Great place! I love being able to exchange my own books and other stuff, usually when I come here we always have a bag of stuff to exchange. Most of the books sold here are good condition.(Not completely damaged) I also love how the employees can suggest books to you or say, “Good choice” and things like that.

Well kept and fun to look around. Tons of books and movies. Some instruments, some decorations, limited video games.

Fun store. A lot to look at and do. Cafe inside for coffee and small food etc. Tables for studying/reading and chess etc. Great place for students. Musical instruments sold here. Fun gifts sold here. Plenty of people here to help whether checking out, exchanging books or needing help. Weve only been in 1 time so far and cant wait to be back again.

I enjoy sitting at the Cafe drinking a black or latte coffee and either reading a book, studying, or surfing the free wifi. There is a punch ticket for every coffee you buy and the 10th coffee or latte is free. Every now and then I sell books, VHS, DVD, Blue-ray for in store trade credit to purchase indoor products. It has a laid back atmosphere.

Great place to pick up a random book to read. A lot of books that you normally wouldnt come across if you were go to place like Barnes and nobles. Also great place to get older gaming console chargers and controllers.

How can you live in Flagstaff and not be down with Bookmans? I’m old school—I miss that feeling of browsing a movie/entertainment store like the good old days of Blockbuster and Hastings, so it’s a pleasure to have Bookmans around to scratch that nostalgic itch. It’s also a huge bonus being able to trade in items and give that preloved book, trinket, game or movie a new home. This place is awesome, a local gem for sure.

Bookmans Flagstaff is one of my favorite places on earth. Its my happy place. Such a nostalgic feel from when our consumerism revolved around a tangible and tactile experience. Old books, used instruments, DVDs, and all sorts of fun to discover in a peaceful folky setting. Great cafe too.

As always Bookmans is top of the line. great staff,great inventory. Always worth the trip. I always go home with a book or a CD.

This is a liberal bookstore. You can tell by the choices they make in what they buy for resale to offer. This doesnt incl religious fiction...this was pretty good for current but no oldies and their Sci fi isnt deep..nobody buying is taking a chance on unheard authors. Then they let a petition signature gathering guy inside who didnt know what the internal issues were and kept directing people to a website for info was lame. The coffee section was outstanding good, music section was OK but little classical or dance mix, more standard fair. Id like to tell them to take a chance and stretch their offerings

Any used book store is good. A big used book store is VERY good. A big used book store that also sells video games, board games, movies, music, musical instruments and more is GREAT! Now, my initial plan was to rate four stars because Bookmans is not the bargain hunter paradise it once was. However, they earned 5 stars several years ago: a particularly heavy snow fall caused the roof to cave in and the store was closed for months. Store management kept all the employees on payroll and paid their salaries even while the store was closed.

Always a good experience at any location. They dont have as much inventory as say the Mesa putting Phoenix stores. But its a smaller town. Did find a something that I didnt expect to.

I love this store, the coffee is very good, games, movies, music, books, they have stuff for everyone.

They will not use their CD device to try to alleviate scratches from CDs once you have purchased them, even though you are a repeat customer. That is a serious lack of basic customer service and consideration. I spoke in person with Katy R., one of the managers, and she explained that they do not provide that service. I was hoping that supporting love of music was an unmistakable goal of Bookmans. I have purchased from them for the last time.

Love Bookmans in Flagstaff! Good, friendly service. Good book selection. Kids section is great. My 4 year old granddaughter didnt want to leave. The cafe is also terrific as well.

Sharayah in the Cafe was very nice and recommended a wonderful syrup combo for my latte. Joseph handled my trade in and made me laugh every time I spoke with him. Love the constantly changing selection at this store and the staff is always amazing!!!

Im shocked I havent used Bookmans earlier as its such a cool place to grab used entertainment. I typically go in for their older gaming systems, video games, and movies,, but my kid-cousins love going with me to trade in some books for new ones they havent read. I even had a lot of fun scrolling through old Arizona Highway magazines dating as far back to the 60s! Im hooked.

My favorite store in Flagstaff. Amazing selection, prices, and employees. You can buy board games, new and used books, vintage video games and systems, handcrafted items, and the cafe has fabulous drinks.

Cosy, pleasant atmosphere and a wide selection of books in great condition! I could hang out here for hours! The pricing is pretty good, and if you want some free books, they put tons of discards in the recycling bins out back, all in decent condition! Happy reading!

Wonderful store!We were visiting from out of state and enjoyed looking around. 😊If youre from the Midwest, expect things to be priced higher than we see at home.

In the past I visit just this location and it was great. This time it was just meh.I was in town visiting and stopped by, didnt really have anything I was looking for and seems like they had less inventory.

Very mean to customers and they love to rip people off,I went in with a 200$ guitar and they only offered me 20$ in store credit. After being told the face value of the item I had was pretty much trash I became very upset especially after having a professional price the guitar at hand for me!!!not to prod but I dont recommend anyone going Here if your needing to sell anything...lets just say its the type of place you go when you want to get degraded by employees ;)

Two out of two visitors in my party loved this store! We needed more to read in vacation, googled, stopped in for books. Left w books and a game. Would have spent so much more time here if not for being on the road. Loved the selection and organization. They had most books on my master list which impressed the heck out of me!

Im dropping my review to 1 star, I dont know what happened to the electronics department, but there isnt a single game or game console that cant be found for half the price somewhere else. GBA games are twice as expensive as eBay BUY IT NOW pricing.

Ive always loved Bookmans. Good place to find an inexpensive book or a board game or a movie. They also have musical instruments which is cool. I always send my books to Bookmans when Im done with them and I get Bookmans credit in return! Its great!

Reminds me of the old Hastings that used to be around. Nice place to go waste some time looking for books, music, games, board games, etc. Youll always find something to buy when you go in so watch out.

Bookmans is Valhalla for my family and I. They have books, comic books, records, movies, games, and so much more. If we could live inside this store, we would.Pro tip - there is a small, white revolving wire shelf on an end cap near the toys in the far back corner of the store; it has old fiction about monsters, aliens, mysteries, etc. Definitely worth checking out!

A new way to screw the consumer...Now some of their books sell for 90% of retail on back of book. Their B.S. answer is they look it up on computer and if market is higher they stick it to you. However they never look up any books I bring in for trade and usually give me 25% or less than retail on back of book. Just an insidious way to rip you off!

Ive been to bookmans in the past multiple times, it was a good experience, but lately its been a horrible experience. They have a good selection and staff have been nice in the past. I was in bookmans one time and my mask accidently slid down not even past my nose and not longer then a minute and worker came rushing to me and very rudely said to me and told me to put my mask back on. I understand that its their job, but how she treated me was unacceptable. Most of the staff are always very rude and unhelpful. From now on, Im going to be taking my business somewhere else

Bookmans has a very large selection of used paper backsof all genre. They are a bit expensive but that is necessary to maintain their selection.

Always good finds here! Nothing better than solid used goods! They have everything from kids books to adult books, games, puzzles, music equipment, random gifts and trinkets. I found some of my daughters favorites and all the better that they were previously loved!

This place is perfect. Ive been trading at Bookmans for at least 16 years and theyve never let me down. Its a great place to browse, to find gems for your bookshelf or your turntable, and to trade in media you no longer want. The staff are always so friendly and helpful. This is one of my favorite places to shop in Flagstaff.

While browsing, an employee rudely demanded I was wearing my mask incorrectly. Not only is she rude, but had no idea what my position is medically. This store has lost my business and might reconsider their place.

As a vinyl collector, this place is heaven! I’ve gone three times, and each time, found an excellent condition vinyl I wanted for my collection. These people clearly know how to take care of every item they sell, from books, to vinyl, to instruments. On top of this, the prices are reasonable, and there is always a great variety of products. Would highly recommend.

What an amazing place! Used books, music, board games, etc... Found a board game that I had been looking for.

The collection at this location is strange. Ive yet to find something to buy except for an old game boy. They have a TON of books too, which is why its surprising to not find anything I want.They also dont have much for comic book fans or people looking for collectors figures or anything like that, unlike other bookmans locations.

Actually went next door to Joanns sorry. Bookmans was our hangout pre pandemic. Books are wonderful

This is a large store with a large selection. At first I was impressed but the surly, bossy staff knocked it down a few stars. They were giving me orders which I dont appreciate as a customer. The prices are also very high.Not recommended since the obnoxious staff ruins the shopping experience.

I came for D&D dice and I was not disappointed. They have all types of games, music, books, and movies. Theres a little cafe too. I absolutely love it there.

Lived in flagstaff my whole life and always had good experiences here, until recently I don’t know what happened but staff keeps getting more and more rude & impolite. Very unhelpful employees who act like they don’t care about anything. Extremely disappointed and won’t be going back or recommending any time soon.
