Kathia was excellent and very helpful. So glad she was my mobile expert!!! Thank you kathia 5 stars!! Ill be back to see her if I need further help!
Worst experience today after a long time been there many times but today was worst. Poor franchise
Today was my 4th time visiting the T-Mobile on Race Track Road, Bowie, MD location. The first three times were for myself and the last time was to purchase a new phone for my daughters birthday. I must say, with pure pleasure, that each time I went to the store, I was treated with much respect. The service I received each time was outstanding and was much appreciated. During my first visit, JAMES assisted me with the purchase of a new phone. He was very knowledgeable and informed me about the service plan I selected. The transaction went very smoothly. With the next two visits, I was assisted by TANISHA. She too was very respectable, knowledgeable and did a lot of transferring items from my old phone to my new phone. The 4th time, which was today, I was assisted by the manager (I believe). I just paid for the phone but all the transactions were discussed by him and my daughter (since the phone was for her). He too was respectable, knowledgeable and assisted her in whatever way she needed. Another thing I noticed each time I visited the store in team work. These guys seem to work well together and had no problem in assisting each other. It was just a pleasurable buying experience each time I was there. I would and do recommend this location to anyone, whether they are with T-Mobile or not. Many KUDOs to these guys who definitely deserve them.
Store was closed and locked at 5pm even though hours are until 8pm. I had an appointment and I even had called earlier in the day and talked to the associate to tell them I was coming in then.Very poor service. I should have been notified that they could not keep my appointment.
Took my phone in for a factory reset to troubleshoot an ongoing issue with Android Auto. The store reps said they were going to backup to Google, which they didnt, and only backed up to Samsung Cloud and didnt even bother to restore. I would give zero stars but giving 1 because I called back and the gentleman was nice enough to walk me through the steps to restore. Just dont understand why they didnt bother doing it in store. They simply just said, Sometimes not everything backs up and restores.
These people dont know what they are doing. I was helped by the manager. I needed my phone backed up, and then wiped and restored. He backed it up, wiped it, and restored it but absolutely nothing was restored (apps, pics etc). He said the process sometimes doesnt work and there was nothing he could do.Once I was back home, I looked through the settings, and what happened is he thought he backed everything up to my Google account, but really backed it up to my Samsung account. So I did my own restoration from the actual backed up info saved in the Samsung account. Now everything is fine. Who is tmobile hiring to run these stores!? If I believed this guy and didnt do my own investigation to his suspicious restoration, I would have lost everything. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!!
Customer service was great!
Tried to open a new Tmobile account and the manager didnt know how to do it. He wanted to run my credit report but had to call customer service to see how to port my number from another carrier. Walked out.
Friendly knowledgeable staff. Addressed my issues quickly.
Truth is a very abstract term here. The staff will tell you whatever they think sounds best, regardless of reality. The phone costs 400$? Theyll tell you it costs 300$ and charge you 400$ later. Have a question about how the phone service works? Theyll tell you what youd like to hear, and youll figure out how it actually works when you get your next bill. Ive had interactions with T-mobile locations that are far better.
Had a great experience without any problems.
Do not waste your time. The store manager (a shot, African man with glasses) is rude. The service rep that was helping me needed to ask the manager a question and he wouldnt even come out to help her. He is a rude and inconsiderate man. I cant believe T-Mobile allows this kind of management. Not to mention, this is a 3rd party store, Express. I was reading the other reviews and they all also state how bad the management is. I think that T-Mobile should shut this store down.I live a few minutes from the store and I will be taking my business to the Gambrills location or the Annapolis location. Much better customer service there, worth the drive.Dont even waste your time here.
The manager seems nice at first but starts talking a lot and starts adding accessories with out asking and claims that its all included in the plan. he is not clear and does not let you know what youre getting into. he said i was only going to pay $90 a month for everything. one line, including the cost of my phone, accessories and unlimited everything. i was later on charged almost $200 for everything that he added on plus the taxes that he never told me about. he tricks you into buying a whole bunch of stuff. very bad customer service. dont know how they made him a manager. i cant speak for the other employees but i will never be going there again. dont recommend it.
Didnt care about my insurance. They only wanted to sell me a new phone. Went to another store and I had no problems.
Horrible service. They are incapable of handling technical issues. My phone cracked and I could not use the bottom half of the screen to get to my contacts, which is all I wanted to sync to my new phone. The representative was unable to sync the contacts from my old LG2 phone to new LG2 phone. He had 3 different wires connected to it. So, he just told us to call Tech Support. Um, thats why we went to the store right?! Dont recommend this one. Go to Annapolis branch they are better.
September 15,2016 Too many poor experiences from this store for me. The people Ive dealt with in here are not well informed of their products and PROCEDURES which will lead you to coming out of pocket unnecessarily!******RELUCTANT****** to help, poor customer service, and poor management sums up my experiences. Store is NOT a corporate store. SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME AND GO ELSEWHERE.. Ran into too much trouble to get properly credited for the Galaxy Note 7 recall. They told me it was up to me to get credited back onto my account in which i was actually supposed to get a store refund! I even spoke with a phone representative and they put memos on my account for the STORE rep to refund me but they still refused. Additionally, I was still being charged for a phone I traded in which I found out after contacting tmobile customer service. This store was supposed to remove it off of my bill upon trading it in for an upgrade!I remained calm throughout the whole process but this store was unwilling to help and did not care if you took your business elsewhere. Poor work ethic displayed from this store.I ended up having to go to the store in Annapolis mall where I was fully taken care of with ALL my issues. Id get more into detail (because there is more) about my whole experience but I dont want to spend anymore time concerning with this exact Bowie location. I never write reviews for anything but Im fed up with this store. GO ELSEWHERE! I will be going to Annapolis from now on. A review will only do so much. The right people need to get in and turn that store around.
This was a great experience the sales team was very helpful and patient. They were able to answer all our questions about our new experience with T-Mobile!
Customer service was unexceptionalI walked in because my phone keeps tur ing off on its own and will turn on for 5 seco.ds only.to turn back off again.I came into the store looking to come out with a new phone.I was told I could not use my warranty due to a tiny chip and was told to call claims I called in the store only to be told I had to pay almost a 300.00 deductible and the last in the store said 99.00I was immediately upset by the miss information and the call was ended with the claims Specialists after the call was ended no additional assistance was offered by the staff in the store. I didnt even get Im sorry for the inconvenience let me try to see what I can do. Nothing the girl just left me standing there and attended to the next customer I felt that was very disrespectful and not very customer service friendly. I felt something could have been done to help me. Worse customer service ever I will not go back
If I could have given lower than a 1, I would have done so. This must be one of the worst places with which Ive ever conducted business. Undre is one of the only ones who seems to know what hes doing and understands the meaning of customer service. But the tone is set by the manager, Herb Vincent, who is undoubtedly the rudest business individual Ive ever encountered. He lies while trying to up-sell you and talks very fast as if he is purposely trying to confuse you into buying something you didnt ask for, and would argue later that he DID explain to you what you were getting. Thats his asinine strategy. The guy is extremely condescending, and always seems to be so damn busy that he usually only has a max of 60 seconds to talk to you. He tries to make customers feel as though they are a bother, and I believe its because of an obvious sense of self-importance that he wants to portray. He seems to always be on some important call in the back causing him to seldom be able to talk to customers who need his help because of a lack of knowledge from his incompetent staff. Its not like me to write a bad review on anyone and even less like me to name names. Ive never done it before, but why T-Mobile keeps this guy around is totally beyond understanding. I know they see the reviews throughout the Internet about how rude he is. He is also very patronizing of customers in front of others. He seems to be someone who was given power and clearly feels as though he is a CEO-equivalent judging by his actions and attitude. I am in walking distance from his store, but I go out of my way to another one to keep from having to deal with him and most of his uninformed staff. This store is unprofessional, and SHAME on T-Mobile for allowing the manager to get away with it. It doesnt speak too highly of the company overall to tolerate such an offensive and ill-mannered leader unless, of course, they keep him because of his sales record. He needs to go to some kind of customer-training class because he is a piss-poor representative of T-Mobile and needs to be replaced by someone who is humble and genuinely cares about customers more than his own illusory importance.
I bought my note here and the cover for it. The cover has saved my phone from cracks. The staff provides an excellent service always.
DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE. The customer service at this location is horrible. Very rude employees. The manager was the worst. The phone i wanted to get was out of stock. First off if you are running a promotion on a phone make sure you have that phone fully stocked. They told me to go to the store in odenton. I asked them if they could call up there and see. If they have it in stock. They did make the call but acted if it was going to kill them. After a few minutes of trying to reach them there was no answer, they were calling the wrong number, the manager said its not there problem and they arent going to keep trying.
Anything they offer to you at this store - get it in writing. they promised that I would get a managers special and would take $100 off my first two monthly bills. I was skeptical because they said they couldnt put it in writing. Never saw these so-called rebates. When I went back to the store, they said the manager never had the right to offer them to me. End of discussion. Dont trust anything that they promise you
Poor costumer service... we ask questions to verify and clarify our plan and not to annoy your so KIND and RESPECTFUL staff...Your actions and gestures speaks louder than words!!!
Don’t shop here. The manager isn’t available when you need him and they’ll find any excuse NOT to honor insurance that you paid for. Closing this account and heading to AT&T to get a new phone.
Melissa was awesome. Good experience. Great customer service! Personality and professionalism.
Poor customer service
The females do not use customer service here. Very rude to customers with money. Not knowledgeable about their company or products. Also does not listen well at all. I will never go backto this store
T-Mobile ofc off 450 is the best! Very helpful, very responsive, great service!
Horrible service. Ive been there twice: first time I was being helped by a nice young man who took the time to understand the type of phone and features I was looking for. However, during our conversation a salesman type swooped in and immediately made a judgment on my appearance and pointed me at the cheapest phone on the rack. He was obviously more concerned about making a commission than helping me as a customer. Second time I just came in to have a sim activated. The woman asked for my phone number for the sim (I am on a family plan). Maybe the music was too loud in the store or she wasnt paying attention or something, but she rang up the sim for the wrong number - which booted my mom off the network and gave me her number. The lady then called T-mobile to have it fixed. She told me it would be taken care of in an hour or two as the techs fixed it at T-Mobile. 2 hours later and it still wasnt fixed which led me to call T-Mobile directly. I spent nearly 3 hours talking to 5 different reps trying to fix this issue caused by one complacent (and a little rude) store clerk. If she had taken the time to verify the phone number then I wouldnt have wasted my entire evening. I wouldnt go back here if you paid me....
This rating is for all of T-Mobile, from store level to customer serviceI recently went to a TMobile store (the one in Landover, MD) to upgrade to a Samsung S8. I also inquired about adding my fiance to my account. She has a Verizon Samsung Note 5, and she uses it extensively to do essential parts of her job. I told the gentleman that I wanted to look into switching her from Verizon to TMobile and using her existing Verizon Samsung Note 5. He told me that wouldnt be a problem, he showed me how to do it, and he sold me both my Samsung S8 and a SIM card for my fiances Verizon Samsung Note 5.What he did not tell me, and what none of T-Mobiles advertising or information states, is that the Verizon Samsung Note 5 will not work well on the T-Mobile network. I did not discover this until after they had already put me on a 24 month payment plan for a $750 phone and had us close my fiances Verizon account. So I called them for assistance a few days ago. That is when several of their reps told me that her phone wouldnt work well on T-Mobiles service. I communicated to them that my problem was that this is essential information to my buying decision that they left out of the sales presentation. She now has been missing phone calls, texts, and emails essential to her job. I explained the issue to several TMobile employees including several managers. The only option that was repeatedly presented to me was to accept a lower quality phone for free or to pay TMobile even more money to fix the problem that their misinformation caused. This same solution was offered to me by several people from several offices.More than one employee even admitted to me that what I had experienced was wrong, but they were unwilling to make it right outside of me paying them more money or taking a lesser quality phone. They even communicated to me that if I did not choose one of those options, the other option was to close my account with them.I have filed a complaint with the FTC and BBB, but due to their (T-Mobiles) Buyers Remorse policy, in order to ensure that I got any money back at all for the phone (there is still some doubt as to whether they will even give me a full refund), I couldnt wait for a response within 30 days as described by the FTC and BBB. I had to send my phone in by yesterday. I am now going on my second day without my phone and the many services I use it for (work, navigation, emergency contact, etc.) while I wait for my new one to be shipped from Verizon.
TODAY I WENT INTO THE STORE AND I WAS WORKING WITH THE LADY WHO HAD DREADS IFORGOT HER NAME BUT SHE WAS VERY NICE AND PATIENT WITH MY SITUATION AND HELPED ME ALOT....MEANWHILE IM IN THE STORE AND I WAS PLAYING WITH THE IPHONE 7 AND I UNPLUGGED IT CAUSE ON THE SCREEN IT SAID UNPLUG AND I DID IT TO MAKE SURE I LIKED THE PHONE SO THE MANAGER WHICH WAS A SHORT AFRICAN GUY CAME OVER AND SAID WHO UNPLUGGED THE PHONE I SAID WELL I DID SO HE WAS MAKING RULED COMMENTS ABOUT ME TO THE SALES ASSOCIATE SO THE LADY WHO WORKED THERE SAID NEVER-MIND HIM SO WHILE I WAS ON THE PHONE WITH TMOBILE HE WAS BEING VERY LOUD AND SCREAMING IN THE STORE WHILE LAUGHING IN TALKING TO THE SALES PEOPLE AND COMCAST WORKER IT WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER AND I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THAT STORE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE MANAGEMENT AND I AM TAKING THIS ABOVE.....
Rude on the phone. How do you plan on even getting people in the door if you cant even be bothered to hold a polite discussion on the phone??
Welcoming and very professional team i will recommend this location
Positive business environment very professional employees... the Manger DJ has been there for a while and is very finesse with his work and customers.
T-mobile is fake because I was getting a iphone and one of the employ said that I would pay 200 instead palling 600. I will never go there are stupid *****
Great customer service and attention. Always assisted by Herb.
Messed up my account, I only went in there for a upgrade and they added stuff to my account and I ended up paying way too much on my bill. My bill was suppose to be 120 when my phone was added and now its 200!!! Then when I went in the store to ask for help and see what was going on they ignore me, they even skip me when it was my turn to go up next.
I would rather talk to a customer representative on the phone rather than going to this T-Mobile store. The experience was disappointing when I came to redeem a logo towel from T-Mobile Tuesday.
Worst T-mobile store Ive been to. Employee couldnt answer my questions and signed us up for something I clearly asked her not to.
These dudes are incompetent. Everything that happened tonight wasnt their fault. Having 3 people at the end of the night, and only having one serve the remaining customers, is as dumb as the T-Mobile procedure that had me there in the first place.
Had my go everywhere WiFi installed.
Horrible customer service, rude employees acting like they dont want to be there.
To long waiting time need more people
This is the worst store I have ever been to I am really uncertain as to why they are still in business or why that staff is still there especially the manager,I WOULD RATHER GO WITHOUT A PHONE THAN HAVE THEM TAKE MY MONEY
Great customer service
Super busy and not enough employees.
Cheap plans
