I dropped my clothing off and he advised it would take 2 weeks. I come back to pick up my items and he advised they wasn’t able to do the work. I asked why didn’t he call and he said he was going to call that day….. the pick up day. He isn’t professional at all. I would’ve picked my item up and took it somewhere instead I waited 2 weeks for nothing.

I was not satisfied with the service. He messed up my pants that I bought from Macys. The alteration was not good the way I want. I couldnt recognize the design of my pants. I will never go back to this place.

The facility was small, with 2 private changing rooms. The turn around seemed quick, however with my timeline it wasnt necessary. The owner was limiting the number of customers in the store at 1 time. There wasnt a private area for the alterations to be marked.

I dropped off my husband’s pants due to the zipper being broke. We had a wedding to attend and I needed the pants fixed ASAP! He was able to get them a day earlier than he stated! Great service! Would definitely recommend.

Recommend. One hundred thousand times recommend. I came in two weeks before my wedding (groom) to get some alterations done on my tux thinking I just needed some minor adjustments. Well firstly, I was greeted by an EXTREMELY friendly and helpful gentlemen who helped me right away. I was shown what alterations could be made and they also told me what wasnt necessary and what they recommended.

Amazing guy! He tailored my Express tux for my wedding. He asked how I wanted to look and I said very European with a fitted tux. He took my $165 tux and turned it into a masterpiece. He said, If you want to look like a million bucks I can do that for you. He also tailored my shirt as well with the same tapper as my tux jacket. All I can say is amazing work and would recommend him to everyone. Even if you have to drive two hours I would do it in a heart beat. He is a man of his words and will not disappoint.

Purchased a suit and it came out perfectly the first time. I told him what I was looking for, and he picked out a stunningly beautiful suit for me on the first try.The owner / master tailor at this location has spent his entire life dedicated to the craft and it shows. He does all of the alterations himself, and from what I could tell is quite busy.

Whatever he says he’s going to do, that’s what he’s going to do, right on time and you’ll be happy. He’s a pro, and exactly what you’d want in a tailor. I had some pretty big alterations to be made on my suit for a friends wedding and he immediately knew what the suit needed. He took maybe 30 seconds to mark up what needed to be altered and was done. Went to pick the suit up today and it was perfect. He added almost two inches to the waist and removed excess material from the back of the jacket. The price was a bit much, but then again, I can safely say it’s the best fitting suit I own out of 5 suits that have been altered elsewhere.

C. Stefano does amazing, quick, professional quality work. I recently had a pair of pants hemmed/shortened for a business suit and needed the pants back within 48 hours for an interview... He was able to make that quick turnaround without a problem.My husband had his suit taken in after losing a lot of weight.... the suit was so professionally refitted that it hadnt even look like it had alterations done to it.I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone, from simple hemming to major alterations.

Mr. Stefano knows tailoring! He took in a jumpsuit that was too long and had a long inseam... needed it by Saturday he had it ready Friday by noon with no additional adjustments.

Chris Stefano is a real, old-school tailor. Anyone can make alterations if they know how to sew well enough, the true skill and talent lies in Chris ability to look at a garment on you and know exactly what alterations need to be made, aka how to properly fit a person. He will quickly make his chalk marks and you need to just trust him. When you return to pick up your garments and try them on, prepare to be amazed. He is truly a world class tailor and easily the best in all of Ohio, probably the best in the country outside of New York City. Yes, he may be more expensive than taking your clothes to the dry cleaners for alterations, but if you care about fit then the price wont matter. He made a cheap $200 suit look like a $1,200 suit and a $600 suit look like a $5,000 fully custom piece. His skills are truly beyond comparison. Since moving away from Columbus, I still make the hour and a half trip just for his tailoring services and I dont know what Ill do when he retires. Quit looking at other tailors in Columbus and just go to C. Stefano, you can thank me later.

I dont know how good he is yet because I have yet to come to the store when its open. I live 30 min away, trying to support local business, but twice Ive driven all the way here and they were closed. The hours online are not the hours he is keeping anymore, theres a paper taped to the door with new hours. If I were you Id call and find out what hours the shop is keeping before you go, Google is apparently not current.

This lovely man knows style and he know tailoring! My husband has had suits custom made in Italy we know the value of beautiful clothing. The work he does is impecible. He is knowledgeable in current style trends and will tailor your suits to make you look your best. Stop going to the cleaners for alterations. A well tailored suit is life changing.

Talk about expensive!!! 2 layer hem, cut, turn and stitch and 2 should straps taken up that didn’t need tapering, just stitched shorter $170. Double a bridal salon!!!

The quality of the work reflects on the prices he offers. I would recommend but he is not cheap. That being said, its well worth it.

Stefanos is the go to tailor. I live in California and travel around the country extensively. Having said that every trip I make to Columbus includes all my tailoring. He is the expert and has repaired many of the botched tailoring work I have had in the past. Old world tailoring of this quality doesnt exist in many places today. I am so adamant about his work that when I purchase clothes I wait until my business takes me to Columbus to get my tailoring. He also recommended a great restaurant just outside his establishment, Cap City Diner. Fantastic!Dont go anywhere else, or you will regret the decision.

I wish I still lived in Columbus. By far the best tailor Ive used over the years. This guy is good. Very quick look and measurements on my pants and they came out perfect. Very pleased with the work.

Took s suit to him to be fitted. We shortened the sleeves and hemmed the pants. Was charged $250. Took a pair of pants to be tapered and sew a hole. Was charged $85. Prices are very very high if you ask me as I have taken garments back home to be tailored for 1/4 the cost. Also, very unprofessional as he decided to change his store hours from M-Th to 10-6. I showed up at 6:07 as website and his door says he is open until 7. Very frustrating experiences but I must say, he does do one of the better jobs I have seen.

I have short arms so I have to have all my jackets tailored. I take everything here. He has done everything from jeans, to jackets to my wedding dress. I wont tell you he is the least expensive option youll see, but he is the best.

Had a button pop off of my blazer while at work. I called C. Stefano Alterations, and they allowed me to walk right in and have the work done on my lunch break. Great service for a great cost.

I get it that you may be busy, I even get it if you have done alterations for some of Columbuss Elite people. But one thing I dont like in a tailor is someone who tries to take advantage of a situation. I came to him needing a simple alteration regarding some pants that I had previously hemmed and tapered. I just needed it tapered some more along the thigh to knee area, he wanted to charge me $60 just to do that in addition to a rush order. I dont have a problem paying extra for a rush order, I was already going to leave him a sizable tip if he could get it done for me the next day, but to charge me $60 just for a continued taper is ridiculous! That would have cost more than the pant itself plus the tailoring I already had done. I dont care who you are you are not worth $60 for simple $12 service! That is the sole reason Im leaving this review, because I do not feel it is right for tailors to take advantage of any person in any situation.
