Went there had strange noise coming from engine. He listen to it and knew exactly what to do he installed a new water pump and I have not had any more trouble. They were quick and reasonable price . My sons Chrysler PT Cruiser started stalling out and intermittently shutting off while he was driving. I was afraid the car would stop while he was driving in heavy traffic. I took the car to another shop which I wont name and they had the car for weeks, when I got the car back it was still shutting off and the problem even got worse. I must say Im reluctant about trusting a auto repair shop I hadnt done previous business with or at least having a friend or relative thats done business with them. I reluctantly took my car to ABS. I explained the problem and I explained there had been a lot of new parts thrown at the problem in an attempt to repair it. I dropped the car off and a day and half later I got a call saying the car was repaired and ready for me to pick up. After I picked up the car and drove it, I was expecting the fantom problem to rear its ugly head again. I was pleasantly surprised the car ran great. A day or so later to my surprise I received a text message from the shop owner wanting to know if I had any issues with any of the repairs that were made. He said if I have any issues to let him know. Its rare to find a qualified repair shop and even rarer to find one that has excellent customer service. Most companies today dont understand the concept without great service there wont be any customers.Thanks ABS for a job well done

Driving across country from Virginia to New Mexico, we broke down in Georgia. We went through our insurance and were assigned a great towing company ABS automotive, the driver towed me and my family to the ABS shop and even allowed my service dog to travel in the tow truck, where our transmission was replaced. The service was superb and very fast, still got us on the road in 3 days even after having to order a new transmission.a plus was, they offered a military discount, highly recommend them, huge Thank You to Lamar and Scott for the great customer service!

I’ve used ABS off and on for the past couple years. Once with my Honda, now with my Dodge. I have had nothing less than excellent service each time. This last service I had I was stellar!! I’m a traveler for work and was leaving on Monday. Friday I needed it done ASAP. They had a busy “hectic” day but I decided to drop it off and allow them to work on it. They took my car, worked me in that morning and had me out before they closed. Great price and service! My car is now driving amazing!!

We were on our way from Michigan to Florida and stopped at our sons in Douglasville. Our vehicle wouldnt start. ABS promptly sent a wrecker. The driver was very friendly and helpful. At the shop they quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it keeping us informed along the way. Would use them again and would recommend to others.

My Corvette was picked up by ABS from a auto repair shop that refused to work on Corvettes.The tow truck driver assured me that ABS could diagnose and repair my 2005 Corvette. My car was repaired by the next morning, and the price was fair. A couple of days later, ABS followed up to make sure everything is okay. That one gesture created a new long term customer.

My insurance company said they will be here in a hour long and behold A gentleman name Tavon showed up within 15 minutes and loaded my car like I never scene before he use the bed and pushed it all the way under the car and had all the wheels on the bed completely without using chains or anything after 1 company came and left me and said he couldn’t do it I need a wheel lift tavon had the same truck as him got it done safely professionally and in a quick manner and gave me a ride home after the insurance company said he wouldn’t be able to take anybody in the truck . I advise everybody to use this company and hope you get tavon

Seventeen years ago, we moved from Atlanta to Douglasville and needed a mechanic, fast. I stopped at a mechanic shop and inquired about getting my car serviced. The kind gentleman told me that he did not provide the type of service I needed but that he knew someone who did. He said, go see Lamar, hes a nice guy, a good man, a fair and decent human being. That was all I wanted to hear. So fast forward May 07th., 2021 and my granddaughter was having some car issues: the brakes on her car were squeaking. I called ABS Automotive & Towing (or as I like to say, call Lamar). It was almost noon when I called, Scott got us in right away and promised the car would be ready by the end of the business day. Well, about two hours later, Scott called: the vehicle was ready. We were so overjoyed; the car was fixed and we did not have to break the bank to fix the brakes. Wait, theres more...on Monday morning, I received a personalized text from Lamar, just following up to see if we were satisfied with the service we received. Thats exceptional customer/client care. Unfortunately, a couple of weeks ago I received a tow from them through my auto insurance provider.I was told that the driver would be arriving within a 90 minute time frame. However, about 10 minutes after the specified timeframe expired, I received an unprofessional, inaudible call from dispatch. It sounded like he had just awakened. He stated that it would be another hour until the driver arrived.Furthermore, he was referring to me by my first name like we were friends instead of me being a customer. In addition, he was not apologetic for wasting my time. I suspect that they intentionally accept the roadside assistance call knowing that they have no intentions on meeting their specified ETA.Next, the driver arrived and he was just as unprofessional as dispatch. He sat in the tow truck for 10 minutes when he arrived without acknowledging me. When he finally got out of the truck- he didnt say hello or good morning etcTo add the icing on the cake- when the tow truck driver arrived at my destination with my vehicle; I was told that I would need to drive my vehicle off of the tow truck ramp !!!Needless to say, I submitted a complaint to my auto insurance provider. Hopefully, they are reprimanded and evaluated immediately!They are a hazard!

Lamar from Abs Automotive gained a new customer today. Its rare for mechanic to do a follow-up to make sure there customer is satisfied. His team was able to troubleshoot and resolve a piston miss fire problem that was caused by Bradford Automotive Mobile Mechanic. The inexperienced mechanic replaced my air injection smog pump on an 06 Toyota Tacoma. After he put the intake back together you can see he did it improperly and a bolt was missing. After investigation by Abs Automotive they were able to find the cause of the issue which was a bolt that was found next to the intake valve. Thank you Lamar and team!!

A.B.S. installed a new alternator, timing belt, radiator & water pump kit on my 2004 Lexus. All work was done satisfactorily & my car has performed flawlessly. They also followed up afterwards to make sure I haven’t experienced any issues. Good work & would use them again.

Called for a tow through triple AAA and they picked up my service call.One of the worst experience ever and I had to file a complaint because they had my car in tow for over 5 hours and got upset wit me because I reported them for not dropping my car off yet.My car was picked up at 6:22 and it’s almost midnight now and this company has yet to drop it off!!! One scratch on my Lexus or anything missing and I will file a lawsuit against this company! Never ever will I use them and I will make sure to let everyone I come in contact with know not to use them!!! Very unprofessional and the guy that picked up my car was so hyped up and jittery the whole experience was terrible stay far away from using this company services!Even AAA couldn’t believe how long they had my car smh.

I was a walk-in the day if my service they advised me my wait will be about an hour and it wasnt a minute past that. Also they quote me an higher cost than the dealership ABS charged me what I wouldve paid.Ive brought my car to ABS before thats why I came back.

Took my 2007 Charger Srt8 to Lamar for an engine change. When everyone else said they could not find an engine or parts due to the Dodge plants being shut down, he was able to find me a great replacement engine for a great price and had it installed in only a few days. Takes a long time to get anything done here. No communication. Ive called about my car and they say they will call you back and dont. Also did not get car done in the time they said, not even close.

Very fast, quality work at a fair price. Had a main brake line replaced on a my car. I had it towed in on a Tuesday after closing time, and they had it up and ready to go midday on Thursday. Driver is on 400 in the fast lane. No cars is in front of him! He’s purposely holding up traffic! Causing traffic like we don’t have Enough! Than when traffic hits he’s now in the emergency lanes pretending he is picking a car. I have all of this on my dash cam!

After several weeks of waiting and numerous phone calls I finally received my car. I was told that I needed a fuel pump. When I picked up my car the smell of gasoline was overbearing. Its been six days and I still cannot drive my car or park it in my garage due to the smell. The cost to replace the fuel pump was not cheap. Im posting my experience that maybe their service will improve and provide customers with much better experience than I received.
