This used to be the BEST place to come for begels. The jalepeno begel with avacado, cucumber and lemon pepper used to be amazing. When i got it today i was very disappointed! The begel had three Giant pieces of cucumber, barely any lemon pepper. Will not be returning. Will have to find another begel spot!

Of all the days to loose our order. My husband called in our order and when I arrived the line was very long. Understandable. When I got to the front they couldn’t find our order. She said we must have ordered from the other location. Drove to the other location and no order! I had my husband call the number he first called and it went to the Yorba Linda store! So our order was just lost. Normally not a huge deal but I brought our son with me who is Autistic abs he only knows the Yorba Linda store and did not understand why we were leaving. What a frustrating way to start our our morning. (Props to the Placentia location for stepping up and making our order super fast!)

This place used to be a bagel me and I used to love it. The new place is still okay but I feel that when it was bagel me they had yummier and bigger bagels.Still a good place to get a quick bite or your morning bagel just not as fresh as before

Food was good. Customer service was not good. Walked in to get a pick up order and one nice lady helped me out and she was very polite, however there was a group of younger girls who worked there that were chatting next to the register and ignored the customers who were behind me. The lady that helped me out had to tell them multiple times to stop their conversation and help the waiting customers. Very unprofessional. Not a good look for the business.

This place is a weekend staple for my wife and me. We love the breakfast bagel sandwiches and the cottage fries are always a popular item. If you’re planning on doing takeout, I’d recommend calling ahead and placing an order. This place can get very busy, especially on the weekends.

The staff was super friendly but very busy when myself and family visited. My burger was undercooked and took >15min to receive our food. Kudos to the hardworking owner, who not only took the time to empty the trash around the facility, while his staff ignored, but also was seen jumping into the kitchen to help out. Worth a shot. I prefer the jalapeño burger.

This was the first time to this location from a suggestion since I love bagels. The food was okay, it didnt taste that fresh but it was edible. The employee Mary was very serious and would not accommodate a simple request of putting cream cheese on a bagel breakfast sandwich which was odd because most other places would do that no problem. Customer service goes a long way, so does a smile. They delivered to our table fast but with the wrong bagel i wanted and we confirmed just before paying. I didnt complain because I didnt want to wait for them to create a new one, the bacon was burnt! Not even slightly overcooked but just burnt bacon which is surprising since it looked like it came from a package just like the eggs. I did request a side of cream cheese to put on myself since they would not add it to the bagel breakfast sandwich which took two seconds. The eggs tasted a little rubbery, they were not fresh and seems to be defrosted, warmed up and served under the burnt bacon. The power/energy bagel bar was good with simple strawberry cream cheese though, glad I ordered that since this breakfast sandwich was a fail.

Food was amazing, usually visit the one located in Placentia but I must admit the service is better at this one. My sandwich was wrong but I was hungry and it still looked delicious so I said it was fine. Only thing strange was the bill was higher than usual. Not sure if I was charged incorrectly or if the prices just went up. Two sandwiches, two fries, two drinks was nearly $40. Wish I would have gotten my receipt but wasnt given one and I didnt question it until now that Im reviewing them.

Try their Lox with fresh bagel! Its one of my favorite breakfast item. If you buy a half dozen fresh bagel, you get a small tub of flavored cream cheese. I usually choose lox cream cheese.

Had a lovely early morning breakfast. Loved my cinammon bagel with berry cream cheese and vanilla nut coffee. My hubby was impressed with an avocado toast bagel. Avalon was not greedy with the fresh mashed avocado, purple onion, diced tomatoes and jalapeño. Sat in the covered tent. Perfect meal to start our day.

Good burgers with what appear to be hand made patties. Not very busy so I was surprised that my two burger order took almost fifteen minutes. Like it here, but will try other local burger joints as well.

The Nutty Doodle coffee is the best. All the food items are great as well. My favorites are the Oatmeal and the cinnamon raisin muffin with peanut butter and bananas. The new impossible burger here is the best Ive had compared to say the burger king one.Nicole the manager is the best and the place runs great when she is there.

Things I love from Avalon: Strawberry Surprise Smoothy, the Coffee, and the Glazer Bagel Cinnamon Toasted. If you like cinnamon and sugar ask for extras on the side so you get enough for your tastebuds. 😋

A very cute and quaint little bagel shop! The service was nice and friendly, and they are fast to get your order ready. Very clean and organized, and runs efficiently. They do have seating indoors, and it wasnt over crowded. A good place to visit!

Took a son in and had cheeseburgers for lunch. REALLY good--unique bun if you will. Unfortunately, the place was busy and we had to sit at a counter which isnt what I wanted but oh well. Friendly staff and good food--wish the seating inside was bigger.

Bagels were great. My wife had a toasted sesame seed with cream cheese. I had a toasted everything bagel with creamed cheese. One of our party had a ham melt and one had a burger. All food was fresh made and very tasty. We will go back. You wont be dissppointed.

Avalon has a great selection of fresh and tasty bagels! They offer open face as well as traditional sandwiches and burgers on bagels. Ive not had a burger but their sandwiches are very good. They also have salads that look really good.During the 30+ minutes before closing they offer their bagels at half price!

Bring back the cooked apples !!!!

If you havent tried this place its definitely a good little hidden gem. Theyre probably the best bagels in North Orange county area. Its a small little spot. Definitely worth a stop

This place is by far one of my places to go to when I am in the Yorba Linda area. They make all kinds of sandwiches for breakfast and lunch. I had the bacon and egg omelete sandwich which was so tasty. Bacon was perfectly crispy and the eggs were not burnt. I love coming here because the outdoor eating area is very well shaded and kept very clean.

Amazing place to eat! Staff is wonderul and the service is quick. AND to top it off its not expensive. my wife and i have quickly turned this into a weekly place to eat.There is an item for everyone from just plain bagels to breakfast melts and sandwiches to french toast. Plus multiple flavor of coffee to choose from!Stop reading and just go!

I usually go to the Placentia location, but this location is good too. I have yet to order something I didnt like at either place. As far as Bagel places, I feel Avalon is the best choice.

This place is always fantastic the bagels are perfect I normally get this place sent to my work and never once had a issue and in personal is even better.

While my 3 year old is at her ballet class I was told by one of the moms this place was great for a bite. I had an hour to kill so Im here having the lunch special. A roast beef sandwich with avocado on a poppy seed bun.I grab an iced tea and sit on the patio while I wait for my sandwich. Its nice. Im in the shade, I can hear birds chirping and some girls gossiping near the entrance. Its nice. Then my food came.This is fresh, tasty and it come with some yummy crunchy bagel chips. The sandwich was on my plate just long enough for the picture I took to post on here.Next weekend when the little ones dance class is happening, Ill be here, trying another bagel sandwich and eves dropping on the crew near the door.

I always love their avocado specials and their PB shake. There is better coffee elsewhere but the bagels are super delicious!

Super cheeseburger! Sis had the club sandwich, which she really liked. We also had the cottage fries and onion rings. Definitely will be back. Looking forward to trying bagels and lox there!

Eat here once per week, tuna sandwich on sour dough bagel, for 10 years. Never get tired of it. Salad and burgers also best in town. Only bagel store with strawberry bagels.

This place is so amazing the food is so good! And the employees are very helpful, Laura and Marisa are my favorites! And Salvador is very helpful as well. Always making sure the customers are taken cars of!

The location is not very visible from the street. The food was good. The restaurant was exceptionally clean and the staff was courteous. I did not receive a receipt when I paid with my card.

Just discovered this place and its great. Whether you just want a quick bagel or a sit-down meal, this is a fun place. Big menu with reasonable prices.

Check out the breakfast special if youre trying to save a quick buck...and the food is always good..

Great first experience of the Food itself. Totally enjoyed the veggie breakfast bagel and chips with Apple sauce. Will definitely visit again on my next trip to Cali. Only issue was they forgot a few extras I ordered which never arrived when we got home.

They have Great breakfasts and I come here several days each week. The older lady is really sweet, very friendly and interactive with the customers, shes great. However, the younger blonde that works there in the morning just has an attitude about her ...I have now experienced this on several occasions. She rolls her at eyes at the older woman, she talks to customers as if she doesnt have the time of day. Shes just rude. The first few times I thought maybe shes just tired or having a bad day, but no...its been to many times now. As a customer I am bringing my service to you 3-4 days a week, and wont hesitate to take it elsewhere. She needs an attitude adjustment.

Amazing bagels, friendly staff, and I just had the bacon avacado burger. Wow! Better than most gourmet burger restaurants, and you can use a flavored bagel bun - cheese everything is awesome BTW. Definitely try their burgers and smoothies as well as their great bagels. And my wife love the coffee. Great little corner shop. Plus they have GLUTEN FREE BAGLES!

I cant rate the food, no one ever took my order. They seemed to be having problems with their computers, one girl was working on that while the other refilled things like napkins or something...completely ignoring me and a couple of other customers waiting to order. I get it if you cant take an order because youre having issues with your computer but at least acknowledge the customer that are waiting to order..sorry, itll be just a minute but the girl just seemed completely frustrated that she was going to have to reprint a bunch of orders and to hell with the people that have to wait. I dont know if Ill try again, probably not. Poor customer service.

Family Owned. I love the Everything Bagel (toasted ALWAYS...Oh Pleee-zee) sometimes with only creme cheese, and other times with Lox, Tomato, onion, capers ... You know the drill. Ohhh, and do lunch there also. Their Burgers stand tall as well.
