Phenomenal care. My first time going, I was pleased with the service, the products, the prices, and most importantly how quickly they filled my prescription glasses. Many places take days and even weeks to get your glasses to you, Eyemart Express had them for me in 28 minutes. Couldnt even finish my lunch before I got a text from them saying pickup is ready! Nothing went wrong, which is a rare thing to experience in Bangor. Overall, definitely a 5/5 rating and this will be my new go to place for any and all of my eyeglass concerns.

We were getting new glasses for my daughter. One pair was regular and the other pair was transition. They said it would be an hour. Both pair were ready in 20 minutes. Their selection was really good also. We will definitely get future glasses from them.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff! Gave us the space to explore the many different options they had and then when we were ready, they were right there to patiently walk us through options and needs. They’re all great, but I was super thankful to have Rachel help us…she was so fun and friendly! (Even though she’s an Eagles fan…;-)!). I got 3 pairs of glasses for different needs and am very happy with every pair…and these 3 pairs cost what my ONE pair did from my normal optometrist.

Friendly staff with a good selection at a very reasonable price. Upgraded lenses to a blue light filter (my son goes to school online) and even that was very reasonable. Will definitely go here again when he needs new glasses.

They dont even deserve 1 star. I took a pair of glasses back to them today because the lenses are defected. Ive never had a pair of glasses do this. So..they explain to me it happened because of placing them on a dash etc. In the hot sun. Overheating. So I explain to him that the only heat they see is the sun while they are on my face because I work outside. I wear them all the time. I do not put them on my dash. They didnt care and wouldnt go good for them. And I have another pair of glasses that was cracking across. They replaced 1 pair and within 3 months...the second pair did the same thing. The old saying goes You get what you pay for. They are horrible. Cheap quality. I will never go there again. I would much rather pay more for a good quality pair of glasses that will last longer then 6 months.

Had an unexpected visit to the Bangor EyeMart Express. However, the staff was exceptional at helping me with what I needed without being too bossy or pushy. I was told I would have a 2 to 3 hour wait for my glasses to be finished. That wasnt the case! 26 minutes later they were done and I was on my way home. Very pleased with the service I received and of course my new glasses! 🤓👓💙

One optometrist visit and three pairs of glasses later. The optometrist visit was pleasant for my husband but after his lenses from their shop were to thick and heavy and gave my husband a headache he chose to go to the previous company to have his prescription checked out. It was very off. After with the eye gasses were sent back for adjustments when it turned out the prescription needed was to weird for the one day adjustment. The second pair of glasses were coke bottles and also did not work. I was treated very rudely by the lead optometrist or manager because he believed that just the frame shape was the problem and that i should just get use to it. I followed up with a different pair of frames. I have just received these new lenses after only a week and once again My husband has a headache after 20 min. We are never going here again. I am sure this is fine for people with very minor or common eye problems. This not a place for sever conditions if you want anything good.

Long wait and prescription was wrong. When I was about to pay for my glasses (expecting to pay $80 and get them in an hour) I was told she had read my prescription wrong and it would cost $180 and take 3 weeks for the correct prescription.When I picked my glasses up there were many people waiting and clearly unhappy about their long wait time. When a gentlemen asked if could just have his glasses we were told to sit down like children. It was incredibly rude. My glasses are still not right but I will not be going back there.

Excellent service and good selection of frames. No pressure to buy the optional coatings or warranties but when asked they were very knowledgeable. Very honest as well as we initially paid $144 for 2 pair of glasses but when we picked up they corrected the bill to $75. They very easily could have not told me and l would have never known the difference. Very fast lab also as I received a text within 18 minutes for one pair and 24 minutes for the other. Drove back for curb side pick up and the eyeglasses fit great and the focal point in the lens is perfect. Great experience and will be back for all our eyeglass needs

My eye dr. said my prescription was not done right even though I brought a paper saying exactly what I needed to here. He told me it contributed to my eyes getting worse faster. Never going here again. I’m to afraid.

Ordering glasses is never fun, but our associate, Chris, was awesome. He had both me and my son laughing and made it a pleasant experience. Highly recommend the store as a very good place to get your glasses. And the selection was impressive.

First time going to Eyemart Express and I have to say I was very impressed. No pressure to look thru the large section of eye glasses, took our time. When I was ready to talk to the sale team, she was polite, friendly, and extremely helpful.If they have the lens you need there in their store it would only take a couple of hours. I had to have mine sent away because I had special things added, and it was within a week I got a call that they were ready.The prices are extremely reasonable and they glasses are not cheap looking.I am very happy with mine and I will definitely be going back when I need a new pair.

Went in to get new glasses today amidst all this Covid-19 craziness, Im so glad I chose Eyemart Express in Bangor Maine!!I got the pleasure of meeting Greta, one of their associates and she was absolutely superb! Took my wife to get her first pair of prescription glasses. We got there right when they open. There was only one other customer in the store with us. The lady that helped us was amazing and well mannered. She didnt try to sell us more or less then my wife needed. She walked us through the process and was an amazing experience. She said it would take an hour or so to put the lenses in the frames but it only took 30 minutes. We will be using Eyemart Express in the future.

So quick and easy. Both sets of glasses were done in 16 minutes. Wide variety of prices and styles. Great experience! I was on the higher end with special add- ons you dont need but I wanted, I picked 2 mid range prices. 2 sets with extras were 350, but you can definitely get 2 sets for under 100.

I mart at the Bangor mall is excellent! I had had my eyes tested so I took my prescription to them to get my new glasses. They were very polite, fast, and were very knowledgeable. So when I get my glasses I put them on and I couldn’t see with them but I figured because they were progressions that I wasn’t used to that I would wear them for a while and see if anything changed. Well it didn’t so I figured it was because of the progression that I’ve never had so I went back with all intentions to pay for new lenses to get my bifocals back. They were so nice they got my new lenses for nothing,They didn’t charge me that’s unheard of today. But I still couldn’t see with them so I haven’t been wearing them for $469 for glasses that I can’t wear. so I get my records From the place where I had had my eyes checked previously and went to the optometrist at eye Mart. Well for sure the prescription was wrong so he wrote me a new prescription, I took it over to eye Mart proceeded to tell them my situation and what had happened and they are replacing the lenses free of charge once more.Something like this is hard to fine today everybody is all about the money and forget about the patients. I will be going to eye Mart for many years, as well as I will tell everyone that I know to go to eye Mart because they are fair, and really care about The patients.Thank you Eyemart for being so wonderful!!!

I have purchased 5 pairs of glasses here. Two regular prescription, two prescription sunglasses, and a pair of sports goggles. The staff are always helpful, courteous, and attentive. Im not a fan of the sign in book and sometimes you have to wait awhile if they are busy but usually busy is a good sign for a business. I had an issue with the sports goggles and I assure you, they will try and resolve ANY issues or concerns you may have. I am very thankful for them and will be doing business here again. Another added bonus is all of my glasses I have purchased have been done within 20 minutes or so even though they state up to an hour wait time. As an educator I couldnt me more grateful for this place.

I had a good experience, I had never bought glasses before I am used to getting them from my eyedoctors, but where I can no longer get them for free where my insurance only covers glasses for children I wanted to not have to spend $110 now that Im an adult. Customer service was fantastic and my glasses came out great, she was even super kind to my Nephew who was with me and my sister who had brought me, I was super happy with how good she was about him being with us! Hes not quite 2 yet so I was nervous how taking him was going to go but it was no problem! Lenses had a couple scratches but they arent enough to affect how they work so I didnt really say anything, other than that I had a great experience and I was happy I got 2 pairs for $38 instead of one pair for $110 at my eye doctors. Will definitely come back next time I need glasses!

Glasses are great and the price was very reasonable. Service is slowest Ive ever seen. Waited about an hour to order the glasses and an hour and a half to just pick them up. It only took the lab 23 minutes to create them, go figure.Next time I think Ill go elsewhere and get better service. Theres not enough Saturdays in the summer to waste waiting

They had both my daughters pairs of glasses finished in under 30 minutes! We barely left to grab a coffee and received the text that they were done! As an educator/ teacher, I am beyond thrilled that they offer a discount for that profession as well. The service was excellent. We live an hour away but Ive been using Eyemart Express for all my familys eyewear for over 10 years. They will fix your frames anytime too. The dog chewed my frames.... twice... and the guy there worked his magic to completely restore them!

Found Eyemart Express to be a very clean and quiet place. Had excellent help for us as we were doing two separate eyeglass prescriptions. The lady was very helpful in checking different alternatives to help us both get the best discount for the glasses. She gave us a time of three hours for glasses to be done and send us a text. They were both done in 50 & 55 minutes. WILL definitely return when in need of another set of glasses.

These are the people that give restaurants poor reviews because their food didnt come out unreasonably quick on a Saturday evening. If you go somewhere and its busy, youre going to wait.

Missed the sign up sheet upon entering. Waited at the counter for a good 10 minutes. You would think someone would have said you need to sign in, but no. Then after being waited on said they would send a text in about 2 hours.Wrong again after 2 1/2 hours and no text I went into the store. My order was sitting on the counter.

I went in yesterday to get some glasses. The service was amazing. They joked around with me and made me literally feel at home. The people are very nice, and they are expedient when making glasses. It took them 42 minutes to make mine, and they advertise for an hour.

This is the third year that I have been to eye mart express in Bangor ME. I have to say I am very unimpressed. The first year was great! Every thing went perfect. Last year I asked to have the edges of my lenses polished because I have pretty thick lenses. It took them a month and a half to get it right. When I finally picked up my glasses for the last time they were okay. Not great, but after four trips and four sets of lenses they were at least polished. They had stripped one of the screws out and replaced it with a generic one that was too large and sharp but I was sick of dealing with them. I just left. I dont know why I went back again. Maybe it was a fluke thing but I gave them another chance. I go to pick up my glasses and surprise, not polished. I asked four times when I was there to have them polished and the gentleman who did the order put it in the system. For whatever reason, didnt work. They polished them. I was told 20 to 30 minutes. We waited. I just have to tell you we live an hour away, so of course we waited. We go back in to be told they didnt sound it right. Had to be fixed. Few more minutes. What ever. I finally get them. They seem fine. I am so relieved to be done in dont inspection them well. My bad. I get home and I noticed again they stripped a screw and it is too big, sharp, and totally the wrong color. I have chocolate colored frames with one chrome screw. Now they are closed and I have to walk around with glasses they have messed up again.
