Great selection for a local used book store...worth a look

Have lots of browsing time; sit in a comfy chair. This is a LOCAL shop.

I have been going here for years and have always received stellar service. I have been ordering a pile of books regularly for classes and they have always arrived on or about their expected dates. And almost every time, on the way in to make my pickups, I end up grabbing another one or two on the way.

Since I have moved to winchester 4 years ago, this store has provided a welcoming environment environment, hospitals and a place to get lost in the world of books. I love it here and have always received the best of service, if they do not have a book I am looking for they will order it for me.

What a charming shop. We enjoyed our visit and the owner was friendly and helpful. Some great titles but since we visited in an election year we were surprised by the lack of equal representation in titles from both sides of the aisle. Lots of progressive and left leaning titles available .

Local independent book store and community gathering spot. Surprisingly large inventory and knowledgeable staff. The store offers 20% discounts on books for book clubs. Also, a wide selection of eclectic cards for all occasions.

This is the best book store in town in my opinion. Very helpful staff and if they dont have what youre looking for chances are they can order it for you. Not only to they cater to book lovers but also music lovers by putting on small events after hour. Definitely a place to check out.

This shop is so cozy with a wide selection. I left with a nice haul of novels, history, and sci-fi. Make sure to stop in as youre strolling the walking mall. I will definitely be back!

Firstly, what a great selection and inviting shop! Secondly, any time I need a gift I tell the owner (who I do not know personally or outside of the store) the age and some interests and like Emeril says, “bamm!” She makes a suggestion that is absolutely perfect! Even for me, she knows the perfect book to challenge me intellectually or take me to imagination station. I’ve been going to Winchester Book Gallery for years and have never been disappointed - only increasingly impressed.

My high school experience wouldnt be the same without the Book Gallery. The owners are the nicest people in the world and the store has a surprisingly diverse and eclectic selection of books for its size. You can also rent all kinds of films from them or buy some records, which are things most other indie bookstores dont offer. The Book Gallery really is a positive force in the community and you should totally support them if you need a book and are in Winchester!

This is the sweetest book store! My family comes here frequently. They have an adorable childrens area. The owners are very friendly and helpful. If they dont have a certain book in stock they will order it for you. We love them!

This is a cool little book store. Lots to choose from, friendly staff, and its on the walking promenade of downtown Winchester. They also host a board game night every 2nd Friday of the month. Great place to meet news friends.
