I had rented a unit on June 4th 2020 at your location at 3007 longmire drive, college station, Texas. I had been out of town, so I did not access my storage unit for a long duration. On 24th feb 2021 I got a call from your facility manager saying that my storage was missing a lock. Later it was discovered that my unit was broken into. I filed a claim with insurance but it got rejected . I was unable to provide cctv footage proof to the insurance since you do not have cctv cameras covering my unit. I had a new lock put on the storage unit after this incident. It was only opened once after that. Finally, I came back to town and personally went down to check on it. When I tried to access the unit the lock seemed like it was jammed. I eventually had to knock it and it popped open. After accessing the unit, I realized that it was broken into again. The person had broken into it and replaced my lock with an identical one. There were some things inside the locker that were not mine. I was basically paying for someone else storing in my unit. I had a police officer come down to the unit for investigation. After being a customer for one year, this is the kind of situation I have to face. I am still paying 40 $ a month on unit. This storage unit doesnt have proper security systems to keep your storage safe. A cctv is the most essential security that is available, yet they lack it. I have posted pictures of my unit. The first one is of the unit before the first break in, the second after the first break in and the third after the second break in.

I was about to give up hope on this storage facility but Buffy was wonderful! Not only did she assist me over the phone but she followed up with me. Excellent customer care!!

RUN AWAY!!! Dishonest and money hungry! We were arriving from out of town on a Sunday (mind you, the facility is closed this day), so we called the Thursday before to make arrangements for our arrival. We paid for our unit that day, as the gentleman insisted we do as they would not be open on Sunday when we moved in. When we moved out of the unit, they charged us from the day we made our payment rather than the day we moved in, so we were charged an additional $119 for an empty unit. Assuming they would do the right thing, we called explaining the situation the day before our ACTUAL move out date, and the lady seemed annoyed that we brought it to her attention. Instead she referred us to the corporate office, and said they would be calling us which we never heard from them. We tried to call the number provided multiple times with no response. These are not honest or trustworthy folk, so do your business elsewhere.

Staff was very helpful and polite. We were able to get a unit quick! They also made sure it was cleaned and taken care of before we put the furniture in!

They are extremely helpful and have the best customer service. One of their employees Buffy helped me and went the extra mile to make sure I had an storage building even when she was out. There was an major mess up that wasn’t even their fault but she picked up the pieces and put them together to help me out. I cannot thank her enough and for the patience she had.

Not bad unit pricing, wish their access hours were later but no other complaints.

I just wish it had a different exit gate but thats literally the only downside other than I wish the entrance/exit wasnt so rough on my tires

I helped my sons mother get some items out of her storage building one night at 8:30 PM. Anyway the gates close after 10:00 PM and it doesnt matter if your inside the gate or outside. We actually were trying to leave the facility at 9:15 PM and we could not get out and there wasnt any after hours number to call or any sort of information posted as to what someone would need to do in this situation. I called every number I could find for this business and left several messages. No has ever called me back or my sons mother either. I looked and found that the side gate which had a lock on it was dummy locked and was able to leave finally but, the management obviously will not help, regardless.

The staff hear is awesome. Communication is the key here. They are willing to try and help with any problem.

I hope this review dissuades anyone from considering to use SecurCare for storage. We had an incident there where a SecurCare employee vandalized profanity on one of our trailers we stored there. I asked for security footage to find out what happened but they informed me that their cameras were broken when the incident happened and that it wasnt their employee(later they told me it was indeed their employee and that he was immediately terminated).It took me 4 months of talking with different managers from SecurCare(all the way to their corporate office) to try to get this matter handled. They are lacking customer service, especially on incidents that are their fault....It was a horrible incident and terrible handling of it by SecurCare. This is a lousy and pathetic company.

BE WARNED, I rented a storage unit at the King St. location on the westside of Colorado Springs, CO, only to have every thing I virtually own in this world stolen. Thieves entered the King St. location under their so called secure care watchful eye, cut the lock off my door, and stole everything I own. At some point following the break in, somebody placed a new lock on my door. Of course the staff knew nothing, and seemed to care even less. The area manager was very unhelpful...in fact he seemed to be combative. I filed a police report with CSPD, and was assigned a CSPD Detective. That detective requested video surveillance footage from the front gate (one of two cameras on the entire property). In addition, that detective confirmed that there had been a series of break ins at the King St. location. I have an email from the Area Manager stating that he had sent the detective all video footage and subsequent info that he would need. I received a phone call one afternoon from the detective saying that he never received video or anything pertinent to this investigation - Secure Cares Area Manager blatantly lied to me about sending the footage.Only after posting negative remarks on their Facebook page, did I finally hear from corporate. In September of 2018, I received a call from Secure Care corporate, telling me that they wanted to do right by me - I was even asked to forward the email in which their manager had lied...and I did. I never heard back...nothing, Ive heard nothing. It is because of their corporate offices lack of response, and the companies complete negligence in securing my property, that I post this warning to any and all would be renters. Everything that I have stated here is fact. If you value your property, you should run...not walk, run away from SecureCare Self Storage. As Ive made my way thru the reviews of other locations, Im seeing a pattern of frequent break ins. Clearly SecureCare is neither secure...and of course we already know they do not care. Renting from SecureCare was the single biggest mistake I have ever made in my life - I lost everything that I valued in life.
