I didnt allow my garage door to completely clear before backing out and knocked one side off track, so the door was stuck and wouldnt open. Thinking that I would need the entire door replaced, I called Local Garage Doors and asked Sean to come out for an estimate. He was able to come the very next day and told me that I didnt need a whole new door (which would have cost around $8000) and that he could repair it so that itll function again. He quoted me a very reasonable price to fix my door. He even said if he doesnt fix it, then he wont charge me. He ended up needing to replace a cable and didnt charge me for it. Sean was very professional, friendly, honest, and great to work with! I HIGHLY recommend using his services. Shawn, the owner of the company, responded very quickly with a quote after my Home Advisor inquiry, at which time I told him I was still waiting for other quotes. The next day he follows up with a discounted quote and a 10 year warranty offer. After getting other quotes not as reasonable as his, I proceeded to schedule the work with him. He was very punctual by showing at the appointed time and was very thorough assessing what needed to be done and discovered that my other garage door needed to have one of its springs and cables re-set. After I agreed for him to proceed with the replacement of the damaged tension springs, he advised that the pull wheels needed replacement in order for the doors to operate properly. He was very honest in his assessment of the problem and very thorough, not only installing the new springs, but tuning and adjusting both doors.
