordering by phone and within minutes, an email receipt was in my inbox.We chose to do it over the phone as she mentioned the installation company they use is already two weeks out from a timing perspective and since we know the product we are getting, it just made sense to do it over the phone.GREAT customer service from SUE!! I texted George Washington Toma on Sunday night. Someone called me back on Monday. She told me that someone will call me back from the sales department. Alan called me on Tuesday. He was very nice, he answered all my questions, gave me all the information I needed plus a link to view the washer dryer. I dont know why anyone would buy TVs and appliances anywhere else. For more decades that I care to recount, Ive always experienced professional staff members, exceptional service and great prices, but a recent incident sealed the deal. I bought an appliance from Tomas 3 years ago; during the summer it began acting up til it finally crashed and burned. The repair guy figured out it was a manufacturing error/omission (with photos to prove it) which took 3 years to surface. Since it was a manufacturing defect I contacted them directly. After several frustrating weeks of getting nowhere with said manufacturer because it was out of warranty, I asked the awesome Toma employees for help. George Toma was informed of the issue and although he had no obligation to do so, he jumped right in and due to his relentless pursuit of a fair resolution, the result was way better than I couldve hoped for: I received a check from the manufacturer for the entire purchase price of the appliance. If I could give you 10 stars I would. Way to go Team Toma, so glad theres Always a Toma to Talk To!

I had the pleasure of meeting Allan the sales representative from Toma. I cannot express enough the professionalism and commitment to me as a customer. When I was in the process of considering where I was going to purchase my 5 appliances I compared Home Depot to Toma. Toma was going to give me the same deal as HD but the quality of the appliances was less than Toma. I decided to go with the better quality and I am very happy I did. The crew that came to deliver the appliances were extremely professional and friendly and accommodating. They even brought my old fridge into the basement with no hesitation. I recently reached out to GWT for help with my in-laws. After several years of being apart, my wife and I drove up from NC to see her elderly parents. We found that their stove was in unsafe condition and knew we had to get it replaced before we left since my in-laws dont have the resources to replace it and would refuse an offer of help.This is where Richard at GW Toma comes in. I called and he instantly understood the situation. I only gave him 2 days notice, but he got permission from the boss to rush the delivery so I could get the stove in the house before I had to go back to NC. He was courteous, efficient, and pleasant to work with.I never would have gotten that kind of service from a big box store. Now if there is ever a problem with the stove, all they will have to do is call and someone from GWT will take care of them. I highly recommend this business and if I lived in the area, theyd get all my business.

I reached out during the start of the pandemic for a full appliance order for my home renovation. I worked with Kyle Burke, one of the sales people there. Kyle worked with me patiently on my appliance order. He was great at offering different options and was always responsive. When inventory became an issue due to the pandemic, he quickly pivoted and suggested new options. I felt like I was in great hands. We have made a few purchases over the years from GWT. Each and every time we have received unbelievable service. This time we needed a new refrigerator very quickly. They were able to deliver in 2 days even with the Christmas holiday! Ive been to George Washington Toma twice now. Both times I went (looking for something specific), I left with what I was looking for and the know-how to use it. The last time, Richard S.(?) spent the time to make sure my friend and I knew how to install the television mount we were purchasing.Ill go back when Im in the market for what theyre selling.Recommended.

This store has the best service. If you have a size problem with a built in microwave, Wilfredo is the man for you. Their installer, Erik is also a gem. This is the place to go for all appliances.

Mark at Geo. Washington Toma is excellent to work with. I was able to shop on the phone with Mark to figure out which washer and dryer unit would work best is a tiny space, actually they needed to fit into a closet. Mark was quite knowledgeable and familiar with our challenge. Cost was a significant issue and Mark was extremely helpful in providing a couple of different cost choices. The delivery guys were excellent. A part had become disconnected during shipping and the GW Toma installers were able to get the manufacturers tech rep on the phone to do some trouble shooting and they solved the disconnected wire on its been working now with not issues for the past four months. i am a returning customer after having learned my lesson with SEARS.

Competitive prices on about any applianc that you would want. Some tv and ac as well. Service is very good, friendly people. Sales dept. Listen to what you want and not try to sell you anything you dont want. Prompt delivery and will take your old or broken appliance.
