I can’t even express how wonderful Charlie and his team is. I was very disappointed and concerned that my 3 year old Jeep Wrangler needed a new radio/ stereo. My schedule is extremely busy and hectic so I had no idea how I was going to be able to get this taken care of . To be honest, I called a few audio places that were recommended prior to finding Sound Trax, but to my surprise they said that they didn’t have the parts and they didn’t have time to work on it for a few weeks. What a bummer to be out of music in your car on a nice sunny day with the windows and top down. I called Charlie this morning, and told him my predicament. He told me to head on down after work and he was happy to not only help me, but had everything in stock necessary, and was happy to do this in less than a day on a SATURDAY nonetheless. Upon arriving at Sound Trax, I was greeted and taken care of right away by Charlie. His knowledge and customer service was absolutely the most impressive I have seen in this business. He took the time to show me my options and made recommendations. Charlie had his team start on my car right away. He not only took my car on a weekend, but made it a priority to make sure that this was done quickly and efficiently with sacrificing accuracy. Not only did Charlie take care of my car right away, he made me feel extremely comfortable and welcomed me to stay while the replacement was being done. I am so happy with not only the result of the service that was done, but knowing that a wonderful establishment and wonderful people within those walls received my business. My jeep had the factory radio, and now I have a beautiful touchscreen radio with CarPlay. Installation looks beautiful. I usually do not write reviews, but it would’ve been a disservice if I did not spread the word regarding Sound Trax and Charlie. As I told Charlie upon my departure, he truly made my weekend on every level. Thank you to Charlie and his team, for going completely above and beyond and for their genuine kindness.

I dont even know where to start, Id give them 0 stars if I could. The fact that they took all day on both attempts to put a stereo in my car even though I had an appointment for 10:30 in the morning. Also the fact that they blew out my speakers and wont do anything for it. They sound like complete static now so I just went to a different stereo spot to get new speakers. WebLink, a feature on the pioneer stereo does not work either. Issue with the brake wiring job they did. Overall would NOT recommend whatsoever. (Update: the owner Len called me and asked for my side of the story and when I told him about my speakers he basically called me a liar and said my speakers werent mentioned. I dont know what is going on over there but all I know is that I will strongly discourage friends/family from getting work done at soundtrax).

Today Charlie from Sound Trax went above and beyond finding the perfect wheels and tires for my 2019 GTI!!!I had walked in at about noon to show him some ideas i had and to look at the huge variety of tires and rims on the sales floor then, I happened to fall in love with a set of niche rims and to top it all off Charlie and his guys has them mounted balanced and installed by the end of the day and they even stayed late to do so. I am so grateful to have chosen sound Trax and look forward to working with them more in the future!!!

Did a sound system install. Alpine X series. Pretty good. I asked them to mount the sub and tune the amp they didn’t do either but it’s ok. I want back to main st STERIO. However customer service was good. Also did my tires thwre as wel pretty decent.

I had a rockford fostgate speaker and tweeter install for a good price, as well as a super quick install, about 2 and a 1/2 hours. I was seriously impressed.

On a hunch we stopped in to have a Remote Starter installed in our beloved Jeep JK.Upon walking into this business you can tell you chose the right place to have work performed on your vehicle.From the start we were greeted by a very knowledgeable gentleman behind the counter who took the time to explain and go through the installation steps. At that time we also chose to have new LED headlights added as well and were given options that met our budget and concerns.We set up an appointment for later that day.We trust no one with our Jeeps, but I have to tell you conducting business with these trustworthy folks was simply outstanding. After the installation they invited us back into the shop and the installer took the time to go through and test our new additions to our Jeep and went over operation of the new additions.We could not have been happier with our decision to have them work on our Jeep and would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family. They care about the customer and we feel like it was money well spent buying our products at Sound Trax.

I went to Sound Trax to get a new exhaust put, a cold air intake as well I did a peddle commander and a light bar on the back of the truck. Excellent work no complaints would go there again. My mom uses them for work on her car and no problems there as well Next time I’m back in NY I’ll get more done

Sound Trax exceeded my expectations!The Dilemma:I have a Toyota Tundra with a Kenwood & full JL Audio system that was installed at another shop that never sounded right, specifically the bass coming from the highly rated JL Stealthbox, which would kind of ring out at around 100hz with a real annoying sound. I thought I wasted my money on this ridiculously expensive build.The Solution:I stopped in Sound Trax and explained my dilemma, then handed my keys to their tuning specialist Scott, and he blew my mind with an amazing transformation resulting from proper tuning. I cannot say enough good things about the enthusiasm, skill and communication that Scott showed while handling my case.They didnt even do the original install, but they treated me as if they did.This says a lot about their pride in customer service.In conclusion:Proper tuning by a knowledgeable specialist like Scott, is the best investment you can make in regards to achieving the best sound possible.

Bruce and the guys here were really great. Finished the installation in the time promised. Once I got home I realized that one of the speakers wasnt working. I took it back and they found broken wires that was not their fault. They fixed them at no charge. Made it clear that I could call or stop by at anytime if I had any questions or issues. Lifetime warranty on the installation and one year on the equipment.

Went here a few days ago to get my radio reinstalled and some wires fixed up that Jazz audio consistently destroyed. Charlie the sales rep was understanding, considerate and got the tech working as fast as possible. Joked around a bit and was out in about 45 minutes on a crazy busy Thursday night. My technician was absolutely awesome, came and told me what he was doing to my car, had some light conversation as I waited for my car in their private waiting area. He came back and took me into the garage, showed me what he did besides the radio and was just a super genuine guy.There was also an older gentleman who helped me with Charlie and he was extremely funny and a real people person. Definitely will come back again soon!

The customer service I received here, from Bruce in particular was well past impressive. With my mechanic telling me he couldnt fix my truck (it was turning its own lights on and off radio etc leaving me with a dead truck every morning) I brought it to the experts at Soundtrax. If I could give ten stars I would. I went to sound track where I met Charlie and James, who helped me clean up a nightmare from Tint world where they robbed me blind and didnt fix my truck properly. They gave me every option to help me save the money instead of up selling me products they did the opposite. So after talking to them I finally felt comfortable enough to drop my truck off, they did an amazing job on it. Im couldnt be more happy with my truck. I had a system put it for car. After they finished there was a high whine thru my speakers so loud... I brought it back. I picked it up, and to my surprise their solution was to turn my amp power to zero. My stereo is now inferior to the market stereo. I havent used my stereo since and the mechanic recently told me that it might be draining my battery. All the money wasted.Very disappointed. I feel like they dismissed me.

Didnt buy anything but Charlie was very helpful with showing me many options for my Navigator. Seemed a little expensive compared to other prices I was getting, but I think they may have been flexible with the price.

Theyve been around forever. Nice guys. Went in to get a price and set an appointment to get windows tinted and see how much they were getting for a cold air intake for my truck. An hour later, I have my windows tinted and CAI installed. This was on New years day at 3pm.. Eager to please. Good guys.

They could of told me it was long ago and to bad or charged me for a new one but no they replaced the whole thing. I wanted an alarm and new stereo and speaker system installed in my miata. Based on other reviews I went to Sound Trax and the reviews werent wrong. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and fully explained all details of what I wanted to have done. Even though the store hours were until 6PM they continued to work until my car was done well after 7PM. I was very worried that there would be some indication that work was done and was very pleased to see that I couldnt even tell that there was any work done on my car. Not only was I pleased that my car looked exactly as I had left it, everything worked beautifully. They explained the new equipment and I can go back at any time for any additional clarification. I highly recommend Sound Trax, see Bruce, such a gentleman.

I highly recommend this place. The service was A+. Staff was so friendly and honest. Went in to have alarm removed because it was giving me trouble (car dealer wanted to charge me $150) Sound Trax only charged me $65. I though the alarm was preventing car from starting so I wanted it removed, technician saw the problem and honestly told me the alarm wasnt the issue before doing any work. I had him do it anyway but the honesty was amazing. You dont see honesty like this other places.

I went to sound Trax to get the speakers replaced in my 1993 Jeep, Kevin was very helpful in helping me make a selection. He was honest and up front with prices and talked me out of unnecessary work that i thought i needed. He respected my opinion to refurbish my 20 year old radio rather than getting a new unit despite it not making logical sense and was kind enough to set me up with a loaner radio while my factory unit is getting refurbished. Ryan, The tech who worked on my jeep was very knowledgeable and helped identify that the radio was the cause of many of the jeeps audio problems. He even went over every wire twice to make sure one wasnt pinched and causing the problem. I highly recommend them, they are willing to work with you 100% to get exactly what you want at a fair price.Edit: A year later they honored their warranty when my refurbished radio started having problems with the buttons, they sent it out and quickly got it back at no cost to me. Great service once again, highly recommend them. Only wish i had more work to give them.

Best place to get your car equipment done, professional workers who know what their doing, very nice and respectful employees, outstanding job on my car stereo system, sub woofers, interior led lights, tweeters, short ram intake and today i got my remote start put in and they did a excellent job, quick and easy. First let me say do not let irresponsible people in your vehicle if you have a few thousand dollars worth of equipment in it. Someone spilled drink on my sound processor and fried a few things. The staff is super nice, but when I went last year, the owner was rude. The person who repaired my stereo even told me the owner charges way too much and gave me some stuff for free. They need new ownership because I need to get my radio fixed but I refuse to go here because of the owner.

Bruce and the others did a real solid and helped diagnose my remote starter issue after I got it installed by them about 2 years ago. It seems that the remotes just lost their programming somehow, and they were able to help a ton.

Very helpful great deals know there stuff

I had a remote start installed in November 2017 but had difficulty with it working. It seemed that the range on the key fob of my 2016 NIssan Rogue wasnt strong enough. After doing way more than their share of troubleshooting with me, Sound Trax suggested bringing it to Nissan to double check the receiver/transmitter (which Nissan said was ok). After giving that info to Sound Trax, they offered to give me the seperate remote which would have a much longer range at no charge. I am so pleased with the results! The remote works great, but whats more, Bruce, Peter and the crew were extremely patient and friendly. Consummate professionals. I would recommend Sound Trax to everyone!

Ive used Soundtrax on multiple occasions and theyve always done quality work and are extremely professional.

I made an appointment to drop off my 2009 Toyota Yaris for a new radio, they took the make and model number when I made the appointment and quoted me a price of $300. I dropped off the car at the time of appointment and was told it would be ready in a few hours. I got a call that night stating that they were missing a part but it should be in tomorrow and they would need to keep the car overnight. The next day they called and said they couldnt put a radio in that make and model car. It took allegedly professional installers two days to figure this out? Incompetent and unprofessional, I will never go there again, I rather deal with someone that knows there business and doesnt waste my time.

This is the secound vehicle they did a installation, the first was a 2011 Mazda speed3 back when Boston acoustic was still around. They did that car awesome job on that! So I decided to bring my 2015 chevy silverado in, I had them make me a custom dog platform for my 2 large dogs and a full system which includes 3 pairs of Rockford fosgate door speakers and a 10 inch Rockford sub, with 2 amps, a loc and a capacitor. They took there time and made sure everything came out awesome. I live in deer park and I travelled out there because I knew it would come out perfect. Thank you again sound trax for exceeding my expectations! I fully recommend anyone to go there for any of your automotive and marine needs!!

I needed some work done on my 2003 Thunderbird, and I was personally referred to SoundTrax by my mechanic. The representative I dealt with was Charlie. I explained to him that I had a problem with my alarm system, and that I had brought my car to one of his competitors who is a stones throw away from their shop.I explained to him that the other shop took all of 5 minutes to look at my vehicle, and he told me that before he could even repair the problem, that he was going to have to charge me for 2 hours labor just to pull the whole system apart.I went to SoundTrax to keep the other shop honest, and was pleased to find out that they were able to diagnose the problem in 10 minutes, and were able to replace the siren for $50.Their staff is courteous, knowledgeable, and honest. I would recommend their shop to anyone without the slightest hesitation.

I have had many things done at Soundtrax over the years. The staff is amazing very helpful every time i come up with one of my outrageous ideas they have always found ways to come very close to what i want to do. The service is also great the technicians will come from the back and ask you exactly what is wrong so that they have a better idea of whats wrong so that they can fix the problem the first time. Funny story, When I was a kid I took my first car to Square Deal in Holtsville. I wanted a ballin stereo system. My salesperson put together a system that was ampd up as well as a cool 8 track player. I had my tunes baby!Years later, I went to Sound Tracks in Stony Brook to upgrade my Corvette system. My Corvette is like the dog you loved as a kid except its with me until I turn into worm food or someone gives me a check for $20k. Its what I bought after I left the military and just kept for years and years.I walk into the store and see the same sales guy who sold me my stereo system?! We start Bsing and he sells me new speakers for my Chevy.Anyhoo, after 15 years I thought it was time to upgrade the stereo in my beloved Chevy.
