This store packed and delivered a clearance, fragile Christmas item that I couldnt get online or find locally. Score! It arrived packed well, but not quite good enough...the very top was crushed. Fail. I called the next day and Shauna made it right for me. Another one arrived the next day...in tact! There were all kinds of packing material inside. The multiple fragile stickers, a personal Please Be Gentle, Thank you note and a huge happy face, had to make the UPS driver smile and handle my item with care. LOL! Seeing the box made me smile! Big Score!The item is a gift for my mom. Shes going to be so happy with it! Thank you for getting my moms gift to me in such a special way!This is a great end to a not so good story for me... great customer service from Pottery Barn!
I would rate this store 5 stars if you can get Tim as your sales associate. He is absolutely the best, very knowledgeable, kind and helpful. He went out of his way to help me with my sons bedding and the beyond when he recommended a blanket that he knew I would love based on my bedding taste. There were a couple of things not available in his store and he called around to find them so the store could ship them directly to me. He had the highest level of customer service. As for the store as a whole, it is comfortable with plenty of product, nice atmosphere and the store manager seems to be very involved in the floor, which is always a good thing. Thanks for the excellent customer service.
Breathtakingly gorgeous displays. The art of merchandising is apparent here. I only wanted everything in the entire store! Fortunately, my cover charge, lol, was minimal. Just wanted to make my Christmas collections more current. Adding a new accent will do just the trick!
I first shopped here when the 2011 tornado took my daughters house and we had to obtain items for her to live with while rebuilding and then to refurnish the new house. God sent us Stephanie, who has consistently proven herself to be an absolute angel to us both all these years. She is extremely knowledgeable, professional, friendly, helpful, understanding and oh so patient, no matter what the moments need. She worked with us through the difficult times when we werent able to think completely straight and protected us in every way. She made suggestions and informed us of every conceivable aspect that could possibly benefit my daughter and keep her from mistakes.She has remained a blessing in our lives as we continue to shop there all these years since, to the point that I always look for her and leave her greetings if she isnt there. Stephanies help and friendship made a huge difference at a very difficult time and is a blessing that lasts till this day.The staff we have encountered beyond Stephanie has always treated us well and I have nothing but praise for the store. I wish more stores ran like this one.
I like to check out sales here if I happen to be at the Mall, which is not often. I found 2 matching pillows, 1 on sale & 1 not marked down. So I found an employee & asked her if the non-sale one was just missed when being marked down. She said it was just missed & tell the cashier what she said when I checked out. Made sense; they were fallish colored. I left them on the counter & looked around some more. When I checked out, the guy charged me full price & I said I asked & another person who said both should be the same price. He called her to confirm she said that. She did. When he got off the phone he made sure to tell me she was wrong & one was on sale because it was damaged & the other was full price BUUUUUTTT, since she told me, hed go ahead & discount the item. First, bad form to do that in front of a customer. Second, pillow cover was not damaged. It was a seasonal thing. One just got missed when marking down.
Worst service weve ever experienced. Tried to buy a present online and in all spent over 2 hours on hold to be given almost no information, the item was almost a week late, and the people we talked to were not helpful. Would give zero stars if I could.

I must say I became a customer of PB through my wedding registry. I must say that overall I have only 1 one negative experience with an associate that I have since not seen at the store. Besides that experience I have had nothing but absolutely glowing experiences with the managers and associates there. If there is a problem with a product, no problem bring it back.I would definitely recommend PB as a registry place for a bride-to-be. If you see something that you simply must have keep and eye out for their frequent sales and coupon codes via e-mail. If you happen to be given the most hideous towel set bring it in and exchange it.

Absolutely horrible customer service!! I went into Pottery Barn today to purchase an 8x10 rug for my home. I walk into the store around 3pm; no greeting what-so-ever. I proceed to the back of the store to view the sample rugs where Maya was working. She and other sales associates completely ignored me over 15 minutes. I walked around looking for help, and went to the register LOOKING for help. When I asked, it was pitiful and they were not friendly. I regretfully purchased the rug from the store, but am seriously contemplating taking it back and buying it online because of how rude they were.
