Dale & Gene were so knowledgeable, and really willing to help me figure out what the best game plan was for my needs. When I inspected my car I saw areas that needed to be corrected. Gene who gave me my estimate took it upon himself to make sure my car was the closest to perfection. In the end I was totally SATISFIED. My car looks like I just bought it from the BMW dealership!!!

Overall a decent job. Emblems are not in the correct spots, but close. Truck does have 4 runs in the paint that I did not see when I picked the truck up because it was pretty dusty from sitting by the road. I was told it would not have any runs in the paint when I got the estimate.

I recently took my 1997 Civic in for a fresh new paint job, I originally planned on painting myself so I had stripped the paint and realized I would let the professionals take care of it. The staff at Maaco located in Hampton, VA worked out a very fair price with me especially with the less-than-professional work I had done myself beforehand. I dropped the car off late Friday afternoon and they had it done by Tuesday the NEXT week. Not only was it done in no time, but it looks amazing with a new 2019 Toyota color! I was scheduled to have two vehicles painted went to drop off vehicle #1 and the guy who had initially helped me was on the phone. He said hi and basically stayed on the phone for the next 15-20 minutes while I stood there waiting. There was another guy there but he was not the one I had been dealing with so he just sat there. I got tired of waiting so I left. I can spend my cash elsewhere there are others paint and body shops in the area. This was terrible customer service the worst I have seen or experienced in a very long time. I guess Macco don’t need the cash business especially from me a Black man as I am sure no White man would have been treated this way.

Car looked pretty good except for some overspray on certain parts and it looked like they painted right over the rock chips. They acted like it was acceptable.

They were very professional. I had used them about a year prior because of a dent and scratch. The estimate was good and the work was above par. They said it would take five days and it took four. Very satisfied, great atmosphere in the front office.

On June 14, 2018, I drove up to the Hampton MAACO after reading tons of great reviews. I spoke with estimator Tyler Allen. I told him I wanted all the damage, dings, and dents removed in addition to having it repainted to look good as new from the factory. He walked around the vehicle with a check list, wrote notes, and we proceeded to the front desk afterwards. He explained all the paint options and different estimates for the level of work for my budget. He recommended urethane with integrated clear coat in addition to universal sealer. I walked away with four different quotes and thanked him for his time.On February 5th, 2019, I drove up to the Hampton MAACO after I had saved enough funds to proceed with the costs. I was greeted my the manager Mr. Gene Mingee. I showed up the most expensive estimate that Tyler Allen provided to me and asked him if they would still honor the estimate. He said Mr. Allen no longer works there but they would honor the estimate. We discussed the options and I agreed to proceed with the body work and paint. Mr. Gene said it would be about a three week turnaround. He provided updates as it was rainy season still. When I received the vehicle, on February 19, 2019 I was astounded. I could not believe that was my vehicle. It looked brand new. However things were not entirely perfect. There was some overspray on locations where I did not want them. There was overspray inside the door jambs rubber seals, on my tire treads, and on my exhaust pipe. Aside from those complaints, I am pleased with the results. I walked out the door paying $3613.61. I feel they were worth the costs with labor and material.

There is no other place to go for better customer and workmanship service. This place and people are No.1. It is a great feeling to go to a business and get great service for your money. They know what they are doing and professional doing it.

Im taking my 5 star review back from last year and giving a 1 star. 13 months later I noticed my paint started lifting and literally flying off my roof. It literallypeels off if you pick at it. I got the one year warranty unfortunately. Now they wont fix it and a real body shop is quoting me 5 grand to strip down the entire car. It looked great when I picked it up, but slowly the paint started failing. Active Duty Dad here... sadly you get what you pay for

After having my Volvo S60 paint corrected and ceramic coated and feeling extremely satisfied with the impressive quality at Dale Blankenships MAACO, I took my MINI Cooper S for replacrment body part installation, molded in wider fenders, molded in heat extractors for the hood, and a full repaint and ceramic coating. I cannot find the words for how happy I am with the result....a true transformation!! Highly recommended 100%! My only regret is that I cannot upload a before and after picture to this review!

I am very pleased with the paint job. The sheen is brilliant and glossy like new! They even tied up a loose part under the bumper as I asked. Gene gave me a professional breakdown of the costs involved and gave me a few options to choose from. Then after the work he repeated the warranty info and gave me tips on how to keep it shiny. Took a 2012 Equinox here to get painted. No body damage just wanted a color change for my wife. The car looks amazing!! Literally like a brand new car. This franchise quoted me a reasonable price to paint, replace headlight lenses, and replace the pin striping. The outcome was more than I expected. I was in a car accident July 1st. The staff was very informative as to the extent of the repairs, what to expect with insurance, and recommended other quotes. They were very fair and reasonable in costs. I am appreciative of the warranties offered and thoroughness. My car looks brand new for 12 years old to the extent I have received compliments and some didnt recognize my car. I appreciate the patience and understanding of the staff as I dealt with insurance and being forthcoming in addressing my concerns.

Paint is only a week old so I can’t comment on the durability but, so far everything looks great. I had mixed feelings when I dropped it off due to the bad reputation of some of the other Maaco’s. They do not remove items so I did remove almost ECU that I could to get the best paint job possible. Overall great customer service and a good experience.

I brought my older “multi-color” Honda into Maaco to receive a full paint job. I was thoroughly impressed with the quality and durability of the paint. I had little expectation to receive such a good job. I paid a little extra to had additional prep work done to my vehicle; as a result, my body work was completely invisible. I would recommend Maaco for value work. Conversely, I took my late model Acura to a “high end” local body shop with deep regrets.
