First time buying glasses at Target Optical and I had a really good experience. The lady who helped me, Leann, was really amazing. She was professional, courteous, knowledgeable but at the same time personable and warm. Customer service is practically non-existent anymore, but here, with Leann, it was such a welcome surprise. She was a breath of fresh air. There was a good selection to choose from and it went well. Thank you Leann, I hope Target knows what excellent service you provide for them. I appreciate all your help today!!!

Dr. Tran was extremely informative and patient wit me. This was my first eye exam in probably 30-35 years.Leann was also AMAZING. I’ve never had glasses and she helped me tremendously. She was honest and very accommodating.This crew did their jobs EXTREMELY well!!!

I went to find new frames since I havent worn glasses in ages. This wonder assistant named Amanda helped find my frames. Another assistant was there who also answered some questions I had but I didnt quite catch her name. They both the process easy for me.

Set my appointment for today 3/9/2021 for 1230 called to confirm and it wasn’t booked. Receptionist got me in same day that was wonderful. Fast forward my vision insurance is somehow inactive and so I simply requested an email saying just that my insurance is inactive. (I was not sure about my vision insurance and because of that I called my provider the day before when I scheduled the appointment) Easy right? Wrong this place said it’s against their policy to email me that information. I only requested an email because the previous day my provider said my insurance was good to go. So I just wanted confirmation from “professionals”in the field and they couldn’t even send me an email. They won’t write a note saying my insurance is inactive. I’ll give them two stars for rebooking the appointment but that’s it would not recommend to anyone.

I will no longer spend my money at the Target Optical on Arbrook, in Arlington Tx. Every time I come to this optical I am told to sign in, and wait d/t Covid-19 policy, and I’m fine with that. The problem is why when a black woman is standing in line doing the right thing, a white woman can come after her and be serviced right away. I don’t care to share my hard earned money at an establishment that does not show equality or inclusion. If you are not going to follow the sign in sheet, why have one. I guess the same rules don’t apply if you are black.

I went in for an Eye Exam to order contact lenses, overall it was a positive experience.Dr. Tuan A. Tran was professional and informative, and the whole process went by swiftly. The Salesperson, Vanessa, had great customer service as well.

Its frankly a mountainous climb for me to go to a doctor of any kind. Though, these folks were great! Dr Tran was efficient, funny, and kind! Also their staff who helped me find a new pair of glasses were really helpful. I believe her name is Amanda (bad with names, sorry if I got that wrong), it was her first day yesterday and see seemed to have a great handle on what she was doing and how to do it. I would definitely recommend visiting these great people! Thanks so much Dr Tran and Target Optical!

First thing I saw was bad reviews but all I needed was someone in network so still gave it a shot. Utmost a pleasant surprise. Quick, friendly and professional customer service. This is hard to find now a days and I will certainly give them a five star. Thank you Target optical for hiring professional people.

This review is more towards the business, than the people that work at this location. I had an appt today, I went in and the ladies in the front were kind, and tried to hurry to get me in. Im not upset with them, or the service. However, my appt was not completed due to not having a face mask. I understand why they wanted me to wear one, Im not arguing that. What I dont understand is why a business is going to make it mandatory for customers to have one, yet not provide face coverings for them. I dont wear a mask by choice, but I would have agreed to wear one for the appt, if they had provided one. Its obvious that Target, or whatever 3rd party company owns their optical center, doesnt mind losing business. Went to get a haircut the other day and the business I went to required face coverings. Guess what? They had a big bucket of individually wrapped face masks for their customers. Hope they get this fixed, its not right.

I give a 5* star to the Dr. he is so amazing and kind really enjoys what he does and makes you feel welcome. The one star goes to the staff on the front that are suppose to assist you with the selection of glasses. They dont like questions and are not friendly at all, I have eye insurance that covers almost everything so I just wanted her to explain what I was going to pay because it felt a little too much compared to what I have paid in the past in places like LentsCrafter or Pearlvision. She looked bothered with every question plus she is very soft spoken so I couldnt listen very well what she was saying and when I asked she was even more bothered I just didnt feel they appreciate my business and I might go back to the DR again to get my prescription just will buy my glasses in other place.

Wish I read the reviews before I went. I purchased glasses and in a week itll be a month Ive been waiting for them. Staff are fine but dont know whats going on and why there late. Definitely would not recommend this place to anyone. There are plenty of other opticals that will finish way faster.

Ordered glasses and within 1week the lenses yellowed;I figured it was a fluke and reorder. The second pair yellowed within days aswell. Customer service was awful; they were dismissive and offered no solution. They had the audacity to say I could pay for the more expensive lenses (not an offer to upgrade out of basic courtesy) because they couldnt guarantee mine wouldnt be defective a 3rd time. I ultimately returned my glasses.

Target’s optical center was terrible!!! The customer service was awful and the ladies working there were so unhelpful and uninterested in me! Instead of helping me find the right frame for my face, they kept advertising and pushing me to buy their “great” deal for ray bans(not a good deal) .They were more concerned with me paying more than giving me the best deal! Do not go here for glasses.

I wish I can put half a start or no stars. First time I went in I waited about 10 to 15 mins, there was no one to be found, no sign saying they will be right back or anything. Once the 2 girls showed up they were laughing and having too much fun of their own to help me. Once I told them what I need help with, I could tell they wanted to keep their conversation going since they took my order really quickly while of course they kept talking and laughing. They never asked for a # or name to call back once my order was ready. I had to call 4 times to try to get someone on the phone to see if my frame had arrived Unprofessional and a waste of time. Ive been treated better at Walmart Optical.

Not a helpful place. I got my first pair of glasses here and later found out that the lenses were cut really bad. I thought they looked funny, but being my first pair i didnt know.. They will fix them, but everyone Ive talked to there dont seem the least concerned about it.. Next time Ill get my glasses at a real place

I was here before and I totally disappointed. They spent like 15 mins to have my eyes examined, then the doctor was like Oh, your eyes are so different (!?!), I dont think you can do contact lens, then just do glasses (?!?) After checking my eyes, she still discouraged me by saying like You can never get driver licence (!?!) . I used that prescription to make glasses, and they were so blurry that I couldnt even use it for 10 mins. Dont ever want to be back!

I will never do business with Target Optical again. I placed my order on March 22nd, called in April 6th for the status, was told they would be shipped from the lab on April 10th. Received a call today, stating they will be shipped on April 17th. Finally just had to cancel my order. This is just ridiculous.

I will not be back whomever is the lab they work with is the slowest ever. Pass the 14 business days and I still do not have my glasses. Which in reality it has been 21 calendar days
