I’ll start off by saying the ice cream here is great! A variety of flavors that were all delicious and cheap prices were amazing perks of this place. However, I’m struggling between 3 or 4 stars for this place because when my wife was eating her ice cream, about midway through, she came upon a plastic piece or what looked like it could have been someone’s fake nail or something. Anytime there is a hair in food or an item that doesn’t belong (like this fake nail) really does tarnish the image of the place in your mind. Which is really unfortunate because the ice cream was so good. I thought the staff were friendly and courteous (5 stars) the ice cream I got was tres leches (5 stars) the restaurant was clean but smelled heavily of cleaning product (3 stars) and the plastic piece in the ice cream was truly unfortunate (bad experience = 1 star). This rounds out to about a 3.5 star experience for this outing. If the plastic piece hadn’t been in the ice cream then this would have been a 4-5 star experience.
Wonderful icecream. They have every type of popsicle you can think of, with alot of upscale artisan flavors. Same goes for the ice cream you can have in a cup. I got a little of everything for my wife and kids. I myself, bought a banana split. As a person who enjoys a good banana split every once in awhile, the one I recieved here has, to date, easily been the number one Banana split I have ever had. So Ill explain what magic they made here, any the flavors of icecream, they have, I went with Vanilla, Chocolate, and strawberry. Then a banana, split in half on each side. Three ( vanilla, starwberry) wafers. The wafers are snuggled in next to the bananas, with nuts hugging the dessert like a precious moment in time they never want to miss. Then, the stripes of love shower in the form of a rich, velvety chocolate sauce, topped off with whip cream and maraschino cherry. Dont miss out, on a treasure of woodbridge with the heladeria.
I need to go back soon, super cute place inside and although Im no expert -- all of the ice cream and sherbet looked fresh made. Got the spiciest mangonada I ever had and it came with a scoop of mangonada sherbet on the bottom! WHAT?
Great ice creams, mangonadas always on point and the elite, but the staff just seems like they always have something up their butts. Just saying.
Love this place, best Mangonada ever.
Excellent traditional Spanish Ice creamery
Delicious icecream 🍦 😋
I have been to this place a lot of time ever since they opened. They have a variety of things in the menu besides ice cream. I would’ve given them 5 stars, but the employees are usually in a bad mood and I hate that sometimes they run out of ice cream for the Mangoneadas; which are one of my favorite things.
Ice cream is good but half the time I come they dont have our first option in stock. They do carry other snacks and delights so if your being forced to come for your girl but dont want ice cream, try something else. Line is always long as well just so you know.
I ordered and most of the things that were on the menu were not available. Would not recommend
Not my cup of tea ... also I dont think the quality was there
Excellent! The best in the area,on ice cream
One of the best michoacanas Ive been to. The have great mangonada, esquites, and paletas. Highly recommended
We made a pit stop here based on the convenient location. Service was fast. The ice cream just wasn’t good. The texture was thin and cheap. The flavors lacked intensity and were just off. We ordered triple chocolate, cotton candy, and vanilla. No one enjoyed it. Most of it went in the trash. We appreciated the service, prices and convenient location but won’t return.
The nieves are good but the elotes and the esquites👎.
This place is sooo gooooood!!!! Their ice cream, elotes are delicious. Reminds me of street corn in Los Angeles. Gracias por el excelente servicio!❤️
Some regular items not available or sold out.
Good place used to like this place but I think that there are new workers who are very slow, I was waiting for a full hour for them to prepare an ice cream in which they did not give me with any of the flavors that I ordered and also do not wear gloves to prepare.
I had a Mangonada. Mango ice cream Real mango chunks chili lime salt goodness in a cup. Was Delish! All different fruits and flavor combinations.
Their banana split was delicious!
Never again will I come to this place, the employees has a nasty attitude when i asked a question. I ordered corn on the cob and one of the staff grabbed it without gloves. I also ordered the corn in the cup and when I got to the register they over charged me. The menu tells you one thing and the staff tells you another. They get you like that. At the end I ended up overpaying everything I ordered. The Michoacana down the street was way better and their staff was super polite. Too bad is not open anymore.
Best ice cream Ive had in a long time! The variety of flavors is amazing. Its is way beyond your typical chocolate/vanilla flavors. Plus you cant beat the prices for the quality of ice cream you get. Will definitely be coming back to continue trying more flavors. My favorite new hang out place.
Best ice cream in Woodbridge
This place is fantastic, reminds me of bring back in So Cal. Mangonada were superb especially with that pineapple ice cream. Numerous flavors of ice cream. Will definitely be going back. Extremely friendly staff..
Great ice cream here, very fresh with fruit in it. The corn in a cup with mayo, cheese and chili is very tasty. Ordering can be an issue as most of the staff speak very little English
The service here was very welcoming, very humble lady at the front desk and she took the time to bring our dessert to our table. Short staff but the wait is worth it. They also have a variety of things to offer besides ice cream which is a plus. Can’t wait to come back and try the rest.
If I could give this place zero stars, I would. My family and I always come to this place to get mangonadas and esquites but there’s always this one worker with such a disgusting attitude. Every time we went we would see her treating her customers poorly and then it happened to us and we called to make a complaint to the manager and I could hear her and her fellow coworkers laughing over the phone at my request to speak to the manager, the manager told us she’d speak to the employee but I seriously doubt it because I am almost 100% sure they’re related. My family and I will NEVER spend a single penny at this place ever again.
Great tasting, authentic mexican popsicles, ice-cream and snacks
This place is amazing! It is snack heaven with a Mexican twist. It is like transporting yourself to the local town plaza in a Mexican town. You will hear traditional Mexican music sometimes and at other popular music. It is always a happy place. Their ice cream is amazing and they have flavors you can only get in a Latin place. Their paletas are on point very flavorful and again, traditional Latin fruit flavors. Some of their other snacks are great especially if you like hot sauce/pepper. Their corn in a cup is my favorite. It must be 2000 calories but every once in a while who cares. You will love it. I get the large but they also have a small (you will regret not having gotten a large hahahaha). Check it out! Oh if you go late in the evening or weekends, prepare to be in line for a while.
This place is dope, great to visit on a hot aummer day.
Loved the variety of fruity flavors!. Had the tequila and the gansito cream scoops. Reminded me of Mexico!
Ive gone here a couple times and the service has always been okay but today I went in and brought a couple of my non Latino friends with me. The attendant that was there had the nastiest attitude for no reason. There used to be a menu on the screens (that alternated between picture too quickly to read ) but they did away with them completely for some odd reason. Now your left with having to guess or ask what all the flavors are and I know that can be a hassle for the employees but I mean its part of your job? So my friend wanted a mangonada but they were out of the mango ice cream and we asked to try the lime or strawberry instead and thats when she started to get an attitude. I was trying to describe the items to my friends but their is no way to do that if your not in the way of others, there were none behind us. There are no menus AT ALL, all they have are pictures of people eating the ice cream. I feel as if this is to drive out non Latino or even non Mexican customers. I checked on their website just now and they do I have one on there but why not in the store ??? I was really confused and bothered by that. The whole experience was very distasteful and I dont think Ill be coming back again. My friends and I were made to feel unwanted it was just a really ugly atmosphere. I was there today at around 2:30 - 3:00.
Love this place! They have THE BEST mangonadas, esquites and popsicles! The service has gotten better and the staff is much more friendly these days. The store is usually pretty clean, prices are fair and I also like that they have a few tables outside.Although they now have a second location in Manassas, this location has better tasting items (mangonadas and esquites.)
They need a little more friendlier staff, but the home made ice cream was amazing!
Tasteful icecream and mexican snaks.
Best ice cream Ive ever tasted in my life!!!
The ice cream is pretty good, with a good price, and they have a lot of flavors. They offer a bunch of neat little treats.
Deliciousness all across the menu! lots of homemade paletas, super yummy
I am beyond happy that this has come to my hometown. A hidden gem. EVERYTHING is delicious. My personal favorite is the tres leches ice cream. My coworker enjoy the ganisto flavor. My boss loves the mangonadas. GO CHECK THEM OUT!!!
It was a little confusing to know what to order, because the menu mostly only showed the ice cream flavors and scoop prices. I ended up getting a mangonada, which was lots of fresh mango, ice cream, chili, a special sauce, and a tamarind straw. It was great! The place was cute and spotless, and the woman behind the counter was friendly. Also pretty busy for a Friday night in February.
I LIKE EVERYTHING BUT THE PEOPLE WHO WORK THERE IS BERY RUDE I DONOT KNOW WHO MANAGES THIS PLACE BUT I HAD A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE AS USUAL I’ll SEE NEXT TIME HOW THEY TREAT ME
I can’t complain I love this place😋 the ice cream is so delicious🍦
Woah! Totally new to me and totally delicious. Definitely going back to try something new.
This place is amazing it Has a great and comfortable interior design it has delicious food mostly the ice cream it was spectacular the staff was super nice and overall a great place to go for a cold treat
Amazing. Ill go out of my way 30 minutes for it
Not even legit mangonadas. I walked in looked at what they were serving and could tell they werent the real deal. So, went to check out the other Mexican ice cream place that was across the street that happened to be better.
Workers are rude and need more practice at their job. The ice cream is good and the paletas as well. The elote preparado is made differently from what I am used to which in okay with, but the way it tasted was just disgusting.
I have not had ice cream that good since I was in Sorrento, Italy and had Italian gelato. La Neveria is not very fancy but their ice cream is absolutely amazing. I go there often.
I love everything about this place but the staff is always so rude, they talk to you with an attitude.
Love it. All types of flavors and they have more than just ice cream. They havent been here very long but I stopped by because i loved the one in Chicago.
Best ice cream place ever!! I highly recommended it!! Great flavor, great variety! You will not regret it! So delicious!!!
Esquite was amazing mangonada tasted like nothing but chile would not get again also go on a weekday bcuz it gets super busy on sat n sun
I loved this place! Reminded me of the ice cream shops in Mexico. Customer service was helpful and friendly.
I absolutely love this place their spicy corn is out of this world ... ice cream and much more
I love this place😍 I dont speak spanish but, I always feel welcomed and taken care of!!
Delicious ice cream! Minus one star only because the parlor smelled kind of weird and my son didnt like it so we ate outside. Lol.After reading some reviews, I see that they serve chicharones there, which would explain the meat smell at the ice cream parlor. Really good ice cream!
I love the ice cream and the corns. Call elote loco
Has a wide variety of flavors. Enjoyed it
La Neveria Michoacana is the best Mexican ice cream in the Woodbridge area!My family and I enjoy the mangonadas, esquites, and tasty popsicles! I recommend you this amazing place😋😋
Really Really Recommened Good A×× Food
A friend recommended that I should try the Mangonada. I ordered the Mangonada. And it was amazing!!! Great customer service. I will make this my “go to place”. Next time I’ll try their ice cream
Good ice cream.I Just have a suggestion,.it would be nice to have at least a list os a label with the flavor of the ice cream they offer.
Very nice place The staff are very Nice Top class Place
Great place to experience a Mexican style Ice cream shop.
Amazing place everything Taste Good. Highly Recommend. ANDRES great customer Service .
The ice cream is delicious. The ice pops too. Lots of flavors. They have loaded fritos and chichatrones as well as corn with cream, cheese and chile and mangonadas.People are nice. The place is usually packed.
Best icecream ever, always packed even when its cold outside.
Excellent Ice Cream Latin style, just please make the line run a little bit faster :-)
Place is loud and someone had to ask to turn the music down. I waited until they turned it down to get in. After that, the cashier lady was rude and refused to used a giftcard we had. Came with a lame excuse about the internet will go slow if she starts messing with the system. Honestly, I dont think shed know how use the system. Left no tip for being rude and I would never go back there and I recommend no one to go there.Ive chosen 1 star because I couldnt chose 0 star. They dont deserve it.
Customer service is disrespectful I walked up with my mom and the lady gave us nasty looks we asked for more gelato on our mangonadas then mango and the lady added more mango than gelato we later found tiny pieces of wood in our gelato you guys should be careful of what you serve people that’s nasty.
Love there Paletas! The mangoniada are great!
Best ice cream in the area. They have interesting flavors such as pinenut, tres leches, pistachio as well as usual flavors: strawberry, chocolate, mango. Service is always great and ice cream is amazing!
Great homemade ice cream, mangonadas, elotes en Vaso...all delicious!! Friendly staff too!!!
I dont care that I have a hard time with the menu ..... best best ... THE BEST
Great customer services and the flavor of everything it’s amazing. Highly recommended!!
All I can say is, DELICIOUS!!!!!!! #LoveBeingMexican
So good...I live in MD and drive almost an hour to get all their deliciousness!
It’s really good here, but customer service is super bad. I always ask for a chocobanana and they seem to “never” have any, when it’s literally on the counter, I’ve asked it chocobanana every time i come.
Went there today, 4/23/17 Went out of my way to find this place and try their delicious looking treats. Got there at 5 min to 11am when they say theyre open. The lights arent on and it looks like no one is there. I wait until 11:05 and still it looks dark in there. I walk up and see theres two women inside so I walk in with a smile and ask if theyre open. I get the rudest look and stare and finally she mutters yes I order and the lady hardly even looked at me. No smile no small talk. I can see that the two women are obviously annoyed im there. They constantly exchange snooty glances at each other. I got a mangonada and the mango was not ripe at all. Everything else was tasty but I will NOT be going back. Horrible service. Very unwelcoming.
Customer service is horrible. There’s no greeting when you walk in, not even when you approach their counter. You just get a bad vibe from the workers. I was overcharged. Been to michoacanas before and this one was by far the worse. Never again.
Everyone is super friendly and the ice cream is better than Baskin Robins and stone cold (personal opinion) they have a good variety of things.
Great ice cream and South American treats!
Omg it was AMAZING and oh my god the flavers are amazing and great customer service and everything I can rate it a 10 star I would!!!😀😀😀😍😍😍😳😳😳😳😻😻😻❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤💓💕💗 wood totally recommend to go to!!!!!!!
They need to have a menue for those that are not native.
Very good product and service
Great spot for Mexican frozen treats. Mangonadas are great, and you can get an elote loco, or chicharrón preparado as well. Lots of delicious ice creams as well. The older staff is a bit grumpy but the younger staff was pleasant and generous with portions. A wonderful spot for unique treats.
I drive 1 hr to get this great ice cream . I love it
Great treats, sucks tha they dont have an actual menu.It would help new customers a lot, especially customers not really familiar with all the variety they have.
Good ice cream....services is less than ok.
Best Popsicle you ever had!!
Been there 3 times already. Fantastic ice cream!
The ice cream is authentic as Michoacan as possible. I took a Star for witnessing a word exchange with one of the attendants to a Customer. The Lady ordered a wrong portion size and favor and the attendant was rude to her and use a condescendent tone. As much as I want to support Latino commerce this behaviour prevents me from doing it
It was good but a little too overpriced.also the employees kept on making out. I dont think that looks good for their image...
