There was a mix up with the truck that I had reserved online and the manger did an amazing job rectifying the situation. They made sure I was taken care of by setting me up with another truck and even gave me a ride to where it was. Great customer service!

One way rental w/ Free month of storage isn’t worth the headache this place caused after attempting to drop off my trailer into my unit. 75+ minutes later, I wasn’t able to get into my unit because I didn’t have an alternate contact number and wasn’t willing to make one up. The kid up front kept walking behind the guy who was trying to be helpful and saying don’t rent to him unless he gives you dat number. I explained I just got to town and didn’t have one to give them yet, but need to unload my trailer so I can get a hotel and something to eat. Game on. I called the Gen Manager who said if you’ve been renting for 15 years you’d know we need that number, so we don’t have a unit to rent to you then... a call to the main line revealed that this alt contact is a new thing they started doing within the last few months. In all of my 15+ years of doing business with U-Haul, this is ridiculous. I’m expected to make up a number or “can’t you put your mom on there?!?” Really.. I’ve been on my own since I was 17 for a reason. So I have to drive all of my belongings around in a trailer that has safely made it to it’s destination around a town filled with potholes. I told them I was becoming angry about driving this far and not being able to unload my trailer because I didn’t have an alternate number to give them yet. After calling the general manager and main line, some back and forth - they said they wouldn’t rent me the unit because of what was said, and they falsely alleged that I threatened them - and the only threat that was made was to contact the manager to get this situation resolved. Which it ABSOLUTELY WAS NOT. I’ve had to leave with my goods in tow in search of another drop off and storage location. Which will not be U-Haul. Ever.

They got me in same-day last minute on a Saturday to wire my car properly in preparation for towing a trailer. The manager and staff were all very nice and accommodating.

These people are the best. Dedicated to customer service. Literally going the extra mile to make sure my needs were met. My family will use no one else in the St.Louis area. I highly recommend TJ and his crew! Thank you for saving the day!

The worst service ever. It took two guys 2 and a half hours to put on a tow hitch. If we were not sitting there watching they wouldn’t have even started it. The guys were just dumb and had no clue what they were doing. It was ridiculous.

I made a reservation for a pickup truck. I go to pick up the truck that evening but their pickup truck had a 4 pin trailer hookup & my trailer required a 7 pin. A couple employees really did try their best. Lack of proper training isnt their fault. They kept bringing out different adapters, but they didnt seem knowledgeable with what I was asking/needing. The store was closing soon (honestly, they were just done with me & wanted me to leave) so they told me to come back in the morning, that the manager would be in at 7am and hed have the correct adapter. So I take the pickup truck home. (BIG MISTAKE)I get there right at 7am to be told the manager isnt coming in until 10am. Ummm what!? I needed the pickup truck to pull my personal trailer at 8am. The employee tried his best to help, Ill give him that. The manager just HAPPENED to show up at 7:30am, to tell me they didnt have the adapter I needed. I had to cancel my ENTIRE days income. As a small business owner this was HUGE. And not only mention a huge inconvenience to my clients. Since I had made preparations the night before, I had put my personal equipment in the truck bed, so I had to drive it BACK home to empty it. (more miles=$$$)Upon returning to return the truck to Uhaul, the older employee was apparently talking to me from all the way across the store but dude... Im behind a 6 foot divider, I didnt even see you come back in the store and talking in a regular volume voice from across the store sure doesnt help. He made a sexist joke saying, just like a women... never listens to anything I say. Then proceeded to tell me I owe $60. I asked for the manager. They said he was going to be busy for a while. (Since my day was wide open now that I had to cancel an entire days work, I had plenty of time now to sit and wait.) A couple minutes later, lo and behold the manager walks in.The manager kept mumbling/whispering to me (I guess so the other customers in line didnt hear?!) but at that point I was so done with the whole thing that I just nodded. He gave me $20 off but I shouldnt have had to pay for anything.I specifically picked up the pickup truck the night before I needed it to try to avoid this very situation. Had I known the truck wasnt going to work, I wouldve had the rest of the evening to find another solution AND NOT BE CHARGED TO RENT A PICKUP TRUCK I COULDNT EVEN USE.

We have had a reservation for two weeks! We double checked three times that they would have the truck and two car dollies. We asked the day before we were to pick up the truck and was reassured that it was there and ready. We go in and pick up the truck and guess what? They don’t have the truck. We were told it is a first come first serve!!!! So why did we pay extra for the reservation??? I flew two people in to help us move. I had others here to help us pack. I will make everyone I know not to choose uhaul ever!!!!!! I want my money back!!!! Now we have to wait hours to see if they can find a truck!!! I need to be out of my place tomorrow! The people helping us are on limited time!!!! Now I will be driving in the dark!!!! Never never use this color pay extra!!!!! Terrible customer services

I have always gone to another uhaul just because they were closer to me, I decided to go to this one in Hazelwood and I’m so glad I did! This store as nice and the Manager TJ was great! I was very pleased with his customer service and willingness to take care of my hitch install. I will make this my store in the future as well!

Lied to me about being reimbursed on the gas I brought the truck back with. I am even a repeat customer spending more than a thousand dollars every time I used uhaul.

On-site manager, Bryan/Byrum/Byran was very rude and wouldnt answer any questions. The manager stated he was too busy to answer my questions and had to take other phone calls. He continued to state that he had to discontinue the phone call to answer other phone calls while I was proceeding the questions, then he disconnected the phone call during our conversation. This review doesnt deserve a 1 star. It deserves 0 since the on-site manager was very disrespectful on the phone call.

My mother rented a 6x12 trailer for us to move her as her health was failing and she needed more intensive care.We immediately had issues with the surge brake pedal that had come up after going around a corner. (We later learned the chain did not have enough slack when it was attached at the uhaul dealer)While struggling to fix the issue, my mother was seriously injured. Despite what was shown in each help video we watched-there was NO tongue jack and the hitch had fallen on her leg, breaking both it and her phone in the fall.We tried contacting uhaul for help numerous times during this struggle but the online link would not allow us to request roadside assistance. Having no phone, we continued to attempt contact through customer service chat on a tablet.Everytime we were able to reach someone, we had to explain the entire situation and request roadside assistance. Everytime we were transferred, we were disconnected. We did this probably 6 times before the tablet finally died leaving us stranded on the side of a highway with my injured mother.We decided to hope for the best-having given so many people our location info and them knowing what had happened, surely theyd send help, right? No.After taking my mother to safety and trying to get her care that well have outrageous copays on, We went back to check the status.Still no help had arrived. But the trailer had been towed; $252 plus $192 to have someone come try and undo the surge brake that uhaul chose to ignore.We called a friend who was local to help get my mothers belongings. We lost some of her medical equipment to damage (likely from the tow but it could have been avoided with assistance) but managed to get everything moved for her while still waiting for roadside assistance as we were still in the same general area wed reported being stranded at.Weve been with mom hoping she recovers as her health really couldnt afford an injury like this. We will be hit with medical bills and will likely be unable to afford to replace her phone as such-further limiting her independence.And yet, as we are heading back home this morning, we pass a 6x12 trailer sitting in the same place ours was sitting when we were begging for help. We circle back around to see, and sure enough-its still there!So we have a tow bill from day one, a repair bill for help that should have been covered by uhaul, medical bills, potential phone replacement, and my mother-who may not walk again-seeing a trailer still sitting, still billing, still ignored.I pulled over and after a few hours, managed to loosen the bolts enough to lower the brake. I dropped it off at the closest place I could find, utterly disgusted.I have used uhaul in the past and never had any issue. Of course, Id never needed to call for help. This being our first experience with needing assistance, you guys really dropped the ball. I can honestly say that any future move will likely be done with a different company despite my years of recommending uhaul to everyone I know.I dont even know how you could possibly make this right, my mother should NOT have had to suffer like this simply to be moved closer to better care. Uhaul should have been more on top of this and I certainly hope she does not get hit with a bill from you after everything else shes suffered over this lapse in customer service.

Went to get propane tank filled @ 5:00 pm on 7/25. Dude behind desk looked at me and continued on his personal cell phone call for five minutes with me standing three feet in front of him, so I left and will never go back.

Meh visit. The place was clean but the staff wasnt completely professional. As I was leaving, the employee marked my gas on the contract higher than the guage actually was when I went to the truck. Yup, he didnt check it prior. I took a a screenshot before leaving to avoid any drama. When I came back, another employee was a bit rude when I parked my truck. So in the future, Id go back but Id look around first.

Received a phone call from Uhaul on the morning we were supposed to pick up our truck and they said they were over booked and we could not keep our truck as long as we needed it. No other solutions offered or compensation.
