It was a great pleasure working with Jon Maxwell and Cedar Lawn and Landscaping. We hired Jon to completely re-do our very large yard, and he listened carefully to what we envisioned for our property. He proved himself to be very practical and knowledgeable in all areas of landscaping. He cleared old trees, stumps, and overgrowth in the yard itself, as well as around the yard and driveway to make a nice backdrop for the new landscape. He ensured that our choices for grass, plants, trees, and shrubs would succeed long term, going to considerable effort to obtain those requested, and he saved heritage shrubs and perennials for replanting and existing trees in front of the house as we requested. He reset our drainage piping. Jon advised us to use dark brown stained mulch, which really set off the plants and beds and looks fantastic, and he suggested adding it under our screened porch to cover bare dirt, which made a big difference and provided visual continuity. Jon was extremely dependable; he always did what he said he was going to do, and he did all of the work in a timely manner. He and his crew were hardworking, and very polite and pleasant to work with. Overall, working with Jon was a great experience. He brought our vision to fruition and made it even better. We feel fortunate to have engaged Cedar Lawn and Landscaping, and we heartily recommend them to everyone.Services provided: Totally replaced lawn with sod; totally redid existing flower beds; saved existing trees and plants as requested; stump and tree removal; brush clearing; mulching; good solid advice.

We have had a great experience with Cedar Lawn & Landscaping. Jon recently replaced our entire lawn with sod and created a beautiful rock border for us. He also provides weekly maintenance and is responsive and professional.

Jon has been caring for my property for 2 years and does an excellent job. Besides mowing and trimming, he also takes care of weeds in the beds and prunes the shrubs and small trees. He also did a great job with a sod installation and plantings – all for a very good price. The property has never looked better. I highly recommend him.
