Marine Supply was very easy to work with. Bob was great and actually answered his texts and email which is hard to get done these days with so many companies. I live an hour and 40 minutes away from them and did everything via email, internet or phone calls, everything was arranged when I got to the marina or my sea test and all went well. The boat displayed exactly the way they describe it. They worked with me with there trailer to get the boat to my house. I would buy another boat from them and highly recommend them. Terry
I took the boat in Monday morning for the 100 service on the motor. The job was completed by Thursday morning and we picked up the boat ready to go. I like that I don’t need an appointment and can just show up with the boat Monday morning. This is the third time that they have serviced the motor and I have no complaints. Quick service and a fair price.
The entire staff is always great. From sales to service to parts I am always treated fantastic by the knowledgeable and friendly staff.
The day of my rental I was informed when I arrived the boat had mechanical issues. I was told we tried calling and missed the call. The call was made to me an hour before the rental and no voice mail was left informing me of the issue. I arrived with my entire family and was told they would try replacing the part, when that didnt work I was simply told there would be no boat, no offer to reschedule or no discount offered for the next rental. No resolution, just basically oh well I understand things happen, however the way it was handled was far from stellar customer service. definitely will not rent here again.
With all the madness going on in our country today everyone wants to be able to get out on the water and enjoy themselves. Mike in the service department kept me updated on the progress of my boat. I may have had to wait for parts to come in but as soon as the parts arrived, them guys jumped on it, I got to test my boat before I took it home. Great service Thanks again Mike and crew
I recently purchased a boat from another dealer because marine supply isn’t a ranger dealer. I ran the boat twice and had an issue with my Mercury outboard. Through references I went to marine supply and they diagnosed the problem. The part I needed was on back order, so without asking, they found a used part that worked and put it on my motor without charging me, so I could get back out on the lake asap. When the new part comes in they’re going to swap it out while I wait. They were 100% honest, professional, and went above and beyond all my expectations. They’re not my neighborhood boat dealer, they’re a little bit of a drive from me however, I will solely do business with these guys from here on out. Mike & Tim in service were extremely knowledgeable & outstanding guys. I highly recommend this business regardless of where you live, they’re worth the drive!!!
What a wonderful experience! We had talked about getting a pontoon boat for years. We expected all kinds of high pressure sales techniques, etc. Bob Robinson was a breath of fresh air. Absolutely no pressure and his easy demeanor made getting answers to our. questions easy. We took our maiden voyage in our new boat today. Best decision weve made in years. Thanks Bob.
Weve kept a boat here for the last 8 years. We have them do all of our service work, from trailer tires, oil and filters, to engine work, lower units service, batteries etc. We absolutely love their fast and courteous launch and recovery service.Their store is well equipped with parts and supplies and fishing & boating equipment.Their high stack building are well designedand their personnel have been friendly and efficient.Make a friend at Marine Supply, they will make your boating better! In short, Marine Supply has been great for us!
Marine supply has always treated me right. They are very helpful, and knowledgeable about problems you may have. Down to earth people.
Took two weeks to get an estimate over 2 weeks. Picked up boat on April 16th told me its been cranked that day got too late all batteries was dead feel like I was lied to if all batteries was dead how did they crank the boat 2 post. And Mike told me that they should have charged the batteries and no one told me I was running a month behind I think a lot of it was just miscommunication between me and your employees just wish there was better communication
Rented a pontoon. The staff is friendly and the process was easy.
Great service, good people. Boat looks good, boat runs great
We rented a boat from The Marine Supply & they exceeded our expectations! They have a fully stocked store front with all of the fishing & boating supplies you would ever need. Everyone we ran into was friendly & helpful from start to finish. Teresa, at the front desk, is simply amazing!
Marine supply is awesome, very professional and personal staff, Thank you for all your help.
If you are ever in Florida and need boat/fishing supplies, or any boat work done, Marine Supply is the best place to go. From the front desk, to the parts managers, and the mechanics out back this marina is first class. Very professional and knowledgeable. It was a pleasure working with them. I will never go to any other marina. Very satisfied and recommend checking them out!!
Easy to deal with for parts. Usually can help me even with out alot of info about my outboard. Nice guys willing to help get me up and running.
Had a problem with my Merc 175. They found a fuel line that was collapsing. Fuel line replaced, and ready to go, had two young fellas assist me with hooking up and found a stay pole had been bent. They immediately got me a new one. Treated very well throughout.
We purchased our boat at Marine Supply and have kept it there for 15 years! Their service is impeccable! From maintenance to refueling and launching the boat, weve never had a negative experience. They are a top notch facility that no matter what your needs are, you will not be disappointed.
I brought in my tidewater 232 lxf for the 100 hour service. I spoke to Tim over phone and I asked him if they performe the service according to manual. I dropped my boat on a Monday and Thursday my boat was still seating there I expected the service to done properly but it didnt the engine was not even greased for my 100 hour I usually buy my parts online which include all filters, oils, spark plugs, seals. I ended up doing the rest of the service myself. I was told it was going cost me $350 + tax and at the end I ended up paying $412 I spoke to Tim and all he could do was apologize unless there is something related to warranty I will think twice before bringing my boat back since this is a tidewater dealer but for services I am done.
My experience with Marine Supply has been excellent. I purchased my Pontoon boat from them, and I keep it stored in their dry dock. If I want to take it out, I give them a call and in a short period of time it is waiting for me in the water. The employees are very personable and professional.
I recently started storing my boat here, and the service has far exceeded my expectations. All the employees here are incredibly genuine, and a pleasure to work with. They’re also a one stop shop for service and parts. My outboard had an issue and they had it fixed under warranty and back in storage long before I was ready to get back on the water. I won’t go anywhere else for anything marine related.
Marine Supply is a deep rooted local family business that has served our community for nearly 70 years. Our family has purchased two PontoonBoats from them and they are always kind, fair and honest. The staff are very professional, knowledgeable and attentive to our needs especially, Tim, the service manager, Mike, Teresa, Devon, Chris, Luke and John and treat us like family. We trust them wholeheartedly to service our boats and keep them running strong. They have great prices on boating equipment and fishing gear. Thank you Marine Supply for all your years of service, dedication and passion for the chain of lakes and the community.Rue and Sharlene Denton,Owners,The Living Water Pontoon Boat Cruises 😎🚤🇺🇸💪
Have over 30 years experience with Marine Supply, as customer. Great family business. Stands behind their work and havent seen anything they cant solve. Always ready to help and great service over the years. They are a pleasure to deal with and great people!
Awesome marina.Helpful and knowledgeable team. Also purchased my new pontoon here. Very happy customer.Great service and service attitude
Marine Supply has a great knowledge of all things boating. They are an essential part of the Winter Haven Chain of Lakes community. They have a fantastic sales and service group.
Marine Supply is my go to marina and boat supply store in Winter Haven, FL. I store a boat or two in storage there, get me gas on the lake at the dock from them and get supplies from them. I have even bought a boat or two from them. They are your one stop shop for boating needs in Winter Haven. If you go there tell the David sent you. Bump and go David if they ask which David. I have nudged a pylon or two coming into a slip on a windy day or calm one. Stop by and check out Marine Supply, a family owned business and supporter of the community.
Great reliable staff, Very well trained experience service staff, great customer service. Great prices on merchandise, Make every visit Very pleasant and rewarding, Learn something new that will help me in the boating world every visit.
Great place to do business with. My wife and I purchased a used pontoon boat from Marine supply. the boat was well equipped and fairly priced. Financing was a breeze. After purchase Customer service is just as awesome. Our salesperson Robert Richardson was easy to deal with no pressure.
Marine Supply team does a great job servicing and housing our boat and trailer on the chain of lakes in Winter Haven. The launch service is prompt and attentive to our boats condition.Kuddos to Chris and the rest of the staff.
They are very easy to work with.
Helpful and good prices too,,,parts department is very knowledgeable
Marine supply has shown us a nice welcome to the chain of lakes and we store our boat there and a very pleased all the people especially Teresa Chris and George are always helpful on every issue we have
Bob was easy to deal with. He gladly delivered our new pontoon boat to a boat ramp near our home. We are very happy with our new Sweetwater.
I waited 6 months too be able too our boat at Marina Supply!!!! The best service in Polk County Our 10,000 Chain Of Lakes
Great people, great service. I highly recommend their boat storage options and how convenient they make it to enjoy the chain of lakes with a young family!
Knowledgeable staff and fair pricing!
Great staff, family owned and operated! You guys are awesome thank you for everything!
We love just showing up at the marina and our boat is already to go! As a realtor I always recommend new residents to Marine Supply.
Awesome people always willing to help kept my boat there for more than 10 years
Great service experience 👍
Fantastic customer service!!! I’ve kept a boat here for over ten years... they are the best!!
Buying our first new boat, my wife and I were anxious. We couldnt be happier with our service and customer appreciation! Tricia, Richard and Brother were absolutely amazing. If you are in the market for a boat, I HIGHLY recommend Marine Supply!
We purchased our new boat from Marine Supply of Winter Haven. The purchase was great. But the service after the sell has been exceptional. Would recommend shopping here.
A great marina, wonderful staff & a terrific place to store your boat!!
Friendly staff, prompt replies to inquiries. Boats are stored inside out of the weather, requests for launch are taken care of promptly.
Excellent service. Boat is always in water and ready to go, just schedule with app!
U can find what u need here or they will order it for u.
Always great service. I highly recommend Marine Supply
Hands-down the worst marina in Florida. Mike with the service department is a real class act. They served my boat before a two week boat adventure and everything they did or didn’t do broke. I asked for some things to get changed ( spark plugs and the water pump Propeller and gas Gauge ) When I arrived to pay I noticed they didn’t do what I asked them to. One the gas gauge they didn’t have the time and the propeller and spark plugs is a 500 hour service plan. My boat has 450 hours so they did a 400 hour service plan even though I told them to change it. Took the boat back for warranty when I came back from the trip to fix the things I paid for. Mike made me feel horrible for trying to get warranty work done without paying for something I already paid for! Taking my boat elsewhere and paying twice for the same service! Five stars DOWN!!!!!
Great marina and always go out of their way to help!
I worked with John Lewis on the re-power of my bass boat. John was hands down the most detailed person I have ever dealt with at a boat/marine center. He communicated with me through the entire process and made sure I was informed on every detail. The repower had some special challenges and the technicians that installed the new engine did an awesome job. The new power looks great!
These people dont know how to take care of customers over the phone, I called four times on four separate occasions to order a propeller and all they say is they will call me back and never do, they should return phone calls instead of leaving customers waiting, guess what they lost my business I will not be shopping here I will go somewhere else, they dont deserve my business. Very disappointed, first impression counts.. Marine supply,Bad customer service...
I purchased a used 2018 Hurricane FD 226F on 2/4/20 from Brother Floyd. Brother went out of his way to make sure my family and I were happy with boat and let us water test other boats to make sure we got the perfect boat for my family. After we took delivery of the boat I noticed a problem with the on board charger. I contacted Brother and they had the problem corrected the very same day I took the boat back to be repaired. They seem to strive to keep their customers happy and on the water! Thanks Brother!
Took my 2019 15hp Mercury to them because I couldnt figure out what was wrong with it...ended up being something small and simple. the manager decided not to charge me for them looking at it I will forever be a loyal customer and recommend them for all your boat needs. Very honest and all around good people you dont find that very often anymore thanks for the help guys 👍
Ive been boating for 30 years and you just dont get service anymore like you do at Marine Supply. They seem to actually care about you and your boat. I recently took my boat in for a recall and it was done quickly and efficiently, done when promised and the boat was clean when I picked it up. I communicated with Erica prior to taking it in and she was just as nice in person as she was on the phone and email. Tim was also polite and helpful when dropping. Ill definitely go back in the future and would definitely recommend to anyone.
Didn’t do what was asked for motor service then what they did fix broke first time on water! Took it back and Mike with service was rude and unwilling to take responsibility for not fixing what he said was fixed. Showed him proof it was still having same issues and was treated poorly. Also, no one there will even fix carb issues. Bought the boat and motor from them years ago. Won’t be going back.
Great people - great service!
Marine supply is great! My boat motor was stolen in March and Tim and the crew in service did a great job! From working up a quick estimate to completion of the job they made the ordeal as painless as possible! They kept me informed and in touch with me through the whole process! I highly recommend marine supply and will continue to be a customer.
My family bought a boat from here right at a year ago. Richard whom I gather is the owner was our salesman. He kept raving about the boat and how it had a brand new motor in it. I went out on the lake with him and we rode around and he showed me everything. I took my wife and kids out the next day, it was great! The next weekend we got to the ramp got it in the water and it would not start. Called them and Richard assured me they would make it right. They had to replace the starter. The very next time we took the boat out, no start. Richard again assured me they would make it right. And that they had to replace the fuel pump. Fast forward... a year. We decide to sell the boat and asked if they would consign. We were instructed to call and see how much we would get back on the $3600 dollar extended warranty we purchased to know where to price the boat. This is when we find out the “making it right” was merely them turning it into the warranty company. So the warranty company says they made 2 claims on the boat right after purchase and I would not be getting that money back. I became heated. I bought a boat with a new motor... it needs a starter and fuel pump. They turn it in to the warranty company in essence I just paid for all the repairs. So I call and speak to “Brother” he gets back to me almost a week later to inform me the only thing they can do is consign the boat at a extremely discounted price. We will consign the boat for $500 dollars. I asked how much is normal consignment, about $2500 he responds. I’m not going to lie, I’m new to consigning stuff. But it sounds really expensive for a 12k boat to pay $2500 for consignment. So I call 3 other local dealerships and they all say we charge 10%. Ok, so now, not only did you screw me with selling me a faulty boat. Cost me the warranty money by turning in the repairs on a “ BRAND NEW” motor on a boat I just purchased from you. But they have the nerve to call and lie to me about the cost of consigning a boat. I do not recommend the company, I will never do business with them again. And I along with everyone in my family will let anyone we know in the market for a boat to stay away from Marine Supply. Do yourself a favor and purchase somewhere else!
Good service and sales very happy
So before I explain these 2 stars I want all the readers to fully understand I am not in any way upset that these guys are really busy and could not get to my boat on schedule. I am upset/disappointed that that repeatedly kept me in the dark as to how busy they were without the common, professional courtesy of a phone call. So, my buddy bought a boat out of state and sent it to me. He had no knowledge as to the history or condition of the 2012 Evinrude Etec. I heard these folks did good work so I decided to give them a shot even though I had read some mixed reviews most seemed positive. Up until then I took all my outboard work to Sarasota. They scheduled me almost 2 weeks after my initial phone call so I knew they were busy. They set my appt for a Mond. Upon checking in they told me he would get back with me by the end of the week. They were checking in another 3 or so boats when I was there. No problem. 2:30 Frid rolls around and no call. I call and leave a msg as to the status of the Grady. I call again at 4:30ish and finally get someone. He says they are backed up and they have not gotten to it but he would definitely get back to me by Tues. Tues 3:30 rolls around and no call. I call and leave a message. I call again on Weds and get mike again. Same story as last week. I expressed my frustration about being misled and not communicated with and told them I would pick up the boat the following day. His response… Ok Ill have it ready for you. No apology or anything. The only reason I didn’t give them 1 star is because I am confident they probably do good work when they get around to it. I truthfully believe these folks feel like they have a corner on the market and don’t mind a few slipping thru the cracks. Their plenty busy and over book so to lose a few here and there is really no big deal. I did find out later they were down a mechanic but they knew that when they over booked. Word of advice, simply do what you say you’re going to do. If you can’t at least give customers the professional courtesy of a follow up call. It doesn’t take that much time at the end of each day to pick up the phone. thanks
Friendly efficient and well stocked. Pleasurable experience
I am a boat motor novice, but Devin treated me like I was a pro. He took the time to walk me through ALL of my first echelon preventive maintenance parts and practices. I walked out very confident. I will be back and when I decide to upgrade from my 25 hp 14 ft skiff, Ill come see Devin first.
Great salesman richard emry
Boating made easy by the good folks at Marine Supply!
Lots of in stock items and reasonable prices.
Prior to this experience, I would of given 5 stars. I bought a $12,000 boat from here so Im not new to the store. I went in last week to just look around and decided I wanted to get a pair of Costas. A lady named Trish or Trisha checked to make sure the pair I wanted was in stock, in which she did. So I paid the $300.00 and was told they would be in Friday at the latest. Well Friday rolls around & My boyfriend went up there to see about them & was told to check back Monday. So Monday comes around & a call is made to the store but was told we would get a call in a few. The call never came so he goes to the store to see about them & naturally is given I cant find them, I dont know where they are, We dont have an invoice on them. They told him they would call him later that day to let him know & well that call never came around again. So Tuesday approaches & he goes up there to see about them and not once did he actually get an answer as to where the glasses were. Needless to say, we got refunded the money but never received an apology or condolence for the experience. I may not make a huge impact on your business because Im just one person but keep in mind word of mouth travels fast. The ironic part to this is that Trish(a) told me when I went to order the glasses to shop local to keep the money local but with this experience & service Ill take my money to someone who can give an answer to there whereabouts of a $300 purchase.
This is the place to buy parts. I have had a hard time finding a Yamaha dealer to buy my parts from since coming down from WV (I am a snowbird). They were very helpful and knowledgeable. I did have my mind set on how to fix a cooling problem and a young fella behind the counter helped me narrow down the problem with just a new seal and thermostat. I recommend them when I’m on the water.
We were looking for a place to rent some kayaks on Winter Haven’s chain of lakes and the marine supply gave us a great deal on the rentals
We rented a boat today from Marine Supply and had the best time. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We will definitely be doing it again. Thanks guys!
Great place. Staff is excellent
Great experience very dedicated and kind team...make you feel home.
Customer service horrible avoid the old man there - will never go back
Friendly service.
Good little place. Could keep a little more stock but nice to have, it so convenient
Competitive boat pricing and excellent personal service. Couldnt ask for a better boat buying experience. Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful staff. First class.
I bought a 1436 Alumacraft which isnt a high dollar item. They treated me with the same respect a higher dollar sale would command. Brother and his team are top notch!
These guys Rock! I appreciate the Consumer Centric attitude and the facilities of to which is AMAZING on the Chain of Lakes. Give these guys a shout. Totally recommend them!
I USED TO love this place, friendly retail staff and knowledgeable. I took my boat for service one time and after 3 years of being a loyal customer I AM NO LONGER. When I picked up my boat it was scratched and still having the same overheat symptoms I paid to have fixed. They said bring it back and gave me an appointment for a month later. I took it to power source where they found the issues going above and beyond to make sure I stay on the water. One of the mechanics I talked to at marine supply said my bent prop shaft would only hurt my wallet not me physically, he never told me about it when it was at marine supply. Long story short, choose another place for service.
Have been coming here for years. Always friendly always great prices and dont mind spending a few to help their customers
Very disappointed in this place.
It was a GREAT experience. Chris took very good care with us.We forward to keeping our boat . Thank you all. Ray and Sue Berg.
After 30 hours of online research we narrowed our choice of boats to buy. Upon contacting Marine Supply of Winter Haven via email, we were told to “come see the boat Sat. 8:00-2:00pm” by “Brother”. We drove over 2 hours one way to see a boat that was obviously repossessed; trash stuffed in every hole, broken windshield with a full square foot missing, important coast guard items missing, chips in the fiberglass bigger than a quarter, Upholstry that appeared to be left in the sun for years; ragged carpet. In short it failed inspection from bow to stern in every way. They intentionally, with fore thought and malice, meaning they were going to screw us out of every dollar they could, took pictures that in no way represented the true condition of the boat. We retreated like cannon fodder. Do not call these people. If we could give less than one star we would.
Lots of equipment in the store to purchase. Also have some equipment to rent. Being located on the Chain of Lakes makes this location a great place to stop and move on.
Great staff with attention to detail!
Always helpful !
Good item prices
Good service
Love this place
Great place for parts. Worked with me to find a solution to my problem. First class service!
Ive been a customer at Marine supply for a few years and must say. Theyve done a great job with recent improvements! I received great service with purchase of my 2nd boat from here. Kent was on the ball throughout the process. Trish monitored the process closely and kept in touch with me very well. John in repairs has been very efficient and communicated with great satisfaction. I ordered several after market additions and must say, your crew in the rigging department deserves KUDOS.Allen / Brandon do a great job, very clean, respectful of the new boat, and let me know what was happening with preparation and retrofits. Youll be quite busy finding a more efficient crew to take good care of your boat launching and returning to the storage barn when compared to Chris and his crew. Very polite, helpful and timely! This team has come a long way over the past 3 years, striving to improve their services. I believe they NAILED IT!THANKS YALL. you all add to my family and friends boating enjoyment!C. OberVery satisfied customer
Wide supply of parts and an excellent staff to help with any of your boating needs.
Best marina on the chain bought two boats from them thanks Richard and crew
When you call them during work hours they dont answer the phone and if you leave a message, they dont return your call. Im not talking about just one message, but many calls not returned. If you ask me, that is not very curteous or a way to do business.
We have rented the pontoon boat on a number of occasions and have had a great experience out on the chain. The whole team is friendly and helpful at Marine Supply.
10 out of 10 Service, very clean boat a definite bucket list item we went out for 8 hours its still havent seen all the Lakes guess whos going to be buying a new pontoon😁
Thorough service and friendly professionals.
Good customer service and great boat washers
Dont take your boat here for service! I didnt check my boat closely when I picked it up today. They serviced the engine for a 100 hour service. I havent had a chance to get the boat in the water yet to see if it runs or not. The boat has four big scratches on it and a big chip. I have four boats and I will never take another there.
