I didn’t physically go to the store but I called to check if they had a product I needed and Henry was a huge help. He checked how much of the product they had, both on the shelf and in the back, gave me the amount they had on hand, and even put it aside for me so I could pick up the next day. Excellent customer service, I’m very glad he was there to help me out.

Found cute things even for our two cats at home for this Halloween, loved the variety and prices as well.

This review is mainly for online shopping. Don’t order online because the inventory is not accurate!! I had went ahead and placed my order for 2 different locations because online was reflecting that one of the two items that I wanted was out of stock at one location and vice versa. When I got to the store though, they actually did have both of the things I wanted in stock. Such an inconvenience since they couldn’t just transfer my order. On the other hand, do go inside and order/shop because they looked fully stocked and the customer service was good.

Came on a Saturday morning before Fathers Day. Busy, but clean. Aisles were a little crowded but well-stocked. I needed balloons. I was helped quickly - would critique in that I didnt know where I was in the queue as to when they would be done.

Typical party city. The staff is nice. I feel like their selection of party supplies has diminished. Im glad theyre still in business.

The Party City in Springfield is so much better organized, staffed, and easier to navigate. This location was a MESS.

On the plus side, they have just about anything you could think of for a party. Now to why I disliked it -- from entering the store 40 minutes after they opened, I felt like this would not be a good experience. In the foyer area, there was a hand sanitizer dispenser with no sanitizer to get. Most troubling as you had to touch two sets of doors to get inside. Thankfully, there were wipes once in the store. There was a large clearance aisle, but it was difficult to determine what was actually on sale.Finally, after the distraction of so many offerings, I got to the section I wanted - air filled balloons. But to my horror, an employee was there, maskless. So I opted to go elsewhere for balloons. But I still needed to pay for my sales. At the register, I was moved three times before I finally got to a functioning one.What an experience😜!

Very disappointing experience. Had preordered balloons and other party items for curbside pickup. Though we received message that everything was ready, staff could not find the order. After waiting outside for 15 minutes we had to go into the store only to discover that many items were not available. Staff didn’t express any concern about the error. We will not do business with this store again.

Nice place buy kid of expansive.

I give this place a low rating because staff were unable to use integrity as a guide for keeping customers safe. If you can only squeeze past a guest because stick is blocking half an aisle, then you, the staff, uses a different aisle.On top of that, one register was in use on a Sunday afternoon while there were managers present and 6 people in que. I left my planned purchases and left. You can do better.

Before tonight‘s visit if anyone asked me about this location I would’ve given it a one star. However after visiting tonight, Yaneris is helping me I have to give this star five stars. This young woman was so very helpful, so kind, and even gave me more detailed explanation on the products and other services party city offers. Because of this young woman, I will always come back to this party city and I will always give it five stars. What a valuable asset to this company.

Go here if you like your order to get screwed up! Then you can call and ask for the manager and they’ll make you wait on hold and never come to the phone. I can’t wait to go back.

Party City was crazy busy when I got there to order balloons. I had to have them so I was prepared to wait in line and for it to take forever. I was surprised when the line (about 5-6 people) only took about 10 minutes to get through. The young lady who helped me was very patient as I wasnt 100% on which balloons so I asked several questions. She got me taken care of and I figured Id have to come back in an hour or two. Wrong again. They had them ready by the time I got through the checkout line to pay. I definitely recommend calling ahead, but if you get in a pinch like I was, this place rocks! That was over a week ago and the balloons look like they did when I bought them. Thank you for making me look good Party City!

Horrible and rude customer service and they do not honor Party City Corporate website return policy, which states, Halloween Return Policy:We will gladly accept returns and exchanges within 30 days of purchase from initial receipt. Package must be unopened. Returns on Halloween costumes, Halloween decorations, and Halloween accessories by Saturday, October 24 with original receipt. Only exchanges will be accepted after October 24 with original receipt. When I purchased my costume from Woodbridge Party City the day before Halloween, there were no signs at the counter stating all purchases are final. The store receipt does not state all sales are final. The store manager rudely told me their store sets their own policy and no, it is not written anywhere in the store or on the receipt because they do not have to advertise since they are a franchise. Manager ended with stating, they make their own policies and walked away. I will never shop at any Party City again. This is another reason why Amazon Prime purchases are the only way to shop. Amazon gives their Prime customers the respect they deserve. You can purchase with trust and confidence, if your plans change, you will receive a hassle free full refund on any Amazon Prime return.

This is by far the worse Party City (store 167) in the area. The customer service is horrid. I only come here because of distance but at this point, I’d rather drive out of my way for proper customer service. The cash register associate literally looked me in the eye and walked away from the register and “huffed” when she decided to take my return. I handed her my merchandise and she kept her hands in her pocket and only wanted receipt. As soon as she saw Stafford, Virginia on the receipt (30 mins away) she called the manager. The manager, Victoria came to the register and without looking at my merchandise, the cashier said, “It’s from Stafford” to which the manager responds, “Oh we don’t have this”. Again, no one even looked at my merchandise. Horrible. I have basic party city items that I already saw was in their store.

Really really great service. Ordered a curbside pickup but wasn’t quite available to get it before close and they WAITED!!!!! and let me come pick it up for a last minute party favor same night! Really really kind and didn’t need to do that, also a great price for sparklers!!! Victoria was very generous and accommodating even past closing hours- which they absolutely don’t have to do. So grateful for the kind act, really made my night.

This store have rude employees and I see where they get it from; their rude manager - Jeanette. I called to place a balloon order and was disconnected 4 times. When I requested to speak to the manager the employee that was taking my call said she was busy abs hung up. I called back to speak with a manager and then Jeanette came on. I explain to her the situation that has transpired and she didn’t even offer an apology or anything. Instead she justified for the employee and then kept cutting me off. As I was explaining to her the proper way to handle customer service she then hung up. This is a very poorly ran store that I have ever seen and corporate should go in and get rid of all those employees that work on Friday, October 30.

Store is stocked with lots of St. Patricks Day and Easter items. Staff at the balloon counter were very helpful and quick.

Terrible service. Kids that are working there have no idea what they are selling. The store looks like an old dollar store. Musty and I had enough saying... expensive products as other stores would sell at a fraction of the price. Sorry, it is not party city but it is dirty bad city...

I placed an order on online to have my balloons inflated by 12. I waited hours before heading to the store to attempt to pick up my order. I arrived and the store was a mess! My order was never filled and I had to wait almost 30 extra minutes just to get my balloons blown up. Then I get home and just about all my balloons were deflated. I’m very upset. Either someone giving me my money back or I need a free set of balloons for the service I encounter yesterday.

The staff was great and attentive. The young lady customized my balloons very well. The store was clean and not crowded, due to covid restrictions. The employees were protected as well.

First off, I’m not the one to leave bad reviews but this experience was by far the worst customer service ever. Came a little earlier to pick up an order, I was willing to wait for my order to be done but rudely told me (as walking away with eye rolls and huffing) it would be a 3 hour delay and there was nothing they could do, after waiting alone for 10 mins. There were 4 open associates not doing a thing either but standing at the balloon counter ignoring me. I’ve never received so much disrespect from a retail place.It wouldn’t kill you to not huff, eye roll, walk away when a costumer is talking to you.

During the pandemic pick up be prepared for your card to go in the store without your supervision! Probably not the stores fault but very unprofessional. Loved the balloons though

Had great customer service at Party City this morning. The gentleman who answered the phone was very helpful and I was able to add to my order last minute while I waited curbside.

This is the worst Customer service I have ever dealt with. I tried online ordering, but they never have it ready even though they send the email saying it’s ready. I tried curbside pickup, but they can’t find the order even though they send the email it is ready. I will never shop from here again, and I will stick to Amazon no matter the price.

Well stocked, and great prices. Even ordinary things you can find here for cheaper- tights, sunglasses, holiday stuff. However, they have lots of boxes of shipment out and it gets in the way of shopping.

The personnel is very rude in this store.The young lady who is preparing baloons is absolutely handless and doesnt care about the job she does.Extremely slow and no desire to work whatsoever. My helium baloons didnt make it to the next day.Absolutely disgusting service.

They have all kinds of balloons, costumes, and items for parties. I would advise getting costumes well before Halloween, but depending on your balloon needs, you can get them really quickly. All kinds of plates, party favors, napkins, and decorations for any occasion. If you cant find it on Amazon, this is the place to go.

I thought I would be a simple price match because it is there own website but I have been waiting for the manager to come back from going to check something for about 25 minutes. I went about a week and a half ago to buy early decorations for a birthday and I noticed you guys didnt have an item in stock. I asked this boy (very small) and sadly you guys didnt. He said he could get another store to transfer that object by that Thursday coming. Thursday came and I got a call saying that my item was here! Great workers even the cashier, i think her name is Ivi, she was the sweetest:)

Great service. I go to this location for any occasion. Ivy who checked us out was really nice and helpful and Karla in the balloon section was really helpful in customizing the balloon order and telling me exactly where other items I needed were located. Staff is always friendly.

This is a place that does not believe in customer service and regret spending almost $200 there. They make you feel like you are going to steal from there the moment you walk in the door and will lecture you about not following their processes that you know nothing about! One example was picking up the pre-ordered and prepaid ballons today. They were in the aisle and I thought you picked them up and went to the counter with your receipt (how would I know as it was never explained ). Instead I was yelled at and told me I should have known and waited for someone to get them for me and then told how people come in and steal balloons. Maybe be kind to your customers who actually thought picking them up as they are labeled and going to the register would be acceptable.

I tried to call several times and they refused to give me a refund because i didn’t call in time even thought i called them several times. I spoke with several people and they still refused. Worst party city i have ever been to and i will not be going back. Management is horrible.

I purchased a costume online and the return policy clearly states items bought online can be returned at any party City location. As a costume, this fell under Halloween items which can be exchanged at any party City location. The costume was too small for my son, so I took it to this location to return. They would not allow it. After reviewing the policy myself, I showed it to them and they finally agreed that the policy does allow for exchange. The online policy does not limit the exchange -- but this store did. They added a caviat that it could only be exchanged for another costume only (but they did not have this or a similar costume in stock). The online policy attached to my purchase does Not state this. The local store added it and would not comply with the return policy if my item. It was so frustrating and they were very unhelpful. The employees were rude and uninformed and it was not a pretty terrible experience. I wont go back or buy from party City again.

Employee flat out lied to me or was not properly trained to give an accurate answer about the return policy at the time of purchase. I asked about the policy for a reason and the manager had a complete lack of compassion when confronted with their own mistake. Ill just buy online next time.

Terrible customer service. No hospitality whatsoever. They make you wait for no legit reason, you ask to where things are located and they straight up with you attitude about it. I will not return to this place ever again. I strongly advice not to come to this store. The absolutely worse beyond words!!

Stopped by to look at costumes for kids. They had sign up front that said safe entrance was to right for children. Normal entrance may be scary for children. We tried to go right, but the door was closed. When we knocked to get employee attention, they acted inconvienced to have to get door for us and children. They kept telling us to use the normal entrance. Took a while before they finally came to door. If they dont want to open childrens entrance door, then dont have one.They have stuff, but not worth dealing with staff.

I have made multiple orders for balloons at this location without issues. They are reliable to have shower (baby and bridal) items in stock as well.

My experience with party city was okay. The cashier I had today is obviously there for a pay check. It was not even that crowded when I Was there. It seemed She did not want to get on the cash register and have to deal with the customers today, even still I greeted her and afterwards I thanked her.

They could not find my balloon order. They had to come up with another bouquet of balloons which only one balloon represents my daughters theme for her birthday party. They were very disorganized and had a lot of furious customers just complaining about there order not being ready on time. I do not feel like the bouquet of balloons is worth what I paid for the balloons off the shelf. But, I was ready to go because I had my cake sitting in the hot car and was there for 40 min waiting and I put the order in 3 days in advance. But, I will say this I would hire the young lady who was helping me today for my company because her customer service was great. They just need a better system in place for the balloons.

I ran in for a quick return from a purchase I made in Atlanta. The line moved quickly and the sales associate was really nice.

This is a cool place to shop. Alot of cool costumes. This place is packed with alot of stuff. I delivered here often. The receiving dock is small. Not to easy to hit . You basically have to break it down to deliver freight. There. O way to drop a pallet because dock is to small. Otherwise its a ok spot.

Not as stocked as the maryland stores. Aisles seemed to jammed. Not a very good atmosphere feeling to enjoy spending money. Had to ask for assistance 2x.
