I had a very busy summer working two different jobs and my glasses are on and off my face constantly……. They weren’t fitting well at all.I brought them to the store in Bangor…..3 pairs…..and Steve did a tremendous job adjusting them so that they fit as well as the day I bought them.I appreciate that he took the time to adjust and readjust until they were to his standards, while explaining the process.Steve is both friendly and professional. I will continue to purchase my glasses through LensCrafters because I have found them to be so wonderful to work with.Thank you Steve……and his manager for the quick witted comments. Laughter, while maintaining professional standard, is an art in itself!
This place is the best place to get glasses! They have an amazing selection and have the best staff team I’ve seen in two years. They all work great together and make sure their customers are satisfied even if it’s due to something out of their control such as shipping speed and expected delivery of glasses. I will warn that the prices are up there but the quality is unbeatable and worth it. Thank you for making my glasses every year since 2018 you guys rock!!

I went to LensCrafters to buy a pair of new glasses possibly two pair if I found what I like. I was trying on the glasses and was told I had to keep my mask on . I said I was not able to see how the glasses looked or fit on my face while wearing a mask. Not too mention the glasses fogging up while wearing the mask. They told me I was not to take the mask off for no reason. I had to try the glasses on while wearing the mask...Im sorry no one can see how the glasses will fit or look while wearing a mask. There was no one else in the store at the time. I have no problem wearing a mask while looking but to try on. How? I even asked if I could try them on with a mirror outside of the their door while they were with me, They said NO.So I left without buying two pair of glasses and will take my business elsewhere. I have used them to buy my glasses over the years and my husband buys his glasses there every year. Sorry no more.
I returned to Lenscrafters, and I say returned because there are plethora of choices these days for cheaper glasses. I purchased my favorite pair of glasses there in 2014, and low and behold, the same frame was still available! It was so easy to just give my new prescription, update a few things and done! The associate was quite knowledgeable and personable. Looking forward to my frames coming next week!
I went there to have my glasses adjusted and the woman who helped me broke my frames. I had to pay full price for new ones, no discount for her breaking them. I am extremely upset being out $200 I couldnt afford to spend and will take my business elsewhere from now on.
The entire staff was beyond helpful and cheerful. I was having a bad day my glasses were unusable and was a quick and easy fix for them. I went in having the worst day of my life and left feeling like a million dollars.
The Bangor Mall location was severely understaffed, but Rashawnda took excellent care of not only me, but the other seven customers she was juggling at the time- this in addition to taking all incoming phone calls. Although the wait was long, never did this young lady let anyone feel like they were unimportant. She was highly professional & personable- I would recommend others to visit this location solely on my interaction with her.
When I first went in 2 months ago great service. But seeing how Ive been waiting for almost 2 months for my safety glasses because of your company messing things up. With absolutely no phone calls letting me know whats going on. Ive called and asked if I could change my lenses to transition after your company messed up the second time I got I think we can do that not sure it got done. And I shouldnt have to pay for the up grade after all this. Yesterday I got the text saying they were in I called to make sure. They are in and got told they will be shipped at the speed of ups. They should be overnight delivery after waiting this long. And every time I asked a question the lady was to busy laughing at on the phone at something else. I dont even know if you still have the right shipping address for me. With that said I will never deal with your store again after all this.

I had a great experience. My daughter had a really strong prescription. They said that it’d be two weeks but 1.5 hours they were done!!

Personnel are very friendly, helpful, and patient.
The person helping us was extremely helpful as soon as we walked in. She answered every single one of my questions accurately. I was helped in finding some frames and eventually found some that I liked. The lenses were even in stock for same day pickup. We went back later that day pick them up, but to our surprise the wrong item had been selected and the lenses were priced slightly higher so we had to pay the difference. Overall, not big deal. The service was excellent.
Friendly and helpful in the store. When I called for update on status of order, the staff was very dismissive and unconcerned with my need to receive the new glasses ordered. Also received different information in two separate calls made inquiring about delivery date. DO NOT believe that they will hold to their promised timeline (10 days) for delivery. I ordered glasses on July 18, 2020 and have not received them as of Aug 9, 2020. The only reason I didnt give a one star rating was because of the service the day I ordered. The service since has been non-existent. I received no communication about any delays and only contradicting excuses when I called for an update.
After 45 min wait, No idea as to how to apply insurance benefits, and Dr is NOT Vsp certified, despite claims to the contrary. Update 11/27 - owner wants me to fill out a survey, more great customer service.
We Purchased my sons glasses here two years ago, at that time the staff was beyond helpful and very pleasant to deal with. I called this month to see if we could pay them to repair the scratches on the lenses or simply order new lenses. The extremely rude male employee informed me that there is no way they would consider this because children need an eye exam every year if not more and there is no way his glasses are up to date. Mind you never once did this employee ask the age of my son, ask my name or when the last time we went to the eye doctor was. If he had i would have ever so politely informed him we visit every 6 months with my son due to the condition of his eyes. His prescription hasnt changed and wed be happy to have his eye specialist send over proof of the prescription. This world is filled with Judgemental, quick to assume, ignorant people there is no need to be more of those in a customer service based position. We will never be doing business at this location again.

Waited 10 days to be told they can’t give me the frames I picked out in my prescription. I live almost two hours away. Salesperson was rude on the phone. Absolutely ridiculous. Have no desire to go back and pick out another frame just to wait another almost two weeks. Spent almost $600 and just want a refund. Will never go back.
I went in to have my glasses tightened a little bit cause they were getting loose and they snapped my frames. The manager lied to me over the phone and then proceeded to order me the wrong frames to replace them. I have tried calling the district manger to try and find a solution but no one will return my calls. I have been a costumer for over 25 years and I am never going back. I have never dealt with such rude and inconsiderate employees. DO NOT SHOP HERE
So disappointed with customer service. My husband bought a $600+ pair of eyeglasses from LensCrafters in Bangor last year. Recently one of the little silicone side sleeves fell off because it was loose. He went in today and asked if they had a replacement. The young woman she couldnt help him; said they dont carry any parts, and that he could look online for one. What!!!!! Thats it?? No help at all. You would think that after paying so much money for a pair of glasses, that such a large chain store would either 1) have some 19 cent silicone extras on hand, 2) look up my husbands warranty and see if his glasses are still covered, or 3) at least offer to order some through the company or suggest somewhere to buy them. Nothing. No help......poor customer service. We will not be going back.
Found staff very helpful even though store was busy. Had a piece of equipment broken but still took measurements and said hed call us back to let us know ( in my experience this rarely happens when people say theyll call back) but the manager did call back with an hour and told us equipment would be fixed next day and to come in and theyd take care of the new glasses for us. Very good follow thru
I ordered sunglasses. They arrived the wrong color.They said sorry we can not get them in the same color lense you ordered. We made a mistake (this took a month and 2 trips to Bangor from southwest harbor, a 3 hour trip each time)So I ordered a new pair. They called said they came in and could mail them.They have not arrived. I called. The lady answered the phone and told me they were sent to my P.O. Box via ups. Ups does not deliver to P.O. Boxes... she then told my husband they were delivered to our house.We never signed for them, never received them and are still waiting to hear from the manager

My mother who desperately needs her glasses because she has double vision and spent $600 on a pair was promised to receive her glasses on August 3rd and won’t be receiving them until August 7th if they even keep that promise. It has now been 2 1/2 weeks. She called them today drove all the way to Bangor which is an hour away because she was told they were coming in the shipment today but they still didn’t have them. The service has been terrible in keeping their promised shipment date. The least they could do is call her to apologize and keep her informed on where and when she’ll be receiving her glasses, instead of being told maybe tomorrow every day. Lenscraft should want to keep their customers informed but instead will leave you waiting and wondering. Very disappointed and would never recommend this place.
Probly the most ignorant and unhelpful staff Ive ever dealt wqith. Very snarky, crappy attitude. They are very willing to take your money, but if an issue arises, youre on your ownIll never go there again
