I went to my Winter Haven Sherwin Williams for a gallon of ceiling paint on Sunday, 10/24/21 around 3:50 p.m., knowing they close at 4:00 p.m. I was prepared to come back the next day, if there was not time enough to complete a transaction.One person (two were working) replied that they had no interior paint at all. I asked whether any other Sherwin Williams store had interior paint, to which he replied No Sherwin Williams store has interior paint in Polk county.After leaving this store, i immediately called Haines Citys Sherwin Williams and asked whether they had interior paint. The lady who answered the phone said Sherwin Williams has been experiencing shortages of late, but yes - they had a limited supply of interior paint.I then called one of the Lakeland Sherwin Williams (it was still before 4 p.m.), and asked the same question. The man who i talked with said that they had no semi gloss, but they did have flat and satin interior paint.In short - customers dont like to be lied to. I went to Lowes afterward on that Sunday and bought Valspar ceiling paint... which was right next to a can of Sherwin Williams ceiling paint.Sherwin Williams paint has an excellent reputation, which is why i went to my local store. I am very disappointed in the Winter Haven location at this juncture, especially since the day before another person there was knowledgeable, took the time to help me with color, and offered good advice.I can hear it now from management - Im so sorry - there was a miscommunication. Uh, no - the communication was loud and clear, and i got the gist. I might not buy much paint, but when i do and if i want Sherwin Williams then ill be going to Lakeland or Haines City or Lowes.

Great staff, very accommodating! Gary had my paint ready when I arrived. 40 miles from my home, but worth the drive....they had my product which other closer stores did not!!

Wow what amazing service...bob and another gentleman assisted me today. They helped me out and got be what I needed right away. I was greeted as soon as I walked the door. Very impressed and this is our store of choice in the area. thank you

They were super helpful even at 445 pm. They hand tinted the paint that I needed and even loaded it for me. Great experience

I’m a dedicated Sherwin Williams customer in St Pete however this location is below average based on my other experiences. My boss has called in three separate orders over the last two weeks and they said they can have it ready in 30 min. I show up 1-2 hours later on each of the three preorders to pick up and nothing has been prepared. Cost me 20 min standing around each time. One of those times they didn’t have the paint we ordered and instead of calling us to let us know I left with less than half of what we ordered. On a separate pickup I was given someone else’s paint and had to go back. Lost another hour. Not sure where the disconnect is but the staff seems very scattered. We won’t be using this location again.

Best paint we have ever bought. Was a little more then Home depot and Lowes but the quality 5 times better. We could feel the thicker richer paint from the first dip until the last.

The sales staff are very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. The stores are bright, clean and easy to find the products youre looking for. The paint is, in my opinion, the best I have ever used. It not only is durable and easy to apply, but the colors have a snap to them that makes them especially vivid.

Terrible! We were looking for a particular color and figured SW knows paint. Even if it was extra, we wanted good quality and no hassles. We picked a color. The girl said it was an interior color so it could be off a bit. We weren’t looking for an exact shade. She mixed us a sample and off we went.It was perfect! I went back the next day and ordered 5 gallons. Late that afternoon was I surprised when I opened the first gallon and had a completely different color. I went back up to the store and got a young guy. He said ‘wow, that nothing like your sample’. Long story short,I found out it was the assistant mgr that initially helped us and the only thing she said to me when I came back was “I told you it was an interior color and might be off”. She tried mixing in white to soften it, but it didn’t work and I had 5 1 gallon jugs.... nightmare. She ended up telling the young one to give me my money back. They didn’t even want to try another type of paint or anything.We ended up at Lowe’s with the SW sample. Within 20 I walked out with a5 gallon bucket of their best paint exactly the color I wanted and saved $30. I even went back for another gallon and it was perfect also.

Though the quality of their paint is great, customer service could be improved at this location. Only once out of the four times weve been to this Sherwin Williams location have we received the expert advice one expects from the brand. Also, the retail pricing of paint related items such as brushes, rollers, and specially the price of paint samples is too high in comparison to other paint stores. I found it odd that the small jars of Sherwin Williams paint samples there were more than twice the price than the same at home improvement stores such as Lowes and Home Depot.

When you go to a specialty store you expect to pay a little more for quality products and service.Gave up and walked out after waiting almost 10 minutes for the girl to figure out how to make change for the customer paying cash in front of me.

The sales lady was very knowledgeable and seemed happy to help us. When we started painting our room we realized how right she was about our choice of paints.
