I needed a tux for my daughters wedding in Chicago.So it needed to be right.We did all the measurements and the tux came in but didn’t exactly fit right but not uncommon..Kylie got on the phone made the corrections and the next day the new tux was there fit perfectly and made me look like great.These women really do a great job.Very much appreciated.So guys if you need a tux rental please check out Be Social .Thank you Kylie and Jen !
Wonderful experience. The store was very busy yesterday with girls shopping for Homecoming. The sales team couldn’t have been better at helping all of the girls trying on dresses and the boys there to rent suits/tuxes for HOCO. Kylee helped my son and I with his suit rental and although she was busy, she took her time and made suggestions. She was patient with him not really knowing what he wanted. She made the entire process so easy. Two other women (Brady and unfortunately not sure of the other woman’s name, but she was terrific!) helped my daughter with her first HOCO dress and made her 1st experience buying a fancy dress an exciting time. They helped her with the proper way to tie the back of the dress, helped her with shoes and accessories. It was closing time and the boutique was still busy with teens finding the perfect dress. These women were so helpful and patient with all of the teens and the parents. Overall a wonderful experience and selection. Love supporting local!
My daughter was there today looking for homecoming dress. She has a unique body shape. Thin rib cage, large breasts, larger hips. Im not sure she has totally come to grasps with her voluptuous shape. However, when dealing with teenagers, different figures, and something so emotional as a HoCo dress, tact is needed. My daughter left there and started crying not bc the dresses didnt fit, but bc of how the salesperson made her feel bc the dresses didnt fit. Not ok.

I have purchased all of my daughter’s homecoming, prom, and pageant dresses here. We have loved each experience we have had and highly recommend this place. I absolutely love that everything head to toe can be purchased in the same place with the most up to date fashion trends. My daughter is also a dancer and she has been to events in New York City for Dr. Oz Health Corp Gala multiple years where she has worn her gowns from here with celebrities in the room. These are red carpet events. While dancing at the after parties she has received multiple compliments on them and even asked where she purchased them. So if you want high end fashion for reasonable price...this is the place! The only buyers remorse that we have here is that we don’t buy more when we are there because the selection is so good and hard to choose which one.
I have purchased several pageant dresses over the years from be social! They never disappoint when it comes to service and stock. The owner goes above and beyond for you and will make sure you find what you are looking for, I left once without anything because I was still searching for the right dresses.. the owner had reached out and told me a new dress came In! I immediately went down to the store and it was everything I was looking For! Thank you be social!
AMAZING!!!!! DEFINITELY going back for any occasion i need! They were so helpful no matter if i tried on my 1st dress or my 45th dress! (I promise i didn’t try on that many) they would give honest and helpful opinions or offer a belt or different earrings to help me get the full effect! Staff was exceptional!! Super sweet, not at all pushy to buy, they genuinely made sure i was happy and felt comfortable in the dress i wanted to buy! Reasonable prices, variety of price points for all budgets, variety of sizes (i was very impressed), variety of styles and colors too!! 10/10 would shout again and again!! Buyer beware!They do not do returns or exchanges, even if it’s less than 24 hours after purchase. They do not have it posted anywhere which is against Ohio’s state law as well. I will be taking legal action against them.I came in looking for a Vegas Wedding Dress, and found one I fell in love with! The lady who helped was very nice but be prepared for and expensive up charge. She was good at her job for sure. Except She did not go over the return policy.And when I came home my fiancé was not impressed with my over atop gown so now I’m 600 dollars down on a dress.

*DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE!*I purchased my daughters homecoming dress from here yesterday. A lady named by the name of Chelsea helped us. Chelsea was quick to bring my daughter shoes and jewelry to try on while she was in the dressing room. We told Chelsea we wanted the dress, the earrings, and then we were also talked into buying a bra. WE DID NOT WANT THE SHOES OR BRACELETS. After our very expensive purchase, we get home to find the shoes and a bracelet in our bag! I looked at the receipt, and sure enough we were charged for them. I called today to make sure I could return them, only to be informed that they have a no return policy. I would agree to that on the items that I did want to buy. But I did NOT agree to buy the shoes and bracelet! I feel as though they snuck those items into my purchase. I am VERY upset. Please be careful if you do choose to shop here!!!

The workers were very stuck up and rude. Even when I told them what I was interested in, they continued to try and shove the most expensive dresses that I had no interest in down my throat. I would not suggest this place, they make you feel judged and clearly only care about their commission cut.
This place is the worse!!! If anyone is having issuses, called the BBB and file a complaint with the Ohio Attoney General which i plan on doing today.Timeline:We purchased a dress on March 9th prior to Covid-19 pandemic. The dress was for my daughters promo and cost a little over $700 .The associate in the store said we would receive a call within days to pick up the dress because the dress needed to be serviced due to broken strap, this was untrue because we have not received any form of communication at all that week or weeks following. I called asnd asked for an update on March 10th, twice on March 12th, March 19th, March 23rd, 27th, 9 times on 28th April 6th and 10th.Initially, we just wanted the dress but now we are asking for our money to be returned. Ive called several times, spoke to someone who said they would have a manger call me back but never did. We did not receive a call in over a month which was from your daughter yesterday on April 7th. My daughter saw a post on Instragram indicating that the store would be open on Saturdays during a certain time frame. We arrived at the store on a Sat at 11am, however; there was a sign on the door stating they were closed and not open, however; the Instagram account stated something completely different. At this point, we are beyond frustrated by this company for their lack of courteous and lack of accurate communicate.This company has not been very respectful during this time. Even though we are all going thru this the best we can, you are still expected to hold up some sort of values and professionalism as you are a business that wants to keep up your reputation. We know a lot of people and have a lot of Instagram followers, I do not want to talk down or negative about Be Social but if I’m going to be ignored and not treated as a value coaster, then I should be able to share our truth and our experience with you all. I was told that someone would call me back, they continue to mislead us to believe they are willing to resolve this matter but they continue to not honor their word. I am going to post my experience with the hopes of them not treating people this way in the future!!
I am giving this store a 1 star rating and heres why:The 1 star is for the overall experience while I was at the store with my daughter who is a freshman and shopping for her 1st homecoming dress. The staff was friendly, they had lots of dresses to choose from and loved the hands on help with the dresses. Easy process.The other empty 4 stars are for what happened AFTER I bought the dress and these are things anyone needs to keep in mind when choosing to buy a dress from this store. Reasons why I will never be returning for a dress here again....1. I didnt realize that when you buy a dress from this store, you are buying the dress off the floor - they are not sending you a brand new dress. The dress I bought was a $400 dress and was probably tried on I dont know how many times before we came along. Some of the other dresses looked to be in very used condition. Our dress has beading, so they kept the dress over 2 weeks to fix some of the beading.2. When I came to pick up the dress they had me look over the beading - that is why they kept it. It looked okay for doing just one glance over. They will have you sign off on the dress before you leave with it. I get that, in case someone tries to leave and wear it and something happens to it. They would not be responsible.HOWEVER - We left with the dress and it didnt come out of the wrapping until we got to alterations, 2 days later. It was at THAT time (before I left it with alterations) the alterations lady noticed 2 flaws in the dress because she was looking closely at the fabric while measuring to alter the bottom part of the dress. There was a FOOD STAIN and the bottom of the zipper on the back of the dress was UN-RAVELING (this was going to cost an EXTRA $15 to fix). I left the dress at the alterations so they could start working on the dress and she had already put all the pins in the fabric. So no use trying to take the dress back now - but probably couldnt get a new dress at this point anyways.3. Customer service is horse sh&t! - I called the very next day and expressed my disappointment in the quality of the zipper lining coming undone ALREADY and the food stain which WAS NOT from me (hence you are again, buying a dress basically in used condition and if you do not catch every single little thing on the dress, BE SOCIAL WILL DO NOTHING ABOUT IT.) I couldnt pull it out of alterations because it was already started on, but BE SOCIAL was only going to try to fix the zipper if I drove the dress all the way to Gahanna for them to see it even though I did take pictures of it to send if need be, the day before my daughters dance. Totally inconvenient and no promises it was even going to get fixed!!!Im sorry but this is totally unacceptable, I take responsibility for not taking a magnifying glass and looking over the entire dress one inch at a time. Shame on me for assuming I was getting a dress that was new, with no flaws, however, how did BE SOCIAL not see these flaws either?Heck they had it for over 2 weeks after I bought it to look it over as well. How could they not see the zipper lining needed to be fixed? How did they not see the food stain right on the front in the folds of the dress? All I asked was that they pay for the $15 I have to pay out of pocket to fix the zipper, forget about the food stain, and I would be happy. But NO ONE EVER CALLED ME BACK. Its absolutely ridiculous that I have to spend even more money on this already VERY expensive dress!!!I will never pay full price ever again for a dress that is off the floor and not ordered brand new and I will be buying from a different/larger company.
The staff is rude, condescending and dishonest. We found a dress but the dress has a stain on it. After they implied that we damaged the dress (we did not) they said that if we wanted the dress, we would have to buy it and then they would see if the stain would come out. I told them we are not going to buy a damaged dress and hope it’s fixable but if they fixed the dress we would buy it. The sales girl then sent an older, surly lady (may be the owner) to speak with us. She was rude and said if we didn’t want the dress because of the stain, someone else would buy it. Finally after a very uncomfortable back and forth they agree to send the dress to be cleaned.We went back to look at the dress after it had been cleaned and the spot was not very noticeable so we decided to buy the dresss. While ringing up the sale the salesperson went to the back twice and spoke with the manager. I was surprised at the total and the salesperson said it was higher due to the tax. That didn’t sound right and when they handed the receipt to me I saw what happened. They had added $30 to the price of the dress, presumable to cover the cleaning!!! This was dishonest and is a good example of the outright contempt they have for customers. Adding $30 without saying a word about it to the customer to clean a dress they had damaged is criminal. I didn’t want to make a scene in front of my daughter so I left the store.I would strongly recommend avoiding this store at all cost. They are rude, dishonest and I can’t believe the will be in business much longer with this approach. Any dress in the store can also be bought online. If you have to go to the store you can simply try on a dress for size and then order it online from another company with good customer service.

Felt incredibly unprofessional. Im apart of a wedding party and the groomsmen were asked to come here to get measurements for our suits. When I arrived and told them why I was there, they had to find someone who felt comfortable getting measurements for me because Im a man. For a business that also has tuxedo rental options, one would assume that all employees ought to feel comfortable taking measurements for any of their clientele no matter who they are. Then, when checking out, the girl behind the counter made a joke about how she hopes that we (my wife and I) would still be friends after my wife handed her our family credit card for the purchase. Im assuming that because it was a purchase for me and our family card that we used came from my wife instead of me, she felt that her joke would be amusing. It was off putting and once again, felt very unprofessional. Not something Id expect from a Ohios best high fashion dress and formal wear store.

Just left the boutique a few hours ago and i absolutely loved it, my prom is less than a month away and i was afraid i wouldn’t find a dress but i went in and the first dress i saw was the one i ended up getting, a real beautiful baby blue dress. the employees there were so amazing and polite, truly an amazing experience and i’m so happy i went there

So instead I changed my 1 star to 3 stars.Original Review:I really dont like doing this, in fact this is the first time Ive ever done it.. BUT- If you are ever renting a suit here, 10/10 do not. If youre buying a dress, its probably a better choice; however dont count on their customer service to be that great.I came to this shop upon my friends request to rent a tux for his wedding. I came in not once, but twice to get fitted. Not only did they lose my measurements, they didnt really know what suit I was trying to get. An older woman who works there told me that they had a huge turnover recently and thats why things are so off.Anyways, I came to pick up my tux this week and the shirt measurement was way off, it felt like a parachute and the jacket was long. Thank God for their worker Mya, she handled it with excellence; she gets 5 stars; but I had to come back AGAIN for a fourth time... So I came in and tried everything on, it all fit great. However, there was one thing missing- the pocket square.. They said, You can pick it up tomorrow after we order it today. Ummm... What?To top this off, they were trying to say I had to return this tux the day after the wedding Im wearing it on after they said I have up to two days to return it. This rental was over $200 and for what youre getting combined with the service, its really just not worth it. I thought MAYBE theyd compensate me, but there was barely a sorry. (Except from Mya, she was great).
