Employees are super unprofessional. I was on my way out of town & needed to pick up a single item I had forgotten. Five mins after the store opened, I put my item on the counter to purchase. I didn’t want to assume the employee had an attitude as she told me to wait to turn the register on. After a few minutes, her coworker walked in & the young lady said to her, “why are people here & just ready right at 11 o’clock?” By then it was 11:08 & the employee responded by telling her a story about a nagging “early bird” customer yesterday. So rude & inconsiderate. Save that kind of talk for your break!

Between Sephoras and the whole JCPenneys there was not one salesperson anywhere or a register shop for an hour and nowhere to pay or no one to help me check out put everything down and walked out if I can answer zero Stars I would sorry to say

Staff did not greet anyone that walked in and out of there. Would rather talk about personal matters amongst one another rather than help someone at the cash register. Boyfriend and I waited for over 5 minutes ready to check out. While two staff saw us waiting but continuing to chat about their lives. Until after 6 minutes I was fed up and asked the three staff if someone is at the register to help check us out. One of the other staff working there talked at me and my fiancé. Yes, she talked AT US, like if we were children instead of efficiently communicating nicely for us not to touch things in the store due to covid. I miss the old staff that use to be there. The new staff they have no clue about customer service. Definitely will be making the trip to the Sephora in Springfield or ULTA. They should be grateful they have a job, JCPenny these kind of employees will cost your company to lose money. Since after seeing some reviews I’m not the only one who got poor customer service. I usually hate giving bad reviews and do not do them. I had to come on here though after the hostile and rude service my boyfriend and I received yesterday.

I should give them negative star. The worst staff ever who didn’t even know how to talk to customers. I don’t know why they have this kind of behavior like they are paying for my purchase. Hate hate hate this Sephora staff ! Wake up you guys and give some respect to your customers because of them you are getting your salary every month ! I’m not sure why this Sephora has such horrible reviews. I went in and the service was excellent. The workers were incredibly helpful, observant and honest about their products. They were also very kind and patient with me as someone who doesn’t know a ton about makeup. I left very happy and was pleased with everything I purchased.

I have great experience every time I went there. Every one is nice, and helpful. I’m not a person who wants attention consistently, I like to pick my own stuff and if I need help I will ask for it, and every time I asked I got it at this store. Return policy is great. I can bring anything that I don’t like, even I used the product, with the receipt of course, in between 3 months of purchase. They took everything I had to return and I got full refund.Very satisfied costumer.Thank you 😊

Went here to get new foundation. The rep who was putting makeup on me gave me foundation that is easily 3 shades too dark and it didnt show until I left the store because of their lights that make everything look okay. How can you sell someone a product knowing that it may not be correct. I spent 109 dollars on a product that doesnt match. I now have to return the product and hope the next rep isnt as careless.

I went in there the other day to get color matched. The girl sat me down and she ended up dropping foundation all over my new work skirt. Not to mention I was working I was on break. She said sorry, yet didn’t try to help me get out my stain or anything! The stain didn’t end up coming out. She then went back to color matching me while she was some other lady kept coming over to tell her to hurry up someone else was waiting. That really pissed me off. Then after she got done color matching me she handed me the brush to FIX MY OWN MAKE UP while she went and helped the other girl. Also they had enough girls there to help the lady waiting. I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN. Don’t waste your time or money people.

Rather disappointed in this location. The only girl working was with customers and unable to ring anyone out for a good while. I was there to purchase a fragrance as a gift, when the young lady was finally able to get to the register, she ripped the sensor of the fragrance that tore the packaging. Didn’t speak, didn’t apologize for tearing the packaging, just tossed it in a bag- which was a plastic handle bag, not the Sephora bag (a small detail, if everything was your typical Sephora quality- the bag wouldn’t even be mentionable). Will not be returning here.

I didn’t want to ask for help from either of the 3 employees there since they all had very bad attitudes. I witnessed “Connie” have the worse one yet with a costumer who kindly asked if they had a shade of lipstick and she replied with an annoyed and short “no”. I’ve worked in retail and I know it sucks, but you suck it up and do your job and at least try to deliver some good customer service.

I called Sephora 3x trying to schedule a makeup appointment for a special ocassion that I have coming up and each time I’d call the “employees” that worked there would tell me that the schedule wasnt out yet for that specific date that I was requesting and told me to call middle of the week so I called today and asked once again if they had their schedule out yet and the lady told me that the schedules had been out already since last week ????? And that they where already booked for that date that I wanted ??? I said how is that possible ? I have been calling you guys asking in advance if I could book for that date and all of a sudden everything is booked ? LOL you have to be kidding me NEVER AGAIN will I waste my time here ! Customer service is EVERYTHING and if that’s the way you all treat customers that’s pretty sad .... this place makes the whole store look bad .. PLEASE PLEASE replace your employees and teach them some customer service skills .

Wish I could give this Sephora Zero Stars!! If a product is broken after purchasing from this store you are unable to exchange it?? Seriously UNBELIEVABLE! The Manager Liza is so rude and the girl she hired at the front register has the biggest attitude ever. STAY AWAY from here. This dumb cashier tried to tell me I was getting the wrong shade of pomade for my eyebrows when Ive been getting the same thing for years. Meanwhile her eyebrows looked a mess and the rest of her makeup did as well. Shes lucky I didnt just say screw it and go get a manger for trying to talk me out of buying something.

If there was a zero star option I would use that instead. The customer service at this sephora is absolutely terrible, with employees filled with rude attitudes and girls who are too full of themselves to see what the customer wants and do not know how to treat another person with some decency. I used to be a regular customer at this sephora who has spent hundreds upon hundreds of dollars there but they will no longer be gaining my business.

I am so disappointed ...once more, I have gone to your store sephora located in Woodbridge, and they completely ignored my request to be helped on info on their products, they acted as if I couldnt afford to pay for their products, (and even if that was the case, which is not ) they still need to be able to provide service to their customers )that was the second time theyve done that and it will be my last visit to this store!!!..They really need to have some sort of trained staff... or skills on how to assist their customersAtte : unsastisfy customer .

I currently live in Woodbridge, VA, closest to the Sephora in JC Penny in Potomac Mills. I recently went to this store in an effort to return a damaged eyeliner. Upon entering the empty store, I found three employees speaking with one another. I was not greeted or asked if I could be helped with anything for 20 minutes and it seemed as though they were too busy speaking with one another to help a customer. When I finally got the attention of one of your employees, I was treated rudely and felt attacked as all three of the employees chimed in on the conversation, even disrupting their interaction with other customers. I unfortunately did not have a receipt, which I understand can be a problem and the employee at first refused to return the item. She then went around and asked multiple people in the store including customers if it looked like I had 90% of the product left so it could be returned. She refused to look at my beauty insider account either. Other customers in the store apologized to me for the poor surface and near bullying I experienced during that time. I appreciate what Sephora stands for and can understand the rules and regulations imposed on this transaction, but at this point despite having multiple gift cards to your store, I would rather spend money elsewhere such as Ulta to buy my beauty products. I am very disappointed with my experience and will not return to be humiliated and bullied again.
