They offer to order books and ship them to the store for free for you if they dont have what youre looking for. Sometimes the service is just OK. Occasionally it feels like Im interrupting the employee and they seem irritated. Aside from that, awesome selection, especially for Legos.
I like going to this store but its very overpriced. Theres a Bookmans in town that I like their entire store better. Barnes & Noble in Flagstaff is more of a place to go look around or shop only when you cant find what youre looking for at another place in town. Needs to be better stocked.
My boyfriend brings me once every two months to refill my to be read shelf and Ill tell you what, they always have the hottest authors and theres never a book I want that I cant find. Ive loved book heaven since I was a kid
One of the few great bookstores that are out of the red still existing the iconic name brings them in where you could get hot coffee any mag to peruse and maybe a chess game out of your stop any rare books that you are thinking about can be sought a great place for my buddy to meet on our way to the Flagstaff athletic club for a nap in the sauna love this place and will continue stopping here
Very clean store, I love being in Barnes and Noble and getting lost in the shelves. The staff is very courteous and helpful. They are very knowledgeable on books, locations, and authors.
Lot of neat books lot of tech books and Tech magazines. Good music I like to buy the cds 💿.
Very neat, and the cafe staff was helpful. Love the free wifi. Great place to get some work done and be tempted by fun books and board games Ive never heard of before.
As you can tell from my profile I dont do reviews. Thats how bad this experience was. Went in happy to support an in person store and walked out knowing why people would rather order on Amazon. Gave me the total and I brought up the price on the sticker. Oh well the price went up. Im sorry, but when the price goes up you either change the sticker or honor the price thats on the item. If I didnt have the gift cards I needed to use up I wouldve walked out of there. People that own stock better sell now. This place is doomed with the kind of overpriced, unsatisfactory, and dishonest service you get.
Wonderful staff. Good selection. Need to check on bathroom cleaning more often.
Well, its a Barnes and Noble. Always nice, lots of unusual small gifts and toys along with virtually all the latest releases for the fiction, fact, history, politics and opinion junkies amongst us. Wide variety of publications. Flagstaff is a College town so there are some rather eclectic items but that makes this B&N a bit different. Getting to it is easier from the North than the South in our view.
If it was possible to give negative stars those would be too much. I attempted to purchase some goodies while up in Flag for a weekend get away, Iliana at the register really needs an attitude adjustment, after I paid she handed me my items and receipt but NO BAG, I asked for a bag as I had small oddly shaped gift items and it was raining outside. She pointed to a sign that said we are running low on bags... and she told me they are low (not out) of bags, i again asked for a bag, Iliana then threw up her arms, said im done with you and stomped off while shouting you can leave my store, im calling mgmt ok thats fine, ill just wait right here. she takes the next customer at another register THEN calls a manger, who knows what she tells this manager because he claims i wasnt here i dont know when I explain all i wanted was a bag but now since Iliana made me wait even longer Im simply going to return your $80 worth of items and order them from amazon where they will arrive before I return home, packaged in a box, bubble mailer or however and there wont be any arguments or complaints. This is exactly why stores are failing, customers do not want to fight over a dang bag for purchases in the rain. I rarely shop at actual stores for gifts or much of anything and this solidifies my reasoning why.
I asked for what I wanted and was taken to the pproper shelf by a friendly clerk. I found a couple more things I wanted, took them to the check-out, and was helped by another friendly clerk. The store is big, well-lit, and great for browsing.
Helpful, friendly staff and a great selection books and a good coffee shop, but disappointed in their selection of flower identification books for northern Arizona.
Not many places in Kanab for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised to find this place. Nice staff good food and great scones.
Its really good for my children so many books to read. I enjoy their journals & calendars.
One of the best places ever to find new books.Il love that they stock books from popular book clubs too. Their Childrens book section is awesome. I cand find journals and writing items as well. Great bookstore and well known.
Restrooms are still closed and that’s lame. As far as the bookshelves are concerned, this is a good store. But a retail business that really cares about the customer experience would make restrooms available as we are now 12 months along the pandemic. Many smaller businesses have figured this out. We found a couple of good books, but had to leave to find restrooms elsewhere.
Amazing help, theyve had virtually all the titles Ive looked for! Great customer service as well.
Love coming here. I always get something good even when Im not looking for anything
Nice & peaceful so many books to choose from 😊📖
I really love the store it was very nice and clean.Had a good selection of manga. Some volumes were missing but still good.
Youre everyday Barnes and Noble. They did have a huge selection of CDs and DVDs!
We couldnt remember the last time we had been in a book store. They didnt have what we were looking for but still a great store.
Easy in. Complicated process for getting out of the parking lot if youre going east for going north involving a Dairy Queen & a stop light.
As expected, its a nice place to hang out and see whats new and trending
They’ve got a pretty wide variety of books here and the staff members are friendly.
Staff was very efficient in finding a book that I needed, also they are very covid-conscious which I appreciate.
So overpriced! Amazon is much cheaper!
Super easy to understand where books are, great selection!
Didnt have anything I was looking for, all the Barnes and nobles in mesa, phx, and gilbert always do.
The business section is small and lacks a good variety. A majority of their business section is making millions. I would prefer more books on management. Their store hours are different than what’s on the door as they open at 10:30 and not 10:00. I am not sure why as the staff gets there around 10:30 so they’re not doing any extra cleaning for COVID. No staff greeted me in the store. The store is kind of messy, books out of sorts and staff is standing around. They do push the B&N membership.
Like it. Its like a library with coffee lol
They still sell CDs which is awesome! Not much of a selection for heavy music tho
This Barness & Noble is nice and its quiet. We like to shop here for the movies. My girls especially like to get their kpop albums here as well. Although they dont have a big selection of kpop albums, most times they are lucky to find 1 album of a different band. Not to mention they have a Starbucks inside as well.
I like the variety of things that are there.
Friendly, clean and quiet. I rediscovered my love of book stores. A place of true discovery.
My girls love the books... I prefer the cookies
Excellent selection of books and very helpful staff. Very clean and fair prices, I understand covid fears but open your restrooms.
Good place to buy books. The cashier, Arianna, was helpful in attempting to locate another copy of a book that was damaged. When there was no other copy she offered a 10% discount. I appreciate this as I was attempting to buy a book for a friend.
Friendly staff. Nice selection. Fun finding books you normally wouldnt find at Amazon. The membership is a deal.
Found what we wanted and the items were even on sale! Only thing is that when I went to ask about a book, the employee walked off and we couldnt find anyone else. The lady at the resister was super friendly. Not sure if well be back.
Nice place to stop and chill and read
Books are pricey. Clearance area doesnt have many fiction books.
Always a great place to go. The day we went there were practically no people in the store and the Starbucks inside was not even open. On the reading note, I would advise NOT buying magazines, the price is as much or more than a good book in some cases. But, you can subscribe for pennies on the dollar...go figure.
Stupid mask. But service was spot on.
Friendly staff and huge selection. Love barnes and nobles.
Friendly staff and very helpful staff
If they arent careful they will go the way of Hastings. The prices overall are to high. Especially the DVD/Blu-rays. When a set sells for $20 bucks at Walmart but they Charge $70 for the same thing it will eventually come back to bite them. I wont be disappointed.
Love it, I can always find the reference books I need.
Great store, they have covid-19 safety measures but it is a little smaller than the average Barnes And Nobles.
The associates were very friendly and helpful!
It was great. They have so many different things and they offer different books, albums, and songs for all types of fans.
Nice B&N, staff was super nice and helpful
Its a book store.Checking out was a drag. The cashier guy left me feeling depressed.
Hardly anyone in the store and staff were wearing masks
Great selection of books and magazines
Books A Million is better.
Found loads of great books in the Bargain area and other new editions of ones that I had been thinking about.
Found everything I was looking for and more, bigger Manga selection than I thought
Received prompt and courteous assistance to find my books and at the checkout counter. I will return again.
We love book stores and Barns and Noble is a book store. It had what we came to buy.
Beautifully laid out and clean store with very helpful staff.
I needed some more gel highlighters. To mark up my books...lol.. I asked one of the employees if he knew everything in the store and where it was at so he took me straight to highlighters and one of the ladies helped also as we figured out the best kind. They are greatMy books are very colorful. Wow!
Best Starbucks in town!
I have shopped Barnes and Noble Stores in various cities .I have never been disappointed.
Clean with great customer service!
Public restrooms are closed. Other than that it’s your run of the mill Barnes and Noble
Always a good visit
Horrible experience at Starbucks. Rude staff, I said hi and she ignored me stating what do you want to order. Then made the drink and pushed it toward me and stormed off to the back. I didnt have a straw and I waited but she didnt come back so I reached to get a straw behind the counter and she suddenly appeared and yelled at me dont reach behind the counter!! I reported this to the manager who told me that this never happens here, sad, very sad...may be COVID is making her too nervous AS A NURSE, I understand...but I am always kind to those that I am in contact with.
I love Barnes & Noble; the bookstore atmosphere, even during the pandemic, is friendly and relaxed. Great selection of books.
Any Barnes and Noble is a treat for me. Flagstaff was smaller than the one I used to go to back in Wisconsin. Not as comprehensive as other but still found what I wanted.Parking is not the best but overall the store is great.Childrens section looks good as kids are getting into reading again. The workers there are knowledgeable and helpful. Always a wonderful experience.
I had an issue with one of the books that I purchased there a week earlier and they were kind enough to replace it because it had a broken binding
Best physical book store in Flagstaff
Good work 👏 😊
Closed the bathrooms because Covid but still serving food. Less service more profit.
Love stopping in every now and then for a book
What a disappointment. No handicapped-accessible entrance. (A sign in the window says wave to get attention of a staff member, but then theyve placed a six-foot high barricade inside completely obscuring the door from sight. And, really, even without the barricade no one would see a customer in a wheelchair sitting only four feet from the floor.) No public restrooms. I could have browsed longer, buying more books, but my bladder wouldnt allow it. This will be my last visit until COVID-19 is past, and B&N is back to normal.
Had everything we needed, went above and beyond for our needs!
I neglected to get the name of the guy working tonight, but he was super helpful to us. Recommended some great games. Also went to the Starbucks there and the drinks were great too. Were just visiting Flagstaff, but would come back to this B&N if in town again
Large, well organized store w great staff who are both knowledgeable and helpful. Good sales tables. Even have good snack bar.
Friendly staff, good section.
Why does this store close at 6pm? Twice Ive tried to go to this store just as it was closing. It should at least be open until 8. It would get more business.
The smell of books will never be replaced with an electronic device. I hope the last be of books never does. Barnes & Noble is always an hour or so trip. The coffee and deserts mix with the smell of printed paper are wonderful. I appreciated the music section too.
Very customer friendly, were willing to ask if I needed help finding anything else
Found good stuff, games, kids science book for my grandsons, book on herbs for me!Fun place to spend an hour
I just looked around.
Nice people & great selection...
Starbucks drinks are the best in the city. 😎💯
We purchased Star Wars books and toys for Christmas 2019 for our son at Barns & Noble. The employees were friendly and helpful. They also have a decent coffee bar, but some of their seating is really warn out and rickety.
Fun with 4 kifs
I love this place. Its always has the coolest things. Different books and also I love the coffee shop. Although it can be pricey.
Love Barnes and Noble! Great prices!
Books were moved to different areas. Very confusing. Still not able to sit. 😒
Typical B&N. The staff was nice. They always have fun, quirky games and funky books to peruse. The local section has a lot of great Native American books, history for the surrounding area and wonderful local authors too. Always organized and clean.
Huge selection, very pleasant store to browse and hang out at. A little expensive. I did hit a 50% off vinyl records sale so I scored some good ones.
They always have a wonderful book selection for great prices. I love being able to pick out a book in person. Although I have bought hundreds of books on their online store. They always have the book I am looking for either online or instore.
