I went in today for an exam. The support staff got me checked in on time and were very professional. Dr. Musto was also great. He did the exam and took the time to answer all my questions and options. He is well qualified and very professional. No loud rock music (I saw the other post). Yes, the building is older but its clean and functional, so fine with me, and the eye equipment looks like state of the art, so I was happy.
This was the one of best eye doctor appointments I’ve ever been too, all the staff were amazing and super professional the also pay attention to the client. Dr. Nicole Rose as well as The GM Amber Hickman we’re incredibly helpful with all the information they helped explain it all so that I knew all of the terms and prescriptions. I would 110% recommended this myeyedoctor to anyone thank you all again!!!!
I do not recommend purchasing glasses from this location of MyEyeDr. I went in for my first appointment in late May 2021. My glasses were ready to be fitted and picked up June 9th 2021. I had to go back weekly for 7 more tries to get them corrected. On the 5th visit I was given a second eye exam which changed my script... each visit I missed at least 2 hours from my job. In mid August, I took the glasses back and demanded a refund and was told to come back the following week to talk to the manager.. It is now September and I have just given up on getting a pair of glasses from this place that I am able to use. I am very mad about all of the hours of work missed and not having any glasses that I can see thru to do my job. I do not know what to do other than just give up and just write off the 1400 dollars out of pocket for these glasses.
They have new management now and is so much better … Amber is pretty great knows what’s she doing and the whole team was very professional and friendly!!!
I visited this location today because my daughters boyfriend had broken his only pair of glasses at work the day before. His vision is horrible, so for him to be without his glasses was pretty awful, but we never expected them to be able to replace the glasses that same day. In fact, I didn’t even think they could be repaired because one of the arms was missing. A gentleman greeted us as we came in, and I explained the problem. He used spare parts to fix the glasses while we waited and they looked amazing. I asked what I owed and they wouldn’t let me pay. Phenomenal job, and will last him until he is eligible for his new pair in November. This kid was so happy to be able to see again!The administrative staff was also extremely kind and helpful. 10/10 would recommend and will be back.

Dr Musto did a great job. Took his time explaining and demonstrating the ins/outs of wearing contacts for the first time. He listened to my concerns and made sure they were addressed in his solution. Looking forward to going back.
I am a health care provider & scheduled an online appointment a couple of months ago. On arrival I was asked if I was a health care provider & then was told they would not see me. Completely asymptomatic. No screening call ahead of time. I did receive an appointment confirmation call 2 days ahead of time, no prerecorded warning. Our family will never be back.
Very upsetting that they will not see health care providers. I have been going to Dr. Smith for 26 years now. I followed him to MyEye Doctor when he left his private practice several years ago. I love Dr. Smith! He is the best!! I don’t understand why this company is denying those of us who have dedicated our lives caring for others the right to care for ourselves! Very upsetting! Dr. Smith i miss you and my eyes do too!
Left 2 voicemails. Its been over 24 hours and counting. No one returned my call. Dont blame this on Covid. You run a business. Calls should be returned promptly. Still waiting....filing a complaint with corporate. Lets see how that goes.
Our company just switched to them for our prescription safety glasses. One of the guys that I work with was unhappy with their selection. And, another guy I worked with ordered his two months ago and still has not received a call to pick up his glasses. Both, said the facility was dirty and the people were unprofessional. Matter of fact, they discussed the one employee who refused to get any of their glasses with the other employee. Not cool. Now, I need new glasses and I’m not looking forward to going here.
The visit was good. My complaint was I had a 8 am appointment. Arrived at 7:50. Door was locked. The receptionist came to the door, I said I had a 8 oclock. She said ok walked Away and left the door locked. I sat in my car till 8:02 when they unlocked the door.
I am revising my previous review. Mark the manager of this location has gone way above the call of duty to help me. He and he alone is the reason for this revision. Thanks for all your help Mark!
Coronavirus policies are poor. No way to social distance in the small amount of space. Heard the employees complain about their jobs and co-workers. Doesn’t seem like the most inviting place to be.
This place is an unprofessional joke! Waste of time with no consideration for their patients. My daughter has been waiting 2 weeks for her appt- once she arrives, they advise they cannot help her as she needs to have another eye exam, which is ok, but why not tell us that when we made the appt? They knew exactly what she was coming in for! Pure laziness to even check anything in their outdated system. They sent her off as they were booked solid. To some it’s not a big deal, but when your stretched for time, makes a world of a difference. Couldn’t be accommodated being they screwed up?!?! She was already there for HER appointment. Garbage and unprofessional!
I had my first visit today with Dr. Smith. When I made my appointment the guy on the phone was super helpful. On the day of my appointment I walked in and was greeted with a warm smile. I went back very quickly. The lady who checked my eyes was professional. For my exam Dr. Smith was super friendly, funny, professional, and highly intelligent. He educated me on my eyes and what would be the best solution and outcome for my eye needs. Once it was time to check out my insurance benefits were explain to me and how they would be used at my visit. It took a little while to check out they didnt know how to enter my benefits. They apologized for the wait. Which didnt bother me. Overall they seemed very busy and everyone seemed to be doing something and working as a team to help each other. I was very impressed. I will be back.
My husband and I visited on 12/30/17. We were in the rush to get our benefits in before the end of the year. The office was great about having all hands on deck and plenty of appointments to serve everyone. Dr. Hart was very thorough with us and took time with us both. Everyone working in the optical shop was patient and helped us choose glasses that we loved. Glasses came in quickly and we are pleased.
Came here for an eye exam and contact. Ordered 4 boxes of contacts. Went into pick them up, they only have 2 boxes. I paid $250 and now Im going to my CC company and getting my money back!
Went in for a contact exam, took longer for me to wait to be checked out than the exam itself. Waited almost an hour after the exam just to be told they would have to look up and manually enter in my prescription. Waited on that and they gave me a prescription that was not mine.My eyes were dilated and this is the first place Ive been to where they did not offer sunglasses or protection for my eyes after being dilated.I would not recommend this location to anyone unless youre willing to spend over 2hrs at the eye doctor for a routine eye exam.Only reason they are not getting one star is because the staff was friendly and I could tell they were getting impatient at their other coworkers for not doing their jobs.
I had bad experiences with this place. The Dr was good. But when the exam was completed they lady would not give me my prescription. Had to get my glasses there. Not good. Went through 2 wrong pairs of glasses. Now these just broke and the prescription is still wrong!!!!!!!! Cant see distance and my eyes are always tired looking through them. I would not recommend them. The glasses are expensive and do not work. Why is this??????
Had a great experience with Dr. Smith today. He was very friendly and excellent with my wild toddler I had with me today. The staff was extremely nice and helpful as well. Definitely recommend this office ☺️
I have used Dr Cleo Smith (The more seasoned Doctor) for several years and have no complaints. I find him to be professional and easy to talk too.Regarding the staff - They have always been very attentive and easy to work with when buying eye wear.
This place is awesome and so is the service. I used to go to cabarrus eye Care center but since Dr Farris retired it has gone way down hill. This place knows there stuff and gets me better discounts on my contacts than any place around my area. I will keep going back.
Called a few days ago and made an appointment. Told them (over the phone), that I was getting safety glasses. Show up, do eye exam. They even wrote safety glasses on paperwork. Get to the point where I need to pick out the glasses....and guess what?! They tell me they dont sell safety glasses.So, they wasted my time. They failed to mention MULTIPLE TIMES that they didnt have the safety glasses. When I called, they could have said sorry, we dont have safety glasses.....Then, they screwed up the paperwork and a competitor of theirs fixed it.***The optometrist was very nice, but the rest of the business is garbage.Not going back.
Walked right in and was greeted right away, even when it was busy. They helped me find and order glasses quickly and easily. Highly recommend.
I had a 4pm Appt arrived 10 mins early the door was locked waited in my car till 4 and the receptionist comes to the door and say oh the Dr is running late can you wait in you car. After waiting more then 30 mins in my car I decided to leave. Very unprofessional !!!
Not happy with my experience Wont be coming back again. Picked up my 1st set of glasses there were defects they were not inspected. I found the defecks and scratches, they ordered me another pair same thing didnt inspect them and the glasses needed to cleaned and acted like I should be happy because they did me a favor. Not one apology or worried about inconveniencing me.
I have pretty bad anxiety with doctors. They were so patient! I cant remember the nurses name, but she was awesome! Dr. Hart was great as well and the lady in the glasses section was so sweet and patient. Thank you!
I would not recommend coming to this place. Dr. Hart was in a hurry and very rude. He was a racist! He wanted to get us out of there as soon as possible. I wouldn’t even rate this place one star.
Made appointment for Tuesday with person over the phone. When I show up, Im told the appointment was scheduled for Thursday. Now I have to reschedule another day all over again. Not happy with this location.
Ive used this office multiple times over the years for my children. They are notorious for making appointments and then rescheduling them. It has happened to me multiple times. This time was the last time. I scheduled appointments for my children MONTHS in advance due to their irregular school schedule. I was told today by a very rude and condescending associate that they would not be able to see my daughter on this day because no one would be there for her appointment but they can still see my son on this day. I asked her if everyone else scheduled on this day reserved their slot months in advance because if not, it is not fair that our appointment is being bumped. I told her that I was going to find another doctor for my children. Alright, whatever. Have a good day. What atrocious unprofessional beasts do you have handling your customers? You should be out of a job!
I went for a check up, and one of the doctors seemed to ask a lot about my personal life instead of my eyes. pissed me off when he asked if my wife was just my girlfriend and how long weve been together. ill definitely find another place to go.
Charged $130 for eye exam, and $883 for two pair of lenses and exam. Used my existing frames. Was given a different total when I was there. Lady I talked to was not very nice, so I was not nice either.
Its impossible to actually talk to anyone at their offices.
Its sad but my long time eye Dr. of twenty years shut down his practice and moved to MyEyeDr. My wife and I have been going there since the move but the service is not good. If you call you cant get any real help and it doesnt matter if you just had an exam last month, if you call about anything, they just want to book you for another exam. On my last visit 11 weeks ago, I was given one trial contact with no follow up appointment. I wore it for a month and called to let them know that monovision (one contact) was not a good solution for me. I was told to make another appointment. I tried to explain that I didnt even get so much as a prescription out of my last visit but they didnt care. It is sad but we have to go elsewhere.
This company actually gets 5 negative stars. Very clumsy with how they allow new hires to be treated by the employees that were acquisitioned into the MyEyeDr brand. Before I was hired, I failed to read reviews on customer satisfaction. Ive learned later that not only are the majority of their customers unhappy, but they also cant retain their valuable employees either. Now, this has to be the on their management team. Unprofessional and think its ok to have such high turn over with employees...red flag to prospective customers. Not slandering or defaming, but I saw it first hand. Its true. And what is true is not slander or defamation. Let it be known!!!
The lack of customer service and professionalism here is jaw dropping! I went here in hopes of getting into contacts. Insurance paid for a complete exam and contact fitting. I left pretty happy but that changed fast. Couldnt see at night but I figured it was just an adjustment period. After 7days, it wasnt improving so I went back for recheck. I expressed my concerns. Dr said that no other contacts will work if the ones I had didnt. He told me to change solutions (a more expensive one) and use more eye drops (also very expensive). I tried that for 2 more weeks with no avail. Went back and seen a different dr. I talked her into letting me try a different brand. They were very comfortable but one eye was a little blurry. Called back and told them the problem and they ordered me a new pair thinking mine were defective. The new ones were the same. I finally came to the conclusion that contacts dont agree with me. Started shopping for glasses and quickly realized that myeyedrs prices are very inflated. Shopped around and finally found some at an affordable price at LensCrafters. LCs had to make myeyedr release my insurance because they had a hold on it. Also had to get my rx faxed over too. Went to pick up my new glasses and they were the wrong rx! Myeyedr sent the wrong Rx!! Went back to myeyedr to find out what the deal is. The Rx they sent was the Rx they had from my recent exam just 2 months ago. Said I had to make an appointment to get another exam!! They have absolutely no consideration for my time. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!! You will regret it!!! Go to LC. They were incredibly helpful and understanding throughout this whole fiasco!!!

Called for pricing on contacts since I ran out & they couldnt even do that they looked me up in the system, were very rude and clearly didnt want to be bothered and told me to go the myeyedr I first received my contacts from and hung up on me I didnt ask where to go I asked for pricing
Went in for an exam and contacts. They did not know my insurance coverage so they didn’t give me options in contact lenses that were covered. They also double billed me for the eye mapping. They did refund me but I will not be going back.
