This is a great resource for building materials, nails screws, trim boards, windows, doors cabinets, and a hole lot more, Im surprised often by what I find there, all donated, and for a good cause, to help low income families get into a home they might not otherwise have had the opportunity to do. I donate myself as well as my employer, Rockford construction, at times, I end up purchasing stuff they have donated and it makes me smile, I feel like I have to tell everyone, hay Rockford construction donated this stuff, thats where I work, anyway, I love this store, and the alpine store as well. If you need something and you can maybe get by with something used, Id shop this store before heading to the big box stores. Youll save money, as someone that loves to build things, I seem to dream up new things to do, and just going there, spotting something a lot of times gives me ideas, some people love to go antiquing, Im into the restore,

A good clean store with a decent variety of resale furniture and household goods. They had several sizes of new rugs 5x8 and 8x11 for a great deal. Multiple full cabinets sets for sale . Overall a well organized store.

Run down and want able to find anything we were looking for. I realize that its a resale store, but I expected better.

This stores prices are very high. Not sure what has happened, but the prices of items increased dramatically in the past few years. One item I selected,(flooring)was priced higher than new flooring at Menards..same exact flooring.

The only thing I bought here was gas at self serve. The area was well cared for

My first trip to the Restore. Wonderful place...so many items. Great prices and helpful staff. Why did I wait so long?

Dropped off donations. Not the most friendly person managing them. There was a wait to shop so I did not stay.

Boy had all the trimmings that I need it for my house I had boughten a kitchen set in there with all the cabinets all Im redoing my house its so beautiful need to go to the restore people great place to get things

Great selection of discounted home goods. Ive purchased tile, doors, paint, and fixtures on separate occasions. I love that all the sales go back into their mission of promoting homeownership to low-income individuals.

If you have time to look around, this place has the best prices for those who value their dollar.They have most of your needs for your home at prices where you will have enough left over to take out your loved ones afterwards to dinner or place of your liking going home satisfied with a smile having a very blessed night.

This place used to be way better. Now is a big mess. Everything looks bad and its really dusty. Maybe is just the there isnt enough volunteers or the manager needs to do a better job.

5:59pm door are locked and being guarded. I raced herr after work to see if I I could just pay for something I would need to pick up tomorrow. Was told the cashier is already counting down her drawer but was actively checking someone out. Ill be there when they open to buy what I would like to before someone else does but the people working here are not friendly

Found some great deals on things we needed. With a little bit of imagination one can build and do renovations for big discounts. The personnel were helpful and courteous. It takes some time to see what all is available.

Not priced to sell, priced to have a job 10 years from now, trying to sell it . No not know how to make money, must have quick turn over to make money, they dont have good manager to do that with, they have had good manager s in the past .

This was my first visit I this store and I spent several hours in there looking through all the items that they are selling... I was able to locate a few items that I couldnt find else where and the prices were very reasonable but some were not which surprised me... But overall it was a pleasant experience in shopping there and I plan to go back soon ...

I think my negative experience was my fault...I had been under the impression that you could find home improvement items for really low prices here. Because of the great work Habitat does, I also envisioned friendly helpful staff. We did see great prices on used washers & dryers, and some cheap flat screen TVs. Friendly & helpful not so much. Paint is cheaper at Menards/Walmart.

Habitat Restore has everything for your home needs. From doors to hardware great finds. They always have the basics but I like to visit because they get different things everyday. They have beautiful area rugs.

I always find something amazing here to repurpose somehow into decor. Intriguing find of the week: live edge wood planks (sadly, not cheap, but gorgeous) that would make awesome tabletops or counters; plus some intriguing bundles of veneer wood for $1 each that might make nice lampshades or whatnot.

This store is always great! The staff are always helpful and full of ideas. The deals are very good and you never know what you can find there.

This place is great if you need to do home improvement projects on a budget. The nature of the store means selection isnt incredible, so you cant be too picky. You also might have to keep checking back if youre looking for something specific that goes out the door fast.

One of the best Restores in the system, good selection of home related items at bargain prices. Staff is very friendly, store is clean and well organized. Habitat is a great organization, and the Kent County chapter is one of the best in the country.

This is an average 2nd hand store. Its a large place so they have a nice selection of things but its way too overpriced. There is all this hype about how great this place is but Im not seeing it. Maybe Im missing something...

Nice selection of area rugs (what I went there for). Very knowledgeable, patient, friendly workers! They gave great recommendations for my needs as well. I will be back and will be telling others about this place too!

They have some good deals. I have found this location is more expensive than the other locations in Kent County. A few items are priced same as Home Depot so best to check around before making a purchase.

Great place for homeowners and simple remodels/restores at best price. Granted its mostly used and /or blemished product(if new) but i seem to always find a gem or two. Its defiantly worth checking out first.

Huge selection of new construction materials and lightly used items. Check H for H for a great deal on cabinets, flooring, light switchs, area rugs, and more. I would go back for sure, if I were remodeling.

While the merchandise varies based on whats donated, they usually have a good selection of doors, sinks etc. Sometimes they have amazing kitchen sets with beautiful counters.

Awesome place to get home renovation things, bought a very nice 12piece set of cabinets for 500 dollars, I would have paid 1k to be honest, picked a full size school chalkboard for 25, will definitely be going back.

Nice clean and orderly. Not as good a selection as some of the others but enough that if you need to fix something at home you go there first. People very nice and helpful.

Kind of a cool place. Somethings are really overpriced however when it comes to the furniture and/or vanities and what not. Every once and a while ill stop in and grab a few things I need that I know they have like paint rollers and tape or something. They do have pretty decent deals sometimes on used quality kitchen cabinets if you are attempting a remodel on the cheapside.

An excellent source of supplies, materials, furniture, cabinets and appliances at steep discount prices...If i lived closer i would stop by 3-5 times a week because the inventory is constantly changing....Staff are always extremely helpful...Anything associated with President Carter is going to be reputiable.

Prices are too high for most items. Tried to get a price on some unmarked items and they seemed disinterested in helping. They should be willing to haggle on prices - not paying their full price for an used cabinet with mouse poop in the bottom of it.

Its a great place for paint and some odd and ends. Some times you can find a cool treasure. You just have to check often.

Great store, yes, and Im reading very similar reviews to what I think as well, prices higher than the Northern store on Alpine. Brand new home circuit breakers during Winter 2017, clearly lower price up North, but whatever helps families in need, which is the main focus. :) 2017-06-09
