The staff is amazing and very helpful.
This is a great stop off when youre walking around town.
Its a liquor store just off EMU campus. Not really worth reviewing excpt to get Google to stop asking. Friendly clean and fun staff.
If I could give ZERO stars, I would! Do you know how bad (or good) of an experience I have to have in order to write a review??? They are rude and have no understanding or training on customer service. My boyfriend and I arrived well before “close” and the door was locked. No one answered but by the time we got back to our car, we watched them let another couple inside. At this point we are upset and can’t help but suspect this is a race thing because we were ignored prior to this. My bf tried again just to test that theory and was told “we’re closed” by whomever was working this specific shift (Saturday, closing shift). So I personally wanted to try because I couldn’t believe what I just saw. They also told me they were closed and I asked was that just for everyone else and not the people they were inside with laughing and talking... they said “he works here”. I don’t care who works where. I was there prior to close and I expect to walk in during promoted business hours. If employees are unable to keep up with their responsibilities, management needs to fix it. If the problem is management, they need help too.At the end of the say, they are rude. They don’t care about people spending money in their store. And oh, they sell alcohol to minors ;) I started at EMU in 2014 and nothing has changed since.
I like that girl 👧 with the glasses, and the cold beer is good too, but she da coldest 🤧 lol 😆 😅
Night staff is cool, morning lady is pretty rude most of the time.
Friendly customer service great selection
Great small grocery store
Not cool of Rob to be kicking vaxanated customers out of the store will not be going back
Great selection, always had what I was looking for.
Nice store to shop!
They had Pepsi Zero, I was so excited
Great customer service and $1 candy bars
Nice, friendly service. Clean. A bit pricey as one would expect for a location just on the edge of EMUs campus. They sell wine, but no liquor or lottery tickets.
Nice people, great store
Went to this store with my husband a couple weeks back. He paid with a card. A couple hours later he got an email with a survey; at the end of the survey it asked if there was anything he wanted the owner to know. He told them hed like for them to carry a particular item. Surprisingly he got a response! They exchanged several messages to find out the exact item and then ordered it. They also told him when it would be in. Today they messaged to find out if he was aware that it was in because they were almost sold out. They informed him theyd be ordering more for him. Awesome customer service!!!!! Is also a cool place with interesting employees that are friendly.
Good people friendly staff
This liquor store is the embodiment of Ypsilanti, for better or for worse. If you dislike Ypsilanti you probably wont like it here and just think its a normal weird liquor store. However if you appreciate the character of Ypsilanti, this is a liquor store that will more often than not give you weird and zany stories to tell other people.
The prices are wayyy too high, inflated to take advantage of college students and those who cant travel further. The only good thing about this store is that they stay open until 2A everyday.
Trashy, dirty liquor store with pathetically mannerless employees. I am not yet sure what was scarier - the crowd outside, or that cashier woman. Better stay without beer than visit this one, ladies and gentlemen. Warned youEdit : I was very surprised to see that the owner of the place actually responded to my feedback; therefore, I make a conclusion that he cares about his business and will attempt to make things better. I welcome such an attitude and will change my rating to 3 stars for now and will try visiting again next week during the day, when I will need to buy beverages for my husbands birthday.
Its a liquor store and more. The cashiers are frequently hilarious. Take notes on their conversations and write yourself a one-act play. You might win a prize.
If you like CUSTOMER SERVICE and HELP with ANYTHING ELSE, This is the place !!! The prices, well thats why they call it a CONVENIENCE STORE . ALL prices are well within acceptability for the area . KUDOS !!!
Friendly staff. Always have the items I need.
I was insulted by an employee who put me down for even being there Im not sure if you want to be judge or have someone put you down. Its better to go down the road somewhere else its worth it
Most of the staffs here is polite and cool! They always do that job without harassing customers.
A quick stop on the way to somewhere very convenient
Helpful, friendly employees and a decent selection of craft beers and liquor, some groceries, etc. Busy in the evenings, better to go in the afternoon.
Have been coming here for awhile and their nasty, moldy coolers never change. How does this place pass a health inspection?? So gross. They get an extra star as they seem to have a decent selection. I now only go here when convenience is a must.
Love this place
Fully stocked store. You can find the best beers from local breweries to whatever liquor you can imagine, at a great price!
Great customer service!
In my life I have never left a review, but the shopping experience I had today was so funny that it deserves to be elaborated on. My name is Roman V Andreev and I am a professional boxer. Feel free to Google me - I am currently ranked 44th in the world with the Pro Record of 18W-0L, 13 KOs. Currently I am in Ann Arbor on a business trip. My car broke down earlier tonight and a local mechanic worked really hard to save me by fixing it on such a short notice. He worked overtime and finished around 11pm. As a Russian, I felt compelled to buy him some beer as a token of my appreciation and went to Eagles Market, as it was one of those few stores that was still open . I went to the store, grabbed a sixpack of beer, waited in line, approached the cashier girl, placed that sixpack in front of her and waited for her to tell me the price...but instead of performing her duties, the cashier simply started staring at me with an expression of disgust on her face. I kid you not, without saying a word this chick was simply staring at me! As a boxer I am very used to staring contests, duh, but most of them usually preceed a fight with able men...so to be honest, I wasnt quite sure what to do with this one LOL After 10ish seconds of this awkwardness I decided to break the silence and asked her how much is it, to which she disrespectfully responded 10-85 while still giving me that look of an abused, drugged idiot with her mouth half open. Her behaviour during our interaction showed that she was trying to be assertively hostile towards me. Ill tell you the truth, if it was a guy, I would have probably ended up in a police station tonight testifying why I broke his jaw in multiple places, but I really couldnt care less about some lowlife, confused woman who exercised her tiny bits of 8$ an hour authority and mistreated customers for no reason whatsoever. In the end of our interaction I said thank you and headed towards the exit...only to hear yet another condescending Mhmmh coming from behind the counter. **If the owner of the store is reading this, please consider giving her a boot and hiring adequate employees.**If that tough chick cashier is reading this, please thank the almighty that you were born a female. *** if that cashier happens to be the owner of this business, please nevertheless refer to the aforementioned statement. But mind you, not everyone will be as kind and patient as I was, if you keep pulling these stunts off. Kind regards, Roman V Andreev
Youll find what you want for a nite of ypsi drinking, staff is what you would expect. Dont buy your milk here though itll probably be rancid. Cheers
Not always the friendliest bunch of people working there but they have a wide array of drinks and snacks.
Itsa ok store some of the employees are extremely rude
Sloppy, poorly stocked, workers unhappy, typical corner party/liquor store, prices jacked up to take advantage of neighborhood!
Convenient and they have what I want
Always a pleasure to be there
They are the only store in all of Ypsilanti that sells Sprecher Root Beer.Try it.
