I was quite impressed with this store. From the cleanliness down to how well the shelves were stocked. The meat looked much fresher than other Sav-a-lot stores Ive been to (and Ive been to plenty all up and down the east coast!!) They also have reasonable pricing for their meat packages and the produce was much fresher than I expected. My only reason for 4 stars is because there were no working bathrooms. Both customer bathrooms were out of order which made my shopping experience rather uncomfortable. Other than that, it is on the top of my list for sav-a-lot stores that Ive been to!! Good job Greenville NC

Its not the store it use to be. When you walk in all you smell is spoiled food. Eggplants are brown. What is going on. Never shopping their again.

After asking for management I was told several times by two different people. I needed a receipt to exchange items that only they sell. You dont need one at any other store. I retrieved it from the outside garbage can. They ultimately put the items that were not kept refrigerated back in the cooler. Didnt ask how long it was out of fridge or anything. I am no longer a customer.

The cashier black male always and I mean always has a smile on his face his kindness is rare and contagious, he goes above and beyond for customer needs and satisfaction, definitely need more people lile him. I love save a lot because well I can save a lot on a budget and able to feed my family comfortably. the manager Im assuming she is black female isnt so polite as the others and has attitude. everyone else is okay

Small store, friendly staff. Everyone seemed to be in good spirits. Produce looked bad, but meat mostly looked good and had fair prices. Grocery is mostly generic with prices around Walmarts, so there are good values to be found if the quality is acceptable, which I cant attest to.

The meat s is bad and stinks in there they need spray lysol in there they need f because all so the vegetables is rotten and it is hot in there no ac in there the one in Greenville I think need clean up real good in that store it smells terrible need to up your store

Two different time I went in the store the day after their weekly sales were published and found they had nothing in the meat dept. I recently purchased 8 ribeye steaks, they were advertised at 5.99 per pound, I paid 7.99. I asked 2 people in the store why and no one could provide an answer. Dont waste your time on this place.

I will never return to there. For the second time in two weeks I was followed around the store like a criminal. I am unsure if it was the owner or not but he was a young foreign guy. He actually stood around and watched me on each aisle that I was on. The location is in a lower income part of town. I am a small cleaning business owner and I see why its located there. Its to prey on the less fortunate. Each person of color is seen as a criminal. I am going to personally spread the word to as many people as possible and pray that they spend their money somewhere else.

I visited this store for what I thought would be a quick run in and pick up a few items for dinner and go but was quickly halted because the establishment doesn’t accept AMEX(what is the problem) so I had to leave and go get another card. I explained that I would return and be back as soon as possible. It took me 15 mins to return and they had put all my groceries back..smh

A bit disappointed. Purchased whole chicken today and when I got home discovered it had a sell by date of March 22nd. Today is March 30th. Called store though and they are going to refund my money. Ill go back to get my refund, however unsure Ill be shopping there again.

I purchased ground beef from Save A Lot in Greenville on Sunday the 11th. I put it in the freezer and then thawed it out on Friday the 16th. It had a strong vinegar smell so I called the store. I was transferred 4 times to get to the meat manager or butcher that I wanted to speak to. Everyone I spoke with was unprofessional...answered the phone like they were at home instead of saying hello & introducing themselves with name and title so youd know who you were speaking with.Finally I get the butcher who could barley speak English. A lady got on the phone and had to translate my entire conversation. That was in itself infuriating because why are you working in a business where you have to deal with customers but you cant speak the language to talk to them!!And to make it worse he had no idea why the meat could or would smell like vinegar. So that didnt help me all.I spoke again to the manager who also had no idea what was wrong with the meat. I explained my frustration regarding the smell but also the un-professionalism of the people I spoke with including him and the frustration of dealing with someone who has to have an interpreter to talk with the customers. He spoke only to the meat issue and what I needed him to do to make it right stating I could bring it back in. My response was if I bought it back I would only want my money back. Theres nothing else he could do for me.My first day of shopping with them should have been a sign. The Sunday that I bought the meat I had to call the manager and complain because one of the cashiers was on her cell phone the entire time she was ringing up a customers groceries. Soooo unprofessional!These two experiences are enough for me. I will not shop at this store again!
