Dr Nikle did a great job with my eye exam. However, I was very disappointed with their billing process. I felt like that they were being dishonest. My co-pay was $ 10.00 according to my insurance and they charged me $39.00. They did not tell me ahead about this $29.00 additional services they are going to provide. When I asked the receipt, they told me they would send it electronically through your email. I checked my email and did not see any receipt received from Copeland Eyecare, And the next day I have to come again to inquire my receipt, thats where I found that I was being charged additional of $29 of my copay of $10.00. This is not right. I want to get refund of my $29.00.I can tell you right away with this kind experience that I will not come to this place again. Please refund my $29.00.Regards,Wahyu B

Exam was easy, use new technologies, listened to my concerns and what I was looking for in contacts. Gave me a few samples to try and recommended new solution to help with my eyes. 100% recommend

My exam went very well. All my questions were answered very professionally. Found out why I was having eye itch and watering. Many glasses to choose from but never felt pressured to buy from them. All be said I will give it a personable, professional and caring experience.

The customer service was horrible. I stood right in front of the receptionist for over 10 minutes while she talked on the phone. She never once acknowledged that I was standing there. That is customer service 101. Doesnt matter if youre on the phone. ALWAYS acknowledge someones existence. By the time she actually got off the phone, 3 more people were standing in line and it was more than 10 minutes past my appointment start time. The doctor was fine but there should be more assistance so there arent people pooling at the entrance. Not very Covid prevention friendly. Do better.

Not happy at all with the glass prices.I thought Id give the Target Optical a try. So I looked online,found a Dr at the Target on the NE side of Cedar Rapids. Then I used their site to price glasses. It showed a little over $200 off Mfg for what I wanted, reasonable, so I booked the appointment. Dr was very good, price was exactly what they said, so I bought new glasses. Imagine my surprise when I was handed a bill for the full Mfg amount....over $200 more than the sire said. I looked the price back up on the site,, still discounted. Asked the lady there to honor it, she said they dont. Then I emailed the site once I got home, they said not all stores have to honor the prices. Really??? Cost me over $200 extra. I would have gone elsewhere for glasses had I known that!I gave this a 2 rating overall because of that. If I was just rating the doctor, I give the 5 stars. She was very informative, took time to explain all parts of the exam, was very personable and the price was reasonable. I will be going back for that part. But if just rating the eyeglass part, I would have given a 1.
