My cars rear differential was toasted, very obvious sign. I called a tow truck, had them deliver my vehicle to transmission pros to be fixed. I was quoted a hefty 1,440 dollars, but because I wanted this issue to be handled fast and back in my car, I didnt shop anywhere else. Steve ordered me a differential and one of his guys installed it on my car. Obviously they installed it wrong and didnt do the right procedures via relearn procedure because now my transmission isnt shifting and there is a big clunk coming from the rear end. I have text messages of Steve flipping out saying this is why I hate my job and also saying lol basically laughing at the fact that my car is a Chrysler. As a professional you never break the barrier and come out of character the way he did. This goes to show you that he hates his job and doesnt value the vehicle that you have taken to him to fix. Please take your vehicle to HOLT TRANSMISSION or the dealer for actual transmission work Be done, trust me.Be advised I too that he was a cool guy, but after this experience I will not go back. Yes I told him to put in a rear end differential, but bringing my car back to me worst than it was and having new issues is another thing as also being slick by saying I may need a transmission soon but it drives ok......the car wont even get out of 1st gear.

Excellent customer care!!! Auto Zone recommended these guys. The owner was great. Verified and cleared a warning light that didnt clear after the repair. Great experience with Transmission Pros. Steven was recommended to me by my regular shop to investigate a slight roaring noise that have i have begun to hear on my Chevy 1500 Silverado. I made an appointment with Steven and took my truck for him to evaluate. After running diagnostics and performing a test drive Steven gave me a thorough explanation of what he thought could be causing the noise. His conclusion was that he thought the issue was not critical and that I should continue to drive the truck and monitor fluids on a monthly basis. I will definitely use Transmission Pros again.

As a small business owner I try to give people my honest opinion. Even when the course of action required may mean I don’t get work from it. I had my van diagnosed at transmission pros and it did have some transmission issues but my main problem was a fuel starvation issue. I really appreciate Steve being honest and not trying to rope or pressure me into more work than was needed. I will have to address the transmission issue very soon and I know where I will be going.

I took my vehicle to this transmission shop today. The shop owner drove the vehicle with me and explained that he didnt think the problem resulted from any transmission problem, but rather from a motor mount or strut issue. No fees were charged. I was referred to another shop to check struts and motor mounts. The problem was indeed due to a motor mount. I appreciate how no attempt was made to sell me transmission repair or services that were not needed. I highly recommend this shop.

My daughter and I dropped in to ask advice on some transmission symptoms that she was having. They were extremely helpful andknowledgeable providing some great ideas for solutions without charging us a dime or expecting us to have them do the work! I would highly recommend them as honest and reputable!

Had my check engine light come on when I was a few miles out of town. Luckily, I was able to return to Ladson for the night. I found this repair shop in the morning and they did their best to get my car diagnosed and repaired as soon as possible so I could continue my trip up the coast. Steve did a phenomenal job and had my car done by the end of the work day. I was back on the road heading back north within a few hours of dropping my car off. I highly recommend Transmission Pros!

Awesome place! I went in a few weeks ago while visiting family and had what I thought was a need for a new alternator. I wasnt going to be able to return to home without it. I was ready to shell out the $cash$ I figured it would be and notified them thats what I was expecting to be the problem. BUT, within the hour, they called to let me know it was actually the battery, which would only be about $120. They easily saved me a good $300 or more because they are honest!!!

I understand more than anyone that mechanical problems can be hard to diagnose, but when you take my money, promise to warranty, leave me stranded 3 times, state on your website that you have a nationwide warranty, and then talk to my child totally disrespectfully when she is broken down alone in New Jersey and is asking for your guidance, I have to come to the conclusion that you are a dishonest and disrespectful business person. I would have thought a person who is part of martial arts would have had much more integrity. Having to endure the expenses of rentals, hotels, and having to buy a new car because of the loss of faith in you to do your job in 3 tries on a 2005 Jeep Wrangler with less than 95K is frustrating. Especially when you claim to be Pros! What is disappointing is that you didn’t even try to be somewhat accommodating. Shame on you. I believe in Karma. I could waste my time to try to recoup over $3000 you cost us, not to mention the weeks you had my vehicle, but for right now, you are not worth it. I prefer to focus on the good people in my life. You are not a good man Steve.

Worst customer service ever!! I took my car there for one issue, paid for repair, and the issue ended up being worse than it was before. Steve claims to stand behind his work, but he does not. I left the shop and noticed a bigger problem than the original. I called 5 minutes later to report issue and was told I must have driven it wrong (or done something). Ummm within 5 minutes of leaving!! I think NOT!!Multiple trips, wasted time away from work, documented second opinion in hand, and still not resolved. Beware!! The prices may be decent to get you in the door, but you may end up getting more than you bargained for. I ended paying to have my car repaired correctly somewhere else for a job that was botched here. I will NEVER EVER patronized this place again.

This is the best experience i have ever had at a repair shop. They do so much more than transmission repair. I went to another shop and get a $1158 estimate, Steve took his scanner and told me that it was a $56 part, $110 labor, and $20 transmission fluid. The ONLY shop i will EVER go to from now on. I few months ago, I was having transmission problems and took my car into Transmission Pros. I had gotten an estimate from 2 other transmission places first (big name ones), and Transmission Pros had the best to offer. They were very friendly and super fast! I received an estimate before any work was done and the staff there were very courteous. My car was finished before the estimated time and they even picked me up to get it. My car is running better than ever and they even gave me a great warranty on the parts AND labor! I will definitely be using them again and refer all my friends/family there!
