The GM himself walked me through the store and showed me where to find the lock box I needed for a work trip. I love this store. They’ve got all things sports, outdoor, sports, and a great gear and workout selection. They’ve even got pre-workout, amino energy, and protein bars near the registers at the front of the store. The best part, the prices are competitive. I highly recommend checking out this store. They’ve got camp to gear and the best athletic shoes, and sandals too ;0). The staff is helpful and super friendly 😀

This is the best Academy! I was constantly asked if I needed help. And when I did they were awesome! I might drive to Yukon just to go to this Academy instead of the one near me. After going here, I was disappointed when I went back in the location closer to my house and basically ignored.

The cashier asked if I wanted to apply for the academy credit card. I told her that if it was going to pull a hard inquiry on my credit report then no I dont want to apply. Shethen told me that it would not putva hard inquiry on my credit only a soft inquiry. Well she lied to me so people please if you care about your credit report the dont fall for their B.S. they are liars I will never go to an academy again .

I guess they’re okay. I came for a decent yoga/fitness mat. I tried to ask a cashier If a yoga mat served the same purpose and could be used as a fitness mat because I wanted to be sure before I bought one, but I guess he wasn’t a fitness guy cause he just said well? I don’t know, sounds like it does. But eventually I found an actual floor worker and he helped me out. The cheapest one they had was probably nearly 40$ or more. So I felt like I didn’t have many options other than spending 60$ so I ended up getting one at the Sports Academy in Yukon by Ross, they had a couple more less girly and cheaper options, ended up only spending 32$ on it :)

They usually have ammo on Mon, Wed, and Fri. Line is out the door before opening on those days. Limit is 3 boxes per person. Needs to be 5. My only beef is different calibers come in various counts. If you want 223 and it comes in 20 round boxes you only get 60 rounds. If you want 9mm youll normally get 150 rounds. The good thing is theyre not price gouging like everyone else. Ill remember that when things get back to normal.

Has always been my go-to stop for ammo, long before 2020. I was able to put up with the goofy lines, security counter for ammo, and buying limits during the craziness of 2020. During this time I actually thought highly of Academy for not price gouging, and offering good customer service.But now its 2021, coronavirus was a massive sham and more or less everyone in OK has realized that by now. The new 2021 ammo prices at academy are a total JOKE. 70cpr for winchester white box 5.56, 60cpr for steelcase .223, literally some of the highest prices in the industry now. Some of their 9mm ammo is still at a decent price around 35cpr for brass case 9mm. Their steelcase 9mm is more expensive than that though, which is a disgrace.Now that the shelves stay stocked due to outrageous pricing, youd think you could buy as much ammo as you like, but NOPE. Ive stopped buying most of my ammo from here due to prices, but this morning they did have a particular 5.56 loading ive been looking for in 20 round boxes, so I bought 4. On my lunch break I stopped back by to see if there was any more of that ammo. Turns out the only boxes taken off the shelf were the ones I had bought earlier this morning. Still like 50 boxes up there. At the register I was told I cannot purchase anymore ammo today, because of the buying limit. This is ultimately a small thing, but it is the straw that broke the camels back for me, and I wont be back for a while. Everytime I come in I watch people buy 4 200 round bulk packs of various loads, 800 rounds of ammo in 1 purchase. And the bulk packs always the first to sell out. And yet I get this much hassle trying to buy 160 rounds of ammo that nobody is buying off the shelf.Nothing against the individual employees of this location, theyve always been nice to me. But as a long time customer im starting to feel a bit insulted at the prices on steel case ammo, and the ridiculous corporate rules that are being enforced.

Great store for all things outdoor! They have a wide selection of camping gear including ready to eat meals. They have bicycles, fitness items, and fishing gear. The sportswear is trendy. You can find some great clearance items.

I like this Academy they usually have a good ammo selection, not so much lately but hopefully soon itll be back to normal...always good camping equipment and I buy my boots from there as well. Awesome selection of fishing stuff as well. Lately with the run on ammunition they havent had reloading supplies but normally Id buy my primers and factory jacketed bullets to load myself.

Bought my first gun there pretty straight forward guys and knowledgeable. Will buy again

I love this store, but be careful when seeing all of the discount signs. They will say 40% off in 10 inch letters and describe whats discounted in 1/2 inch letters. I picked up a pair of pants off a rack for my son and didnt read the smaller letters. At checkout they wanted to charge full price because they werent the fleece pants. I went back to double check the sign and NOTHING on the rack was fleece. Pay attention to the signs because they are not on top of what they are advertising is discounted. Other than that, great store.

Someone needs to grab a magic marker and start putting prices on stuff or personal shoppers go with each customer or give each customer a price scanner!!!!You made the sale twice from us, but we were frustrated by this both times!!!!!

Always a clean store, and always helpful staff at the register and customer service desk. But it is HARD to find anyone to help you in the actual departments. Also, the womens selection of western boots is non-existent. They have youth and TONS of mens boots, but no womens.

Went to get boating supplies. Try looking at another store, they are empty, low stock, out of basic boating, should fill with something else to take up empty boating isles.

The employees here aren’t very knowledgeable about anything? I’ve asked for sizes on children’s and men shoes, each time I get the “I don’t have it” or “I don’t know”…can’t you order it online? Or find out if you have it or not? Or too lazy to do it? This place is a little weird, I have never been to a shoe store that doesn’t want to sell shoe. Been here 3 times, each time the employees here are unable to help me with much.

My wife and I went in to purchase shoes. I found a couple of pair that I liked, but I couldnt find my size in one of the styles that I was interested in. I noticed Austin was straightening the mens shoes. I asked him for assistance, and without hesitation, he stopped what he was doing and assisted me and helped me find a pair of shoes that I was happy with. When we completed our shopping, we were rang up by a very friendly and upbeat Mikayla. I love shopping at Academy, especially for shoes, and cannot recall ever having a bad experience at any of the locations I have visited.

The Yukon Academy is always clean friendly happy people they may be limited on guns and ammo at the moment but normally carry a decent supply way better than the to 40 store even though they have more guns at the 240 store theyre not clean decline tells different I much prefer yukon
