Manager on duty 9:30 pm 10/16/21 was fairly rude and really didnt know his store. I asked how much off patio furniture would be if they had any since it was clearanced out. He said 75% off, when I had him scan a patio chair that I found, his tone changed and said the price is the price as it rang up regular price. Not sure if he wanted it for himself or what. I do usually like this store and find what I need, but 1 bad experience and my previous review gets deleted and a new review written. Come on Home Depot, you can do better with promoting management.

Mark in The appliance section was very great to work with today. He was very knowledgeable about the washer and dryer sets we wanted to compare and gave us a lot of helpful information. He made the process of picking one out that we liked and purchasing very quick and easy.

Easy peasy getting sod and soil conditioner. That said, if the stores solution to not having cash register people and floor workers is a kiosk, very flawed. I had to wait in a long line to check out. Hire enough help to support customers. I am not an extension of your spare time. Your company is in black so invest in help.

Visited this store looking for a drill bit to cut through marble...not sure what to get, I asked an attendant for help. O my goodness, the attendant (name withheld) was so helpful and cordial, and when she could not fully answer my questions, she went and got someone more knowledgeable to help me. I may have to change States just to shop here...

I originally wanted a full size fridge which wasnt in stock and was about to leave the store but was convinced to buy a compact fridge instead.He took his time to show me other options and which would be best fit for my apartment. 5 stars for Mikes attention to customer service needs!

The store is kept clean and organized, and customer service is good, especially compared to other Home Depots I have visited around the country.The nursery plants are typically immature and most end up dying within 3-6 months, so I no longer by plants here. Lowes across the street provides much better quality plants.Online order pickup in the past has taken too long. Often times they can not find the order when I arrive and have to re-pick it while Im waiting. This defeats the point of ordering online as I could just walk down the isle and pick the item in less time than they typically can.The paint department is great. It gets busy at times, so avoid the weekends if possible, but they have always done a good job with color matches, even for old colors they havent carried in a while.Ive done some custom orders for blinds/carpet etc and had some issues. I think thats more related to the supplier than the store though. The store will not custom order items they do not stock normally though, so if youre looking for a specific part they dont carry, youll likely have to go elsewhere.The staff here is a mixed bag. All are typically friendly. Some are helpful and know where things can be found and can even provide in depth assistance on a product or project, while others are unfamiliar with the store layout, and dont seem to know what a hammer is.

For years Ive been a loyal customer of Lowes but they didnt have (or couldnt help me find) a certain size of board we needed. When we came over here and asked Jimmy in the Lumber area for help, he immediately lead us to the right trim boards, measured and cut, advised on the right nails to use, etc. At Lowes, I walked around looking for someone to help me for 20 minutes. Here, I was immediately and thoroughly helped. Jimmy was awesome!

Emplyee buy the self check out was more interested in flirting with his co worker than helping, sent me to the opposite end of the store where another rep slightly helps a bit more but you’d expect the employees to guid customers to a product for purchase. Went to Lowe’s, way better service and they helped me find a product for purchase

The parking lot is always a mess. The store itself is fine, with a lot of parts available and some of the more DYI stuff misplaced but in the approximate section of where they should be. The lumber section is usually well stocked.

Home Depot, has never done me wrong until now. I ordered a washer and dryer from them which are scratched up on the side where they but up against each other and shouldnt have been put that close in the first place. My wife said these marks werent there when they were installed. My wife cant see anything without her glasses and shes lazy; however, we only had the washer less than six months and its already leaking. Its still under the manufacturers warranty, but when the manufacturer sent someone out, he disrespected my appliances by throwing his drill on top of the dryer and not maneuvering the washer in such way not to cause damage. I will never again buy a Samsung Appliance, because its still leaking, after they sent someone out. They will be here Friday, 25 April 2021. I had to go and buy a drain pan for my washing machine, which is first ever for me. Maybe I shop at LOWES from now on.

No shopping carts, person tasked to bring them in didnt want to go out in the rain. We walked by several carts that the staff were using (i.e. just left in the aisles with incomplete restock items), emptied the few remaining contents, and used it.We wanted to ask about blind services, sat down, started the conversation, and then waited while another patron interrupted and the worker had a two minute conversation with the other patron while we had no choice but to wait.Finally, they were out of medium packing boxes and the worker we asked for directions to other boxes was very unhelpful.The only bright spot was the gentleman worker who efficiently guided us to the spackle we were seeking.Poorly managed store with low morale or just our bad luck running into most of the bad workers?

Everything was disorganized in the section of the store we were in. Went to check out on the side of the store where the lumber is (we had some trim and other items) and went to check out. The employee was just standing there, literally doing nothing, so we went to him to check out. He asked if we were pro members and we told him we werent. He said he couldnt help us. Thats great customer service right there. Yet another reason why I prefer Lowes over Home Depot.

I ordered some window blinds and they were not cut to order and.the instructions were written inside mount not outside mount. It took me 8 days to get the blinds another 5 days before the installer had an availability. Now that the blinds have to be cut who know how long that is going to take before it gets corrected.

Unfortunately, I regret coming to Home Depot to get my vinyl floors installed. I’ve had very poor service and I can’t believe the lack of care I’ve received for my installation appointment. I hate even going this route but maybe this will get someone’s attention. I was suppose to get my vinyl floor installed last Monday. The installers came to the house and observed my floor and since I had hardwood floors underneath, they said an asbestos test should have been done by the Home Depot guy who came out to measure and give a quote. Well that was NOT done. So, they left and said they have to wait for the test to come back. That was 8 days ago. I’ve called the installers company once last week and was told “ test isn’t back yet “.. I called Home Depot today to see if they could find out what the hold up is since I haven’t received any calls back and he said he said he would make some calls and get back to me, that was 7 hours ago and no call back. Home Depot also charged me extra for an appliance to be moved and the installer said to call them and have them refund me. When I called today I told the guy this and he said he would get it taken care of but I have yet to receive a call back. Needless to say, I have no toilet in my downstairs which I had to pay extra for someone to come out and remove because Home Depot doesn’t remove toilets during installation and my dining room is in disarray due to me moving everything off the floors and tables. I just want my floor installed !!

We went into get a garbage disposal where it showed 143 units in stock asked for help four times nobody came after 25 minutes of waiting we left worst customer service experience EVER! There were employees EVERYWHERE other than attending to customers, we will take our purchase to LOWES... went to LOWES product on shelf made my purchase all within 5 minutes. Home Depot was a total waste of time.

I had curbside pick. It was fast, maybe a five minute wait. The lady also helped me place my items(bathroom vanity) in the back of my truck and also reminded me to check the bag to be sure all of the smalker items were there. Overall good experience.

We have given up Lowes. We feel invisible there. At Home Depot we always have been greeted at whatever section we are at and all our questions answered. As a result in the last year and a half we have purchased a washer, dryer, dishwasher and tonight a lawnmower from Home Depot. We had an exceptional young man help us tonight and his name was Daniel. So nice, helpful, and pleasant.

There was a line but you moved in pretty quickly. Masks are required. There are plenty of items I didnt notice things out of stock except decking boards and 4x4s that are pressure treated. I would call ahead for those items. They have a military discount which was nice and the checkout lady was extremely friendly and helpful. Only docking one star because the door guy was not very friendly, but they had lots of doors to pick from. Cost $79 to have them deliver and $148 to install it. So bring a truck and put it in yourself.

The home depot located at 14025 Foulger Square in Woodbridge VA has Terrible Customer Service. I came to the store ready to spend several thousands of dollars on all new appliances, and walked out very upset. This is the first review Ive ever written about anything. Im that upset, and the service was that horrible from the management down to the staff. I spent an hour looking at appliances without help, while the staff talked among each other and texted on their phones. When I asked for help from a staff member at a computer terminal, she looked at me and continued working. When I asked to speak to a manager, she told me she was helping someone. The person customer beside her was wearing orange, so I thought he was part of the staff. I apologized to both of them, but expressed by dissatisfaction with the way she handled herself. He shrugged. I went to customer service to request a manager. An Asian gentleman showed up stating that he was the manager. We were both wearing masks, and it was noisy, so I moved closer to him expressing my dissatisfaction. He didnt listen to my complaint before asking me to step 6 feet away from him. I complied, and continued to explain my issue as he struggled to hear my now shouting voice, before I was cut off by him again. He asked if I wanted him to help. Reluctantly I agreed, and we walked back to the appliance section, where he immediately handed me off to a guy I had previously seen ignoring me. The manager then left, and the staff member began to refer me to check their website for the appliances I wanted. I thanked him and left extremely upset to the point that I am sitting in their parking lot writing my first review of any business. My hope is that corporate will read this review, realize how much money they are loosing, and do something to reform the quality of service this home depot provides.

NEW REVIEW: I had some Home Depot gift cards which drew me back to the store (red flag already). I purchased a $900 Husky industrial tool chest combo and scheduled delivery for another $80 since I was not going to be home and didnt want my pregnant wife to worry about anything. Upon delivery, the delivery driver asked my wife, who is 8 months pregnant, to help him push a 500 lbs tool box up the driveway, instead of identifying ahead of time that 2 (or more) people would be required for unloading such a heavy item. As mentioned, I was not home at the time, but when I got home I began inspecting the item and putting it together. I immediately noticed this was the floor model I looked at, as it was covered in a thick layer of dust. No big deal, its a toolbox, I gave it a quick wipe down and moved on. As I was putting the non-slip mats in each drawer, I noticed several drawers had residue from some type of adhesive, to which they dried up and forms long drip marks in the drawers. Once again I told myself its a toolbox, itll get dirty and found some adhesive remover to wipe down the residue. I continue assembly and my eyes are drawn to one of the locks, inside of which is the remains of a broken key. Now I cannot lock the bottom half of the chest. My attention has piqued and now Im just looking for what else is wrong. Upon further examination, I notice both of the chords for the power strips have deep scrapes/gouges as if the tool chest was pushed up against a wall, pinning the chord between the chest and the wall, and subsequently dragged along the wall. Last but not least, the model I purchased is supposed to have a light strip on the top. The USB power chord for the light strip is there but, wait, whats that? The light strip is missing! I will attempt to contact the store to find some type of compromise to all the above, but will more than likely be traveling a bit further to a different Home Depot location, or even go right across the street to Lowes instead.Writing this review while I am still currently at the store, that’s how horrendous the paint department is. We waited at the paint desk for roughly 20 minutes before being helped. After being helped with our 4 samples we requested, we have stood here waiting for another 45 minutes. To get 4 samples. The headache could have been alleviated by a simple “we will be right with you” and a “your sample will be right up, thank you for waiting”. Yet we stand here in the dark waiting. Minimal customer service and interaction from the employees to remedy any inconvenience.Update: they took 45 minutes to figure out and tell us they didn’t offer 1 of the requested sample colors. The wait goes on.

DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE FOR DELIVERY OR PICK UP.My husband has been trying to purchase a shed kit from this store location since April and Home Depot has consistently cancelled his order and refunded his money without explanation. It took him ordering it from a different store to finally pick up the part they had 2 weeks ago! Now last week he order plywood...yep...PLYWOOD...for the floor of the shed from this location because the site showed hundreds of sheets available. He ordered what he needed for deliver on Monday 6/8 because that was the earliest he could get it. Order was never pulled to be put on a truck for delivery. Order status was showing that it needed to be pulled at the store for delivery. For the 2nd time this week he had to reach out to the 800 number because no one can answer a phone, sat on hold for an hour before a customer service person answered, and they were able to reach someone with a direct number. The store said yes we have this product in stock and customer service told him to go to the store, give his order number and they would give him his product. He’s been gone almost 2 hours. Was in the store to purchase 1 thing and pick up his order and after making his purchase they told him he needed to go back outside to get in line to go back in to pick up his order. Now he is being told that he needs to go to another location for that store to fill his order. We will NEVER shop at this location EVER again.

Seems like the HD is slanted toward PRO users now. Dedicated parking, dedicated checkout, and associates hanging around waiting for a PRO member to show up, while I waited in a long queue.I went to get lumber, and there were no carts - all of them were used up with online orders, and stacked down the lumber aisle in front of where I needed to get wood.Also, the parking lot is a mess.Not going again if I can avoid it...

A few weeks ago I went with my two young children to buy a replacement for the plumber who was fixing a water leak in my house. As a woman, I dont understand much about tools and parts. The staff members at the carpet department are not helpful. They cannot be found at their desk for most of the time and will not come even when called by their colleagues and are not willing to answer questions and explain the products so that a customer can make purchase decision. I bought carpet here finally as they did my carpet measurement and already charged for that but promised to credit the measurement fee when the purchase was done. The lady who processed my transaction lied to me that she credited the measurement fee using a code that I cannot see but when I came home and calculated my bill I realized that she did not credit the fee. The customer service needs to be improved and the store cleanup and straighten up are highly needed here.

I had called Home Depot on Sunday to ask if they could spare a pallet. They had indicated that I could get one, but I would need to come in Monday morning and go to the service desk to inquire. The service lady that helped me was names Darnella, she was absolutely excellent! She actually offered to get a the flat cart and then went to the back to get the pallet. I asked her, if she wanted me to go, but she insisted I wait at the counter/register she would be right back. She had the pallet then she asked if my car was parked out front? I would have to pull it up. She asked would you like someone to help put in the car for me. I thought I could manage myself, but she insisted once more that she thought we both could get it in the car. We did!I was so impressed with all of her determination to help me in every way. Excellent customer service. You don’t get that kind of service anymore. So I wanted to let Home Depot and others how wonderful and polite in every way. Thank you again Darnella!!!
