Somehow my original review got deleted.Winter 2018 I was price gouged by Youngs Propane company. Irving had the best prices around and had a incentive of 10c off every gallon at an Irving gas station. So I called them, took time off from work and they sent a tech out to insure everything would be fine, which it was. I ran my Youngs tank out for the swap (always run it close to out as no company will reimburse you properly) leave work that afternoon with a phone call saying they refuse to drop the new tank because I have a bridge on my property built with (4) w12 beams.Regardless my house went cold. And they wanted me to hire an PE to rate my bridge. Being a mechanical engineer I calculated it for them but they would not accept it. I heated the rest of the year on wood, and switched to another company that has been good to me out of bellows falls.
The folks at Irving Energy were exceptional with customer service, prompt response and quick reliable service. They were tremendous problem solvers for getting heating running and hot water running for us. I would recommend them highly for their willingness to help. Thanks especially to the service techs and the office folks. They were more than helpful and friendly to newcomers to the area. Thanks folks!
If you have a choice, DO NOT go with Irving Energy. They have double charged my account on three occasions. It should be illegal to access someones bank account without permission.
I have been with them for 3 years. I needed to call them every time for something after each delivery. They would put in more fuel than I gave permission. They have a big problem with communication between the office and the delivery people. The last thing was that they double charged me for the fuel. I called and asked if I could put it on credit card -that it would not come out of checking. They said it would only go on credit. Looked in both accounts and got charged in both. Took me 2 phone calls and over 1 hour to fix. I have spent to much of my time on the phone with them to fix thier mistakes. Sorry is one of thier favorite words. Maybe they need to train people and all be on same page as I have gotten different stories in same day. CLOSED MY ACCOUNT.
