Really liked this place until my Dr. no longer works there. The other doctors are not taking new patients, so either I have to drive from Kernersville to Lexington to keep my Dr. or find another practice. Triangle Vision just lost my family to a new practice in town.

Nothing but good things to say about this place. Ive been going a few years now and wouldnt even consider anywhere else. All of the staff are very friendly and the doctors knowledgable. My last appointment I accidentally put it down a day early on my calendar, yet they shuffled things around and worked with me to get me in and cared for.

Dr. Orr and Natalie have been GREAT. They helped one of my daughters get fitted for contacts. Their level of patience and caring is unsurpassed. Also, the front office staff is always available to answer questions and are very pleasant to work with. TV has been a wonderful experience!!

Dr.Harper is always very professional, personable, thorough and and caring. The ladies who do the testing before seeing the doctor are professional and efficient. Love all the opticians who help with picking out frames. I trust their opinions more than my own!! Wonderful practice that my family has used for years and plan to continue to do so.

The office kept me on a cancellation list and called me. The office was following all COVID guidelines and I felt very safe there. The staff was warm, welcoming and proficient at their jobs. Dr Harper was amazing as always and worked with me to make sure my vision was corrected in the best way possible. The optical staff ( Joy) was amazing as always, and very knowledgeable and kind. The office staff worked with me to get the contacts I needed. Superior service!!!

I gave this business 5 stars because I scheduled an appointment for end of September and everyone else I called was booked until November. They took me in on the same day and slid me in someones spot that canceled last minute. I had a bad experience at My Eye Dr in Kernersville so I wanted to give them a try and see how the business was and this will be my permanent Optometrists. It had a feeling like family and I knew everyone when I didnt. Dr. Wells was so nice. He answer every question about my autoimmune disease and the meds that can affect my eyes and somethings he made me aware of that I didnt know. All the staff in this building was so nice and pleasant. They didnt mind helping you. Yes and Mrs. Joy bless her heart she was so patient with me while it took me forever to narrow down my favorite pair of frames. She didnt rush me into it and she is given me time to decide because I couldnt decide on my frames in one day between the 3. I will be only seeing them for now on.

When it was privately owned the service was incredible. I have been going there for 7+ years and never had any issues getting an appointment. This past year was tough dealing with COVID which is understandable. I had made an appointment months in advance and called the day before to reschedule to to an unavoidable last minute business meeting for work. The person involved in rescheduling was short and he said there were no appointments available until March 2021, 4 months away. I was very surprised and went ahead and scheduled the appointment back in November and asked to be put on a call list for any openings due to cancellations. I have not received one call in the last couple months and will be going to a new optometrist. This is very sad. I do not recommend Triangle Visions at all. I hope selling out to a franchise was worth it for the owners because it certainly didnt offer anything but bad service for me.***1/20/2021 UPDATE***Within a week of this review I received a call regarding an open appointment they had from a cancellation. I jumped on the opportunity. Service was excellent. Dr. Kimberly Orr was great at getting my new prescription dialed in and different lenses from another manufacturer. Very pleasant experience and I will be going back. They also gave me the prescription for lenses for my glasses so I could compare pricing with Costco.

I would give Kristin and Dr. Gesford 10 stars for vision therapy! My teenage daughter was referred by our optometrist for vision therapy because of migraines and because her eyes would switch back and forth from near to far sightedness. She’s had migraines since kindergarten and has always struggled to see the board in class. We are beyond pleased with everything—extremely courteous, professional, and always willing to work with changing school schedules. My daughter’s vision is now 20/20 and she can see every sign and line in the road, and can see every line on the tennis court. Her eyes finally work together and Dr. Gesford made sure my daughter’s vision was locked in. My daughter drove 45 minutes each way for vision therapy and despite having “eye homework” Kristin made the time enjoyable and we could see progress each week. The benefits far outweigh the cost and the payback will be over my daughter’s lifetime. The struggles during the last few months of 100% remote high school have been real but my daughter has not had one migraine despite being on a lap top 10-12 hours per day. I would highly recommend vision therapy with Dr. Gesford and Kristin!

I am giving them a 2. I we to them once. Back in 2020 I went in for my first ever contact lens appointment meaning I had never worn them before. Instead of being me back in when I said I thought I was allergic to the contacts they just changed them over the phone 7 times! I never saw the dr in person AGAIN! I gave up. Now March 2021 time for my yearly. It gets rescheduled due to a doctor schedule change. Cool it gets pushed to May2021. I was unable to make it to that appointment so I called and rescheduled for the next week I show up for that appointment and they had no record of me at all for the month of May. Flash forward to today June 2021 (thankfully I already went somewhere else) I get a voicemail that says they need to reschedule me AGAIN due to a scheduling change. I don’t recommend going here they wouldn’t even send my records to the new place after being asked 5 times. And they finally sent them in poor quality to my new place yesterday which was a full month after my initial appointment at the new location after we had to ask for them AGAIN. I would NEVER recommend ANYONE to EVER go to this establishment.I also need to add that they never called to Inform me that my insurance was no longer good (I new jt wasn’t bc my husband had just quit and started a new job so I didn’t have it) BUT they checked the insurance 2 weeks in advance (any thing can happen in 2 weeks) I said “so what does it say about my insurance” she said oh it’s good to go I said no it’s not check it again. I’m self pay- they would have let me get to the end and be blind sided.The doctors I saw were great when we were in person but the rest. Was horrible. And aggrivating

Speaking as a Service Quality Professional I am pleased to find a business that has great service. I have had multiple contacts with Triangle and each time I give them high marks for Service Quality, Efficiency and focus on Customer Satisfaction. Dont take my word for it, call a few of the other providers and then call Triangle. Check out the business reviews and watch for the patterns in the competitors reviews where they go from good/bad/good/bad/good....thats a red flag. Prices and vision plan coverage being about equal from one provider to another, do yourself a favor and patronize a business that recognizes you as a valued customer.

Wow recent experience with scheduling was terrible. I had an appointment which was made a year In advance and was called and rescheduled for over 3 months later. No care from the staff that my daily contacts would be gone. This office was great when it was just Harper eye care. Just like any business that merges they forget about their patients that have been with them for years. When I stated I would have to find another doctor they simply stated “ok”. Very sad. Will no longer recommend

Our daughter, Miley, recently completed her vision therapy (VT). I have to admit that I was skeptical when I was told she needed VT; however, we have seen HUGE improvements! Miley has much more endurance and focus when doing her schoolwork. She can concentrate much better than before. Her visual memory has also improved drastically, which has helped so much with her academics (especially math).On top of those benefits, it was a great experience going to the office each week. We always felt so welcomed. Miley’s therapist, Kristin, was absolutely wonderful. She made Miley feel at ease and comfortable. Miley actually looked forward to VT days which I attribute solely to Kristin. Dr. Gesford was also great to work with. She made accurate assessments of Miley and then formulated activities and goals for her. The therapy was extremely helpful. I am so grateful we had this opportunity.

I had my follow-up appointment after Dr. Hageman performed my cateract surgery and as I exspected there was no pressure on me to decide what glasses I would like to have.As it turned out all I need is a set of inexspensive readers which I selected. My far and mi-range is Phenomenal after I had the cateract surgery. Almost forgot to mention the colors are once again vivid!! Whit is truely white.

My appointment was Friday. I was very pleased and appreciative for all the people who work there. From the front desk, the ones who helped find my frames, Dr.Wells, Dr. Orr to all the techs. They were all very kind and considerate and they always explained what they were doing and what kind of test they were giving me. Doctor Orr is super awesome! Unfortunately, I’m leaving a bad review due to my experiences with office staff. My first issue arose when I was being assisted with selecting new frames. The woman assisting got an attitude with me because I told her I didn’t want the enhancements to my frames. I politely and repeatedly told her no and she got annoyed and kept making comments that I wouldn’t be able to see as good. My next issue has been during covid. I’ve gone to this office for several years. I missed my appointment during phase 1 because all of my other doctor’s appointments were cancelled. When I called to reschedule i was told there was a new no-show charge going forward. A few days later i received a no-show bill. I called several times inquiring how i received a bill for a charge for a new policy that i was told was going forward but not applicable currently. Even more disappointing and upsetting was during phase 1 of the Covid-19 pandemic. Each time i was told someone in billing would call me back. I never received a returned call or voicemail. When I finally spoke with someone I was told per the notes in the system messages were left with me. I didn’t have any record of a call in my logs or voicemail. I told the rep this and asked for a manager to call me back and it’s been two weeks. My recent appointment was cancelled because i didn’t confirm it. When I said that has never happened, i was told that was the policy for ten years. I have never had to confirm an appointment. The rep said the notes said there was attempted contact but couldn’t leave a voicemail. I told them i didn’t have a call from them. Furthermore, if the confirmation requirement was 10 years old, then why didn’t my appointment get cancelled instead charging me a no-show fee. I’m done.

My daughter participated in the Vision Therapy Program. What a difference it made with her reading ability, decreased headaches and a significant decrease in the amount of time it took her to complete her school work and take tests. She also noticed an improvement with her peripheral vision when playing sports! I highly recommend this program!

I just love Dr. Harper. She is very easy to talk to and is very compassionate with her patients. I have MS and she sees me every 6 months to make sure my eyes havent changed too much due to Optic Neuritis in my left eye. She has been nothing but wonderful to me.💖💖 I recommend her highly.

Its my first time so I cant remember her name, but the woman that helped me with my glasses was great. Now the reason for only 2 stars is due to the woman at the counter telling me she was placing a rush on the glasses so that the Thanksgiving holiday wouldnt hurt my wait time so much. I went in 2 days before Thanksgiving. Its December 3rd and Im still waiting. Called to check on the status of them today and got a message saying they were closed due to a software upgrade. The price on the glasses was great. I got a pink sticker pair and paid a fair price. I actually was quoted out much higher by the competition. How much longer I have to wait for my glasses will determine if I remain a customer.***UPDATE*** I got my glasses after a month. There were issues that caused a delay BUT, the owner made it right and worked with me. ***Update*** after months of wearing these I finally went to smother eyeglass place. I hit curbs and cant gauge well at all. Had headaches daily. Horrible transition lenses. Ill never go back.

I saw Dr. Harper many years ago and she was able to diagnose a eye issue that had been ongoing that my other dr’s could not figure it out. They were very thorough with the tests and exam.The front office people didnt have it together very well. I filled out all of my paper work ahead of time and delivered it days before my appointment and I had to do it again when I got there for my appointment. I had to wait an hour to go back to see the eye doctor. The front office people were not friendly at all. I did not get an itemized bill, so I not sure what things cost. I just know when I left I paid them over $900.00 for a pair of glasses and an exam.

Also, I found them to be pricey.

Called to check to see when my sons doc appt from earlier this month was and was just informed that they no longer take Medicaid ?! I informed her my kids don’t have Medicaid that they have health choice which isn’t the same as Medicaid and she said they don’t take it anymore . So here I am stuck now when my daughter was suppose to start vision therapy with them which they took my money for that since her insurance didn’t cover it and was told to go to their Winston or thomasville office that they take their insurance but they don’t ? Makes no sense to me at all . So here I am gave them money for my daughters evaluation that they did on her for the therapy and paid with care credit just for them to no longer except her insurance and they expect me to drive farther to their other offices and here I am with my son not being able to go to this first appt there now . Very unsatisfied and want my money back !3/6/20 I just sent concerns /complaints via email and will update once I speak to owner .

Dr. Harper is an all-around WONDERFUL optometrist!! In addition to being very professional, knowledgable/competent in her field, and having a great bedside manner, she is extraordinary with young children. I brought my two young children for their first eye exam recently. Dr. Harper was able to thoroughly examine their eyes while playing games, administering Princess Sofias drops (dilation), etc. My children actually had fun at a doctor visit! I felt like I had a pediatric optometrist in addition to an optometrist for me!My father is a retired optometrist so I was very particular about who I saw. In the 7 years I have been Dr. Harpers patient I have recommended her to others repeatedly.

They Cancelled an appointment even after we confirmed via phone. Then tried to tell me you needed to confirm again. I showed up to my appointment to find it was canceled, no notification telling me it was. I came into Triangle Visions with what l thought was a scratch or stye. My left eye hurt and l couldn’t wear my contacts. I’m a carpenter and seeing you a must.Usually avoiding doctors l couldn’t deal with it so l decided to visit Triangle Visions. There l was met by Dr Kim Orr. I can’t say enough about her! She was amazing! She was very through, answering all of my questions and because lm visual she even drew my eye on a piece of paper to describe what my issue was. She recommended a treatment plan and gave me a coupon to offset the cost of the eye drops. A few days went by and she contacted me personally just to check on me! That l appreciated. Who does that anymore? I forgot to mention they were booked up but she worked me in each day l needed them.Kim Orr made me feel comfortable, she was professional, kind, and her customer care was top notch. She’s one of those happy people! They were friendly to! Lol all of them

Triangle Vision continues to email me with requests to leave a review, which I have a policy of never doing. But since they keep asking, here are my thoughts:I hope Triangle Vision changed their lense coating vendor when they changed their name. In 2017, I purchased two new pair of glasses and had two old frames replaced with new lenses, spending @ $2,300 which included the cost of all protective coatings. Within the first two months, all four pair were scratched so badly I couldn’t wear them. I used the recommended cleaning fluid and wipes as directed, never cleaning while dry. In 2018, I went back to Lenscrafters, whose glasses I have never had a single scratch on in 20 years, and purchased two new pair. I will not go back to Triangle Vision and will not recommend to anyone.

Fast, concise appointment that answered all my questions as well as giving me a complete exam! Love Dr Orr!
