Carful with these guys. They will tell you one thing and do another. Told us they were giving us $800 for each trade in. Trade in wasn’t even on the receipt. Turns out they only gave us $700 each. Trade ins didn’t even have a scratch. They said they never told us $800 and couldn’t do anything about it because it was already in the system as traded in. Then come to find out they charged us for things they didn’t ask us if we wanted done or tell us there was a charge for doing. I could have backed my own phone up and restored it if I knew there was a charge for it. Cost me almost and extra $200 I didn’t need to spend. These guys are thieves, save yourself money and go directly to Verizon.

Went here to upgrade my S9 to a Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G and I love it! The store looks amazing and its easy to social distance inside. The guys working there definitely know their stuff! Friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back for my smart watch and any future upgrades!

My husband always wants to goto the big city like Grand Rapids and I said no. We get excellent services at the Ionia store. This is my second purchase just today.

Every time I go in there, and I’m forcing myself to go in there because I have no where else to get help when it comes to certain problems with my Verizon account, most of the guys in there have very poor customer service skills. They are very rude, impatient and demeaning when it comes to explaining things that are hard to understand. I have another friend who avoids going there because she doesn’t like the way she is treated either.

Staff was limited, which I can understand on a Sunday, but very uneducated in promotions and deals etc. I received $180 trade in for a mint condition iPhone XR for the new iPhone 12 even though there were promos that i was eligible to receive up to $440 for it. Two days later my sister upgraded from the same phone as I had and received the promo of $440 no problem. Called TCC and was told there was nothing they could do to help and were very rude when answering my questions. I recommend going to another Verizon store if possible!

Be very careful here. They try to sell you stuff you dont need. Also slip things in (insurance) without your ok. Tried telling us we needed to upgrade our plan to access 5g. We didnt. Also slipped insurance into our plan that they told my wife was free. It isnt. Avoid this place

Six months ago my phone wasn’t working, so I took it to the TCC Ionia location to see if anyone could help me. It was broken, so I asked what my options were from their store. I was told that my account, my line specifically had a promotion on it where I would get $699 dollars off a new IPhone. I thought it was too good to be true, but they assured me this was the case and even gave me a receipt with the discount on it. Over the next few months my bill was showing that I was still paying for the full price if the phone. Every time I called the store to inquire why this was happening I was told to wait a few billing cycles and it would work itself out. Finally I called the corporate number and was told that this promotion was only for a specific kind of plan, one that I didn’t have. In addition, I was passed the return date and couldn’t return my phone. I was then told that TCC would have to assist me with figuring out a plan for what I could do, as I cannot afford a full priced new phone. (I would have purchased a refurbished phone online if I had known all this mistake would have occurred.)I understand that people and employees make mistakes. But I am rating this store so low because of the way I was treated once I brought this to the attention of the Ionia (and Grand Ledge) manager, Terry. He informed me that his employee couldn’t possibly have explained the promotion incorrectly to me and they everyone there is very well trained, insinuating that I was lying or just very confused. He told me that he would have to look at the security footage from that day, and “investigate” the situation by discussing it with his employees, then speak with his “higher ups.” I waited over a month for a call back, and called both the Ionia and Grand Ledge locations in an attempt to follow up with Terry, with still no response. All this time I was getting charged for a phone that I didn’t plan on paying for and could not afford. Eventually I called the corporate line again and was able to have an employee assist me with getting a discounted price for the phone. It wasn’t exactly what I was hoping for, but I still haven’t heard from anyone at TCC, and I have been dealing with this mistake for 6 months now.

I went in to TCC with my wife to get new phones and also get on our own phone plan. It was definitely a lengthy process as we had to get my line released from my old family plan and set up a new Verizon account, but Jim made the whole experience fun. As soon as we walked in we could feel the welcoming and friendly environment. There was no pressure to buy anything, and I have never laughed so much while buying a phone. He is an awesome guy with a great sense of humor, and when our purchase was complete, we were sad to go. Thanks for all the help Jim!

Great service quick and fast.

I typically have a much better experience with this store - and perhaps the store is short staffed due to the pandemic, but I was very disappointed in the complete lack of customer service I encountered there on Sunday, May 31. My son and I were the next in line behind 2 customers working with the lone staff member at the desk, however, we were never even greeted, let alone acknowledged. We left after 13 minutes of being completely ignored. He planned to buy a new iPhone, so definitely a missed opportunity for a sale and for advancing customer relations. Neither the employee nor the 2 customers he was working with had on masks either, which I also found quite disappointing.

Jim was so extremely helpful with all of our questions. Highly recommend going to his store.

It was a great experience. The atmosphere was amazing. They made it all worthwhile. We ended up switching from AT&T. What we paid at AT&T for two phones got us two phones and two tablets here. Jim was the worker that helped us out, and I cant thank him enough.

Came in to the for a quick question about my phone and Benny helped me out. He was super helpful, nice, and had a great sense of humor. Best Verizon store out there!

We recently went to this Verizon location because of the great customer service. We added a line, upgraded to the new edge and 10 gb of data. We were told our monthly bill would be between $160-$180 per month effective immediately. After receiving the first bill however it was over $220 a month. I spoke with the online chat and was told I was miss informed at the retail store. To say the least, I was not happy. We spent at least 3 hours in the store asking questions and making sure the sales rep understood our price range. Instead we were misinformed and are now stuck with a bill we can not afford. We will no longer be visiting this location and will be shopping around for a different cell phone provider.

Said they would pay $200 if I wanted to upgrade my phone. I only owe $119 on my current phone. Somehow they told me I would still have to pay $50 to upgrade.Then she said she could do better for me on my plan. I currently pay $51 for my plan she wanted me to pay $80 to go unlimited even though I havent got close to going over my current data plan. Then asked her about my 15% discount, she tells me that they dont honor that on this plan or the phone. I went from changing my phone to considering changing my provider.

Reposting my review, since my previous review no longer shows for some reason....They do the bare minimum of their job. I came in with a problem. They didnt even pretend to care, or look at the issue. They told me to contact the manufacturer. I asked if they had the number handy and was told TO GOOGLE IT. Thankfully the other worker there took literally 5 seconds to look up the number while his co-worker went to get me a replacement. Someone please give Terrance a refresher on customer service.I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS STORE. Id rather make the drive into the Grand Rapids location, because they know how to treat a customer. Even if its something they cant replace for free they have always made me feel listened to, respected and appreciated as a customer. I regret ever going to this store.

Will never go here again. Id much rather spend my time at a Verizon store that employs Verizon employees. The three people that tried to help me had no idea how to do any of the simple upgrade that I was looking for. The next day when I went somewhere better I was helped in an instant with no issue

They were unable to reinstall keyboard & settings to my original due to auto up grade. I didnt ask anyone to change my things around. Now this POS spells & adds words when ever it wants & I hate my phone. Must B Time for a new server?????? Very un happy., 😖😝😤☹️😵 Fix my phone so I can add 4 more Stars

Went in today 3/25/18 waited in line for a half hour and not even once acknowledged by either of the workers. Thats horrible customer service even if its just a hello sir well be with you shortly. Nope nothing, so thats why Im writing my review. Another customer also walked out that came in after me as he wasnt acknowledged either. Ill never step foot inside this store again even to pay a bill!

I was I the store purchasing a product,I over heard a sales guy helping a veteran about why his bill is so high,I had to ask dont he get a military discount,the sales guy said no,then the girl who worked there told her worker,I think they do,by then the customer had left and nothing was done about his bill. I said I believe military get a discount,the sales guy said well maybe active duty,I dont believe that to be true,I believe its our veterans too,so I was very discusted and will not be back in that store. Its called respect and also solve a customers problems instead of just saying the bill is right.
