Doctor Marguerite Ball-Thomas is a wonderful, kind, caring, respectful optometrist. She is a highly knowledgeable and experienced professional whom I highly recommend. She gives the most thorough eye exam I have ever received. She is not about selling glasses; she is about caring for your overall eye health. The staff are also wonderful. I am usually checked in by Christine and she is always friendly, polite, and explains everything she is doing.

Awesome first visit experience! The office staff are all so friendly and professional. Pup Pipkin is quite entertaining in the waiting room. Dr. Podschun was great with my two teenagers; he was kind and very thorough. We will be back and I highly recommend them!

I have went to this office since Dr Podschun took over Dr Green’s office. He is the best. I have had to be switched due to insurance but always went back to him. Now, children later, I’d never take them anywhere else. His office staff are amazing. They are polite to my children and always remember us. I love their dog because it calms the kids nervousness. And most important the dog is very cute and friendly. 5 out of 5 best office EVER.

Dr. Marguerite is very thorough! I had my last exam in 2019 and talked about my dry eye. Dr. Marguerite remembered, did a dry eye check, and let me know about my options. Everyone at the office is super nice, and thorough! I even brought in my insurance card and the front desk staff were able to check my insurance within a few minutes.

I tore a contact and needed to get in right away, since my prescription was expired and no one would cut me any slack and sell me an emergency lens (somehow its more important to these places to please government officials than customers). The first 2 places I called (very close by) were standoffish and couldnt get me in for 2 weeks. These folks were extremely accommodating and helpful, and I had a new prescription and pair of contacts in under an hour from when I called. And they were busy when I went in. Going the extra mile for customers is what good businesses do. Recommended.

What healthcare used to be likeREVIEW DESCRIPTIONIt has been a very long time since I experienced quality patient care in the manner that Dr. Ball extended to me. Having had an extensive career in the healthcare field, I am NOT an easy patient. Dr. Ball and her team were thorough and detailed in my exam. Treating me as a valued individual, Dr. Ball walked me through her findings. (I already knew I had glaucoma, early cataracts and myopic) But through Dr. Balls professional, informative, compassionate and reassuring manner, I left her office feeling hopeful, confident and with a plan of action.

So, I want to start by saying I work in customer service so I actually fully understand that bad days happen, people drop the ball, and I hate ever being a karen. I went to this office with my daughter and actually really liked it. The doctor is nice, the office is clean, they were great with my child, and there is an office dog. I ordered contacts and when I got them, they were 2 different brands. Honestly, not the biggest deal, but I ordered 2 of each box for a rebate. I called and the woman I spoke to was very nice (Ashley), said my husband could bring them in and she ordered the correct brand and had them sent to my house. My husband brought the off brand in to exchange and they took the biofinity back instead. I was under the impression since my invoice from the order said biofinity, I would be ordering those and not the off brand .To be honest, I dont care about the brand but had questions about the rebate and cost of biofinity vs the off brand. When I called and started to explain I was interrupted and told they were the exact same thing just different packaging. When I started to tell her that wasnt my question and continued talking, I was put on hold and the office manager (Christine) picked up the phone. When I started to explain the situation she also interrupted me, and with an attitude, told me again they were the exact same contacts with different packaging. I told her I understood that, and that wasnt my question, but as I kept being interrupted I havent been able to ask yet. I continued on with my questions and she rudely answered them. When I asked about the invoice from the order that said biofinity and the price difference between the 2 brands (if there was one) she told me they were the same price but if you need me to write another invoice to make you feel better she would. Wed love to come back once you get different management, but the condescension from your office manager is enough to drive business away. From the other reviews it seems Im not the only one to deal with condescension at this office. Your office management is the face of your company, and even if the doctor(s) are amazing, it wont matter, as the office staff will drive business away.

Always have a great experience with Dr. Podschun and his staff. They were able to take care of an emergency I had same day and I’ve been a patient ever since. The office is modern and very clean. The entire team is professional and knowledgeable. Thank you Winter Park Vision Specialists!

Have taken my son here a few times. Doctors are kind and thorough, but the receptionist was rude and very condescending to me when I called to get an update on my sons glasses.

The place its very clean and the doctor is very nice. One of the nurses made a comment about my medical condition that I rather not pose but everything else was fine.
